The portioning is unacceptable. I always get a bowl and tortilla bread on the side and usually they would fill the bowl up with everything I asked for. I dont know if this is happening to all the chipotles but they are REALLY skimping out with the portions. Tell why I open my bowl and it's not even HALF full??? Truly disappointed. I ordered one of the salad bowls for my wife. The one that comes with the honey vinaigrette. I called the work to make sure they give me some cause the vinaigrette adds extra and needed flavor. I even went out of my way to tip $10 on a $40 bill. Got home. Knocked off a star because they ran out of lettuce and a few key ingredients. This must be a popular spot since they ran out early. There was also a long line when I came in but it wasoving quickly. Came here once again and the portions every time I come here my portions are the smallest. Food is great and good but the portions always bother me. Service is good expect for the portions they give me. The rest of the order gets normal portions expect and I feel not cool with small portions. We ordered online for the last time today- the portions, even with extra rice, barely filled a 1/4 of the bowls and the burrito was a joke. A few years ago this was a decent location, but every year it gets worse. To top it off, when we saw the issue during pickup and asked for the portions to be corrected to at least match what we could see others were getting in line, and we received a so what attitude and eventually the option to have 1 extra side of rice to solve for 2 bowls and 1 burritos worth of portion issues, nothing else. I would not recommend this location and this is not an isolated incident. You can get more food from Taco Bell for the same price, and at least they have consistent portions. read more

This location rips people off. Got home with my order and even though I ordered chips and guacamole I only got the guacamole no chips. When I called for a refund, major runaround. Warning! My wife had a sticker in her food. She almost ate it. It was one of those stickers that come on avocados at the grocery store. When we tried to call the store, it was impossible to get through to a human. Not the first time we've had problems here. So fed up with this place! Made a yelp just for this. This is the greatest chipotle on the face of the planet. The fact that it has 2.5 stars is an absolute travesty. The people of Fredericksburg are clearly entitled brats if they think this isn't a great location. To start, no one acknowledged me for the first 5 minutes I was in the restaurant and I was standing directly in front of the girl behind the counter. She looked passed me multiple times. When she did acknowledge me it was a mumbled "what's it gonna be" as she continued talking to others around her. They've also prioritized online orders to the point that they won't sell chips and queso to those in the restaurant because there's "not enough". This is the worst location I've ever been to. It hasn't gotten better. Rice has bugs in it, customer service sucks, the staff cant wrap burritos properly, don't follow simple CoVid or proper food handling protocols and do not order online. They will skimp your food (even when you order extra) and never honor the pick up time. I've come to pick up orders multiple time in which the staff did not even start my order and I showed up 5 minutes after it was supposed to be done. They took an entire store worth of customers, line to the door, before working on or even acknowledging my pre order that was alright late. They need to shut this franchise down until they can't revamp and get a competent management and staff. I went around 7pm and there was no line which was surprising. They are very generous in the portions they give. Felt like I was given 2 1/2 meals for the price of one! I ordered a vegetarian burrito bowl with sofritas and a tortilla on the side. The sofritas were made perfectly. I don't know if it's the managements directive or corporate, but you do not get what you pay for. What finally tipped me over was tonight, when I ordered a cauliflower rice bowl, I moved and raked the toppings around to find practically two tablespoons of cauliflower spread so thin across the bottom, they may as well have left it out. I don't mind paying the up charge, but give me what I pay for. This has happened to me before when paying for extra protein and other add ons, but I just chalked it up to oversight. I came in today, 12 February 2016, for my free burrito. I was a LONG-time, faithful Chipotle patron for years, and switched to Salsarita's during the food poisoning scare. I had observed that Salsarita's was more laid back...I wasn't made to feel like I was being rushed down an assembly line, as is almost always the case at Chipotle. Anyway, since Chipotle closed down temporarily to retrain and to clean, I expected today to find the employees focused on cleanliness and customer service. Result: disappointment. It is 3:00 PM, there are very few customers in here, yet I was still hustled through the assembly line like a hot potato being passed from hand to hand. There was no ice in the ice machine. I told the cashier. "Okay," she replied. But, she took no action. I found three employees at a table, doing paperwork, so I told them and the problem was finally corrected. The tables are dirty and the floor is dirty. Since the source of the recent troubles was a health issue, I expected to see employees expeditiously cleaning up. Not the case. The table next to me remains filthy, 20 minutes after it was vacated. In addition to the three employees doing paperwork, there are two on break, eating. I know that they need a break, but I'd think that cleanliness would come first, especially now. I'm going back to Salsarita's. read more

I am visiting from it's if state and was excited to try chipotle for the first time. The staff that helped us through the line was very kind and friendly, then we got to the cashier. She misunderstood a situation about a $0.55 dressing and was very rude. No one was asking for free product. Instead of using her critical thinking skills and being respectful to the customer, she was obviously overwhelmed and ruined the experience. Perhaps there is a better position for her that is not front facing the customers. I won't hold this against the company, as it was obviously a single employee that was the issue. read more

The food and service was not really memorable. Food tastes the same as most Chipotles. There was no line...A PLUS. But they were running low of most ingredients so it took as long as if there was a long line. A MINUS. My complaint is the parking lot. It's falling apart, you don't know where to park because the lines have been removed, trash scattered everywhere and there was a gentleman canvassing the cars for unlocked automobiles. Stopped here today for a bowl w/chicken ..... noticed at checkout that "Cg" was written on the lid & that the total was $10.16.... I told the girl that I had gotten chicken and was wondering why the price was higher than normal. She told me I had the chicken and guac ("Cg"), swiped my card, & handed me my order.... I know I didn't order guac, but maybe the line person put it on there by accident.... so I took the bowl out of the bag, opened it up, & sure enough- there was NO guac. Don't waste your time going here. There are never enough people working to keep up with the customers in store and the online orders. The past two times I went in they started making online orders when I got to the front of the line. They don't acknowledge that I am standing in line waiting or give any indication of how long it will take. They act as if I'm not even there.
