Wow! 4 years later and here I am making another review. I cant even believe the lacking of good management in this specific Chipotle like literally only chipotlebi have ever ever had issues with and I've live in 4 different states. My friend and I ordered a burrito and a quesadilla. Not only did the door dash driver have the wrong order thanks to you guys. He gave us 3 kids meals with a bowl with a whole other families meal. When he tried to fix it you guys were "closed" which is funny cause when I called a nice gentleman answered the phone and when I was handed to management as soon as I asked for a name I got hung up on. Recently purchased a burrito here, and I will say Chipotle's burritos are delicious and large! I was close to not finishing my burrito because I was so full. They are expensive, however. They charge $7-$8 for a regular burrito without any extra portions or toppings (e.g. extra meat, guacamole, and quesa). I would think $5-$6 for a Chipotle burrito would be a fair price? As for the tacos, the portions are small, so do not purchase those if you are starving---get the burrito instead. The inside of Chipotle is very clean and the service is quick and friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating, which I thought was nice. Overall, the quality of the food is good. The ingredients are all-natural, too, giving the food excellent nutritional value and flavor. Chipotle Mexican Grill is on the expensive side; however, if you are not picky about that sort of thing and are hungry for delicious, natural Mexican food, I would recommend eating here. read more

Great food, quick service, and fresh ingredients. Plus, I like that you can get a burrito bowl and not have a tortilla. I love their cilantro-lime rice with chicken or steak and even barbacoa sometimes with sour cream, and black beans. Yum ! Healthy food that tastes great. Way to go Chipotle! read more

I just left there 10/22019 @ 1140 and first thing I noticed ordering a bowl is the very small portions being put in the bowl but then put a huge glob of sour cream on top. Then I asked for chips with queso and had to ask twice then they filled the cup halfway of queso for a bag of chips. And to top it all all off they do not have a military discount which meant I paid full price for a little over half I was given. Lastly customer service seems like their giving you your food now please leave type vibe. I don't feel right after going there it's as if I bothered them or something and they're attitude is take your food and leave. read more

This is my first time ever leaving a negative review on here because I don't like to complain but the service and quantity of food we received was ridiculous!My hubby and I had just finished working out so we decided to stop here for a healthy choice. First of all, usually when you enter a chipotle you get greeted by At Least one person, not tonight though! 5 employees and not a single one greeted us. They were all standing around near the cash register so we asked if they were closed (it was 9:30) and one mumbled no. I figured with 30 minutes til closing it wouldn't be a problem since everything is cooked already and we weren't ordering something special. After waiting a few minutes for the guy to finish washing his hands he finally looked up so I said I'd like a chicken bowl with brown rice and pinto beans to which his response was for here or to go. I said for here please then had to repeat everything again which wasn't a problem but the fact that he didn't even bother to give us a full portion (a spoonful) was kind of odd. When my husband saw the half filled bowl he almost walked out. The thing that sucks is there was plenty of food prepared but the employees were packing containers for each other so we paid almost $13.00 for half a bowl and chips with guac. At least serve paying customers FIRST then take whatever left overs there are home. I think paying customers are supposed to be served first not the other way around! Management needs to train these kids on what customer service is because the only employee that gave good customer service was the cashier (Cassandra I believe) . read more

I rarely write this type of a review, however today was such a bad experience I felt the need to let your company know. Today 8/1/21, I placed an order for my husband and I on the Chipotle app and was promised it would be ready by 5:10pm, it was not ready so I stood near the pick up area to wait. A girl employee came out from the back of the kitchen area and walked towards me, she did not greet me, instead she very rudely said "Let me see your confirmation", her tone was so rude that it threw me for a loop and made me feel as if was she thought I was there to take something that wasn't mine. I proceeded to show her my confirmation on my phone, she did not say a word, turned around and walked away. I wasn't sure if she was going back to work on my order or not, but I continued to wait patiently as there were other customers waiting also. 10 minutes later at 5:20pm the same girl employee came back out from the kitchen and walked straight to me, put a bag down on the table next me and walked away without saying anything, so as she was walking away I asked her if that bag was my order, she said "yes" and continued walking away without even looking back at me, I asked her if everything was in the bag, she said very short and abruptly "everything that's supposed to be there" with a very rude tone of voice and ugly attitude. I decided to check the bag for myself before leaving the store, twice before this time I have had items missing from my order but don't notice until I get all the way home and then see something is missing (one time the guac was missing from my order and another time the chips were not in the bag). The girl employee from today that just dropped off the bag turned around when she heard me opening the bag and said in an extremely rude, loud and boisterous voice "Door dash is not supposed to open the bag!!" She was so loud she startled me. I told her "I am not Door Dash this is my own order" the girl rolled her eyes at me, turned around and walked back into the kitchen without saying anything, not even an apology. In the past when something was missing I have called the store to report the missing item, however nobody answers the phone. I also tried calling the next day one time to talk to a manager, again no answer but I did leave a message asking that a manager call me back, however no call back. I assume that your upper management and corporate have no idea that the customer service at this location (Hemet, California) has been so terrible and that the employees hired have been so disrespectful, such as this female employee. Back to today, I did have all the items ordered in the bag, however the portions were much smaller than I usually get at other Chipotle locations, also there were no utensils nor any napkins. This may be minor, but after such a terrible experience I feel it needs to be addressed as well. I would love to have someone from corporate call me in regards to this less than satisfactory experience. read more

Went to chipotle today because my sister and I love the food, in the girl with the glasses seemed like she just wasn't happy! We ordered 3 salad bowls and none of the portions were equal we asked to add more and she only added two pieces I had to pay $3 more because she didn't want to make the portions equal as one bowl had more. For the price we should be getting more food. I also asked for the hot sauce on the side for our bowls and got absolutely nothing! I decided to give this chipotle location 5 stars thanks to Zion who helped me with my order last night. I came in with my friend 6 minutes to closing. I'm already knowing that it's the end of the night and the last thing an employee would want to do is take more order. Staff needs some serious re-training. Ordered online for pickup and waited over 40 minutes and my food ended up being cold. Staff was rude and was gossiping not doing their job the entire time. I was given attitude for simply asking when my order would be ready. They didn't even seem like they wanted to do my order and ended up having a line going all the way to the exit because they couldn't even finish mine. The "cook" wasn't even in the kitchen half the time when being asked to prepare something. These women need to get it together. I'm never usually the one to complain but this service was terrible. The hemet location use to be great I don't know what happened with these new employees. I actually made a complaint online to make things easier and even though the response was late I was still given a free entree through mail. So I guess that's a plus. read more

I really appreciate Chipotles food, but good grief they are horrible about portions. If I don't walk in myself to babysit how they portion food and use the online ordering option or Door Dash, the food is skimpy. And if I had a dollar for every time they forgot salad dressing, I could eat lunch for free for a week. Here I am at 9:30 at night and after having my order delivered via DoorDash, I have to drive out so they can make it again. They didn't put lettuce in my salad. No lettuce in a salad? And on the other, they didn't even put meat on it. So I ate the delivery fee for Chipotles incompetence and they didn't even offer an apology when I called. I come to this Chipotle about 2 or 3 times a month. Service is usually good although when the place is empty (while i'm eating) the workers have a tendency to gather around and chit chat. Guess its okay if "everything that needs to be done is done" but in my opinion there's always something more productive to do than stand around and talk. read more

Tonight I had a free meal waiting for me because the last time I went into chipotle I was treated very poorly and complained to the manager, so she wrote down my name and said the next time I come in I can have a free meal. I'll explain below what happened the day I called in to complain but one of the things I said due to being treated so poorly that day was "I'm going to take matters into my own hands and (call corporate) because of how I'm being treated today". Which I did say. IN THAT ORDER. The original day I went into chipotle not only was I being laughed at by the young African American employee , but I was being made fun of as well. She kept speaking over me and would consistently interrupt what I was saying. So I requested someone else to serve me. When the other employee, a young African American man took over he told me I can have all the extra cheese I want because they don't charge for it. Then the AA girl said, "haha, give her all the cheese she wants". The manager who I spoke to on the phone after I left that day told me she heard all that went on and that she spoke to the young girl about her behavior saying it was wrong and also gave her verbal warning. So, I left that day calm and content thinking all was well and that the next time I came in I would be getting a free meal because of how awful I was treated by that employee. I've been going to chipotle for 10 years CONSISTENTLY. The employees know my family and I. They can stand with me on this. I have never once been told that I have to be charged $1 or more for a tiny bit of extra chicken or cheese because I never ask for much more. I'm aware that if I get a lot extra I will be charged. I wanted a "TINY" bit extra. Typically there is no issue when I request that if need be. FYI, I don't ask every time. With that said...about two weeks later I go into chipotle Jan 16th 2019 at around 6pm, and I asked for my free meal at the register politely. Well that turned into a conversation with the manager where she pulled me aside of the line and said that I was "NO LONGER WELCOME" into the store. I asked why and she said it's due to threatening the lives of the workers and her on the phone that day I called to complain about the employee making fun of me??! The manager said to me, "Ya, you said, you're going to take matters into your own hands"......I said, EXCUSE ME? Like?? I was waiting for the rest of the sentence?!? You forgot the "AND CALL CORPORATE PART? I said, I would never say that or threaten a life...esp over food?!? I seriously felt ganged up on to be honest. 3 African American's were saying I did something wrong and I did nothing wrong. I was a complaining customer. I was being very calm when I said this too. But no, she told me that she didn't hear me say the words "and call corporate." In conclusion I am extremely disappointed with the companies choice of employees in the city of Hemet and I've assured MOST people I know via email, text and facebook to NEVER go back. Most have agreed with me saying that Chipotle is going down hill and needs a revamp. I'm also bummed because I LOVE the food, and I went there often because it's one of the ONLY healthy places to eat in my city, also because of how I was treated by simply asking for a little more chicken and cheese I no longer want to go either. SO, I've been wrongly treated and accused of taking out the employees that work there, it's beyond wrong and I am seeking justice. There is NO reason why I shouldn't be allowed in that store. I did NOT threaten any life. She twisted my words 100% wrongly. If nothing happens I will possibly sue the store. Not because it's who I am or what I want to do, but because someone is accusing me of potentially murdering someone(s) and that is WRONG on way too many levels. I walked out of the store last night in complete shock and in tears that someone would think or say something like that to me. Someone is telling me that I threatened the life of another human being, not just one, but several. And that I am a threat to the company now?? All I wanted was some extra chicken! and suddenly I am from some gang who wants to shoot down the place????? Seriously?? This is not fair. It's unjust and I am in disbelief that I would be taken so wrongly when I was just a regular displeased costumer. Never in my life have I threaten another humans life. The ONLY time I would ever think to do that would be if they were threatening me. Period. And even then not even sure what I would do. Although the prices for this chain have certainly gone up, the popularity has increased due to the recently released documentary. The concept is great in encouraging customers to be more aware of what they put in their bodies. I have never been disappointed at any of the Chipotle locations, although so far, this location has the friendliest service. This has been one of my main lunch choices when I am working in field visiting my clients in the area. I usually go for a steak or sofritos bowl with brown rice, black beans, bell pepper and onion, a bit of all the salsas, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese. Very filling and satisfying I must say. Prices are getting a bit steep, $7.40 plus tax for a steak bowl. I cannot resist the medium rare steak though! Definitely a fan of this chain and this location! read more

I come to this chipotle frequently and it never fails that either they are out of stock of something i've ordered or i've continuously had terrible customer service. I only choose this one because of how close it is to me. Be warned that if they don't have something you order they will not offer ANY TYPE of solution instead refuse to help you and are extremely rude. Also be prepared to spend a long amount of time here seeing that they do not move with any type of urgency. This is a poorly ran facility and would not recommend this chipotle to ANYONE. read more

I go to chipotle several times a week and I always get the same thing. A few weeks back I noticed there was a few new employees they all were doing well and I believe the new manager was working as well. The food is always fresh, customer service is always great, only ones in the probably over 100 times of being there if not more have I had to wait in line for more than 10 minutes and it was only because they were doing a fundraiser and were slammed. When I walk in I am always greeted asked how my days going which is nice you're not just trying to push you through the line and not make you feel like a valued customer. My partner and I walked in around 9:15-9:20 and ordered a bowl. Our choice of meat was chicken (asked for double) however, the man helping us on the line told us that "they were out". That was a lie considering he gave a police officer in front of us fresh chicken from the back. I get it that restaurants want to put as little as possible up front around closing, but it was nowhere near closing when we ordered. We got double steak instead, but we got the skimpiest portion ever. Ridiculous. On top of that, we ordered a tortilla on the side and when we got home found out that there was no tortilla. I heard great things about chipotle on the internet and decided to give it a try. By first appearance, this place was clean to the point of medical sterility and smelled like it. The food was laid out like a Subway sandwich shop where they make your order right in front of you as you choose what elements you want. The guy next to me was shivering and had a blood stain on his shirt. Turns out guacamole is an extra charge that needs to be financed by selling a kidney on the black market. When I asked how much extra guacamole is, the lady behind the counter asked "finance, kidney or your soul?" I said, "No thank you." And moved on to my bowl contents. I asked for chicken and the guy pulled out a scooper the size of a raised truck driver's micro-penis and dropped what could maybe be described as "the essence of chicken," into my bowl with little actual chicken. I took my food home and found it rather bland without any real flavors. To make matters worse, my tummy started to growl so furiously I thought the great earthquake was upon us. I had to go #2 immediately. It was no normal #2...it was one of those #2's where you have to strip down naked and hope for the best. Before I could sit down, I dropped my phone and bent over to pick it up. Bad idea. Immediately upon bending over, an eruption began to flow so violently it reminded me of that scene in the new Top Gun movie where Maverick hits Mach 10 in his fighter jet. I was thrown into the door head first and haven't seen my dog since. The steady stream of nastiness that left my body involuntarily turned my once immaculate bathroom into a scene straight from the news where flooding caused landslides in the hills. I've boarded the bathroom up and am going to pretend like it no longer exist. On the positive side, my stomach immediately felt better afterward. I guess there Tex-Mex food...there's Mex-Mex food...and, now with chipotle, there's Colon-wrecks food. I do not advise the later. If anyone has seen my dog, Scooter, please let me know asap.
