Once again, Chipotle has saddened me with how far ALL OF THEM have fallen! I remember when Chipotle was the new kid on the block in the fast casual game and it was always sooooo exciting to eat there! After visiting 8-10 different locations around the Midwest in the past 5 years and being disappointed each and every time, I can say that Chipotle has fallen hard. This location in Highland Heights, OH is no different. To be fair, my bf and I intended to go to Poke Cleveland, located next to Chipotle, but Poke Cleveland was closed on New Years Day which we didn't know before getting there and seeing the closed sign. We were hungry and had places to be (and a budget to stay within) so we went to Chipotle to get a chicken lunch bowl (for me) and a chicken salad (for him), both of which are priced at $8.95. So for nearly $20, my boyfriend and I left still hungry, disappointed, and a little grossed out at the dirty interior. The staff was apathetic and the rice was hard and the produce was wilted and pathetic. The chicken was tough as well. The purchase also didn't get turned into points on my Chipotle app, despite me even requesting them be added after the fact so that's a bummer. Sigh... for future meals where I am not making a last minute panic decision, I'll stick to better Chipotle-like places like Qdoba and HotHead Burritos. read more

I'm writing because I'm extremely disappointed with how my visit was handled on Saturday night. Your posted hours clearly state that you're open until 10 PM, yet at 7:30 PM I was told you were refusing walk-in orders. That's over two hours before closing -- completely unacceptable for any business that claims to be open until 10. If you're going to stop serving walk in customers that early, then your posted hours are misleading and should be changed. Turning people away while the doors are open and the lights are on is a poor way to run a business and a guaranteed way to lose loyal customers. I hope management takes this seriously and corrects the issue immediately. I'd like to continue supporting local businesses, but not ones that misrepresent their service hours. read more

The chick on tortilla should've been the first person to make an impression and she was so rude. The "front line is key" is clearly not the case here. No line backing to help. This is our second week at our new office location which is right down the street from this Chipotle. My co workers and I were excited to eat at this Chipotle and were starving today so decided to give it a try. We placed an online order and my boss picked up our food. My order was totally wrong so I had to go out in the cold and have them remake my bowl. When I say the young lady who had to remake my bowl and the manager who came and took my bag were so not friendly and not customer service oriented at all is an understatement. My experience was so bad I feel like crying, we walked in a little less than 2 hours before they closed. The employees came across to me as if they couldn't have given less of a shit, inattentive and only doing the bare minimum. I asked about one of the meats, if any was left, and the employee serving me made it sound like what they had out was all they had. Then I also tried to say I wanted to do the deal with the tacos but he apparently wasn't paying attention because got no tacos started, only my entree, then I had to get back in line for the tacos. The cherry on top of the dirt sundae is that it wasn't til my food was ordered and made that I SAW SOME FRESH STEAK WAS BEING PREPARED. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!?! I WOULD'VE TAKEN STEAK!!!!!! This chipotle is a disaster, every time I'm in there they're out of several things but don't worry they don't say anything for 15 minutes until your at the counter ordering. It took me 24 minutes to get my burrito from time of ordering in person to check out, half the workers were standing around on their phones while line workers painstakingly made a burrito. The only positive is the people you get to meet in line who console each other about how bad the service is. Ridiculous. I understand it is christmas eve but I showed up at 1PM when the website said it would be closing at 3PM due to the holiday. I placed an order online and asked for extra rice, double meat. Extra meat was $6+ because it is a specialty limited time meat. I got very little on my bowl. I received normal rice. Total price for order with guacamole and small bag of chips, no drink, was over $22. What I received was worth $8. This is the ghetto-est chipotle I have ever been too. I have visited this location on numerous occasions and can say I am honestly disappointed and disgusted that I experienced having a bug in my food. As I was eating my bowl I saw an insect crawling in the sour cream and all over my bowl! Came to the chipotle on alpha, which I do often seeing I work close by. I always get the same thing but today I was in a rush and instead of making them stuff my bowl with cheese a asked for 3 sides of cheese which they normally do no problem. The guys says it's going to be an additional 1.10 for the sides of cheese so I then say forget the sides you can just put it on my bowl which they did I then go to get my beverage and when I got the ice I noticed black stuff so I emptied it and cleaned the cup. this location doesn't have any equipment for a changing station for infants. which is fine, I have ran into this issue before. I went out into the common area, found a table away from as many people as possible and began to change my child. one employee said that it was unsanitary for me to do that. I pointed out that there was nowhere else for me to do so in the establishmen. he proceeded to point it out to customers saying it was a discussing act, talking bad about me and my child to other co workers. If you don't trust my cleanliness, why don't you grab the sanitation and wipe down after a customer like you should anyways. read more
