Pretty bad spot for many reasons: 1. Outdated, Tiny drive-thru (under a pitched roof), and the parking lot makes it difficult to get in and out. 2. Tables, floors, windows, and drive-thru window shelf are always dirty. 3. Every time I've had fries here, they were cooked in very old, burnt oil - and came out dark and nasty-tasting. I've only been inside once and the condition of the place made me never want to go back. I would recommend avoiding this location. I not an epicurean, but I do know when someone has been messing with my Wienerschnitzel. The regular dogs are different at this location, #047, in Indio. The dog's casing has a snap, that is not normally present, and there is an artificial liquid-smoky aftertaste to the dog, not wholly unpleasant, but definitely wrong. Also, I always have onions on my chili dog, and instead of being minced, these yellow onions were very roughly chopped, so I had large chunks of onions, which I find disruptive to the whole Chili Dog experience. These changes alter the Wienerschnitzel Chili Dog experience from sublime ecstasy to ... just another dog. It hurts my heart to say - Three Stars. Patty is the absolute worst "manager" and drive thru cashier ever. horrible tone and even worse manners. We tried to order the chili dog promotion. apparently, only 8 per transaction or car ok cool, i guess. as my passenger was trying to order, she began to yell at us, ONLY 8 PER ORDER!!! my passaglnger stated that he didn't want chili dogs, just a regular order, THEN DO YOU WANT TO ADD ON OR NOT!?!?! this became a screaming match as she kept yelling over him, and we just canceled the order and wanted to leave, she then proceeds to press against the window what looked like an obscene gesture. Stopped by lest night to pick up for the family. In speaking with the cashier, who was extremely friendly by the way, I found out they are under new ownership. And it shows in the customer service and the food I purchased. I had stopped going to this restaurant some time ago but decided to try again since the grandbaby wanted a chili dog. I'm glad I did. This has got to be one of the worst locations I've ever visited. And it started from the manager "Evette" all the way to the servers on the floor. I asked if I could do two separate orders due to the fact that my passenger was going to pay his own order. She insisted that they couldn't take two separate orders even though there were no other cars behind us. ( not that it should matter) as I drove up to pay all the servers were making comments and rolling their eyes at us. I nicely asked why they couldn't order another order she said they couldn't because "of the fair"? I mentioned I would leave a bad review and she shrugged and said "go ahead". Hopefully someone in management reads this and addresses it. This store is in a prime location and could be the best and fast food drive through in the area. I reached out to Uber eats but because I cannot give a picture of the dish that I threw away after I had metal in my mouth, they could not do anything about it. I hope that this review does not go on deaf ears. I completely understand things happen. We must ensure that all guests are safe and that we continually maintain health and safety under all aspects. This was a very nice Wienerschnitzel. Sometimes, when we're doing a quick trip between Phoenix to So. Cal, you just want some food that you can easily eat in the car. Well here I am almost a year to the day after leaving my last review. Any changes you may ask? Yes!! They have actually gotten worse. Ordered a pastrami sandwich..no mustard and a pastrami hot dog no cheese with a order of fries and a chocolate shake. Waited in line for 17 minutes to order and then another 16 mi nutes before we.got to the window. Got the food and parked in the lot to hopefully enjoy the "meal". Sandwich had extra.mustard and the meat was brittle? Yes, dry and brittle.Plus it was a nice dark maroon color that resembled boiled beets.The hot dog had extra cheese and so much mustard that it dripped put of the bun. French fries? Undercooked,cold and limp. The shake? Happy to say it was just as bad as all of the above. Maybe I'll try again next year. I placed my order of the two chili dog combo with a ice tea, I watched the girl get ice in front of her and exit the building walk behind my truck and fill the cup up in a storage room across the drive thru.
