We came here on a rainy Saturday and were relieved to find a Chipotle in an area with mostly lower end fast food chains. I was glad to see this location was very clean, tidy and well staffed. The two employees who helped me were nice, friendly and didn't rush me through. My bowl was yummy with fresh veggies and quality meat. I liked the new cauliflower rice too. Would not recommend this place. We stayed at the resort nearby so ordered chipotle bowls and tortillas on the side. When my husband brought the food I noticed right away that the bottom of the bowls were completely cold. At first I thought it just cooled since we are 8 minutes away from the place, but that was not the reason since tortillas were hot. I was hoping the food would be warm inside but the rice and chicken were completely cold and the rice was undercooked. Also the lids on the bowls were all dirty with sour cream and guacamole. If I could i would give less. Not all Chipotle s are created equal. The guacamole was dark like it had been sitting for looooooong. They did not have fajitas and I was asked to wait 20 min. My mom came here in hopes to bring back chipotle for my birthday, she has never been here before so she was not sure what to order, they told her ' make up your mind already ' then rolled there eyes when she asked for the toppings in the side. They truly made her feel terrible, the cashier even apologized and she told him ' thank you for treating me like I'm human, the bolls themselves where not up to chipotle standards, no beans very very little rice, my mother claimed they where scrapping the rice in order to fill the bowls, we asked for a side a steak and where charged for what was given below and two burritos, and they where extremely disappointing, attached pictures to share a glimps of the low standard of portion size, HONESTLY just drive to the La Quinta chipotle at least you won't be disappointed with portion size and customer service. read more

The guac on the side is supposed to be 4oz & the girl at the drive thru window had the audacity to go & weigh the guac to tell me it was 2.9oz, she bragged about how I was get .9 additional. My husband and I ordered via the website from home. We live very close by. When I arrived at the drive up window for our order right on time, the employee looked at my confirmation and told me that my order was already picked up. Since the order was for myself and my husband whom I had just left at home, I knew the order was either given away by mistake or someone scammed the restaurant. I told the lady my party had not picked it up yet and she replied accusingly, "legit it was", to which I replied "that may be so but legit it wasn't picked up by myself or my husband so you need to figure out what happened". She gave me the vibe that she wasn't going to give me my order unless I stood firm, that I was inconveniencing her, and that she didn't know what to do in this situation like call over a manager. While I waited, I called my husband on speaker phone from the car while waiting for about 10 minutes for her to return to the window now with several cars behind me waiting as well. When she finally returned with my order I said to her I can tell her the specifics of the order which I verbally did, I showed her the charge on my husband's debit card on my phone, and I was ready to show her my driver's liscence since one of the entrees was in my first name, the other my husband's, and the order was under his full name. We have the same last name. I was going to do this to prove this was my order and to encourage her and her staff to check pick up orders more carefully before handing them out. She seemed uninterested. When I returned home I tried to get a manager on the phone to share my feedback after I also discovered that my order was incorrect with the wrong size of a side and of my husband's entree was also wrong. 3 phone calls and 20 minutes on hold later, I learned Chipotle has their system set up to not talk to customers but have complaints handled either by AI on their website or a call center located far away. I am extremely disappointed in the service received and grateful I don't have some bigger issue to complain about because there was zero concern for quality of service and customer care. I try to be positive when reviewing a business and only leave reviews when they might be helpful to others. I like Chipotle and have had very positive experiences at other locations. I tried this location (Jackson St at Ave 42 - Indio) for the first time. Before driving to the location, my wife and I chose items from their online menu. We chose the Whole30 Salad Bowl and the Keto Bowl, both of which are the first and second items listed on their online menu for this location. I drove to the location, waited in line and placed my order. The young lady taking my order had no idea what I was ordering. She turned and called out to another employee behind her and then to the employee working the register. She came back and asked me what was in each bowl and then told me those items were from the online menu. Frustrated, I pulled up the first item on my phone and realized this was not going to be an easy order, prep, pay and go situation. Since she was unfamiliar with either item, I knew the food would not turn out as pictured on the website. I decided it was too much effort for me to tell the Chipotle employee how to prepare a bowl advertised on their website. I chose another option for dinner. I'm mostly frustrated with the issue that an item can apparently be ordered online and delivered from this location and the employee preparing the food can magically have the knowledge to prepare these items for the online order but not have the knowledge to prepare the items if you show up in person. Weird! I hope the manager at this location can straighten this issue out for future encounters. read more

Worst chipotle ever. I have been to this location four times since moving to the area and by far the worst location I have ever been to. All four times they've been out of the fajita veggies and at least one other item, Plus everything else is low and the counter is dirty. The staff is also rude and immature acting! Very disappointed in my order today. Normally my orders are always accurate when I order through the mobile and pick it up, but this time is different. I ordered a burrito and requested what I wanted. Came home and looked at my burrito and wondering why It looked smaller. So I came across a couple of bites and they missed on mostly everything except for the chicken and rice but everything else from cheese, sour cream etc. I don't know what happened there, but looks like I won't be ordering my mobile orders in north Indio. I see this location has bad reviews which has shocked me because every time I go there the workers are over the top kind and helpful with my allergy requests. They pretty much charge you $10 for a burrito that has more tortilla than it does the meat they promote on TV. The brisket was dry & tasted old. Same thing with the chicken. The only thing that tasted decent was the barbacoa. They stuff the burrito with a bunch of beans & rice to make it seem like your getting this great big burrito but in reality you can barely taste the meat inside it. Then to top it off you got these young kids working with faces like they don't want to be there. Super Unwelcoming. Never going back to this place. 0 stars. Management needs to step it up! read more
