The service was no bueno :( I normally don't go out of my way to do this. But really felt the need here to make a review because the service was so bad. I pretty much felt rushed out of Chipotle as fast as possible. Ordered my food from the girl serving. Didn't say much, just served the food and that's all. Then when getting to the check out the guy at the register processed my gift card, and literally just threw the sides in the bag. Then when I asked for a water cup, the threw that in the bag right in front of my face instead of just handing it to me. Cmon guys?! I know it's a job, and maybe even your guys' first jobs, but can you guys at least appreciate being there and having customers to serve meals? Let's be better by doing better. read more

Never had a bowl this small, I am outraged. I went home and excavated every piece of chicken with chopsticks and found only 9 little cubes of chicken, and that's counting the little shreds. Chicken did taste good though, smoky flavor and tender so it's a shame they're so stingy. The front line was out of corn, and instead of refilling from the back or from the online order station, the employee drizzled corn juice and a dozen kernels onto my bowl. I ate a spoonful of the whole bowl but I counted the corn in the photo to prove this isn't hyperbole. Also, I got 2 half scoops of rice, I feel like it was always supposed to be full scoops? I waited to post this because I reached out to HR directly and haven't heard back... I've been a loyal Chipotle customer for years and the incident that happened today has me reconsidering ever spending another penny in your establishment. I walked in wearing a red Trump t shirt and ordered a brisket burrito. The first gentleman was nice and put on the brown rice, black beans, brisket, and fajita veggies and passed it to the next girl working on the line. She was about 5'8" tall, about 200 pounds, and Latina. She glared at me, clearly upset by the t shirt I was wearing. I said "mild and hot salsa please" and she put a regular scoop of mild salsa on as would be normal. However, she then scooped the hot salsa very deep in the bin and poured an exorbitant amount of very spicy salsa onto the burrito, completely covering up all the meat, beans, rice, and fajita veggies, leaving it looking like it was just a pile of super hot salsa and a tortilla. I said "excuse me, are you serious?" And she looked me dead in the eyes and said "that's the normal portion". I said "No it's not, you can't even see anything except the hot sauce it looks like a hot sauce burrito." At this point a guy came over who I assume is the manager, and looked at the burrito and said flatly, "that's a normal portion." Now I've been coming to chipotle for at least 15 years and have never had this insane amount of hot salsa dumped on my burrito. It was very clearly out of spite for my t shirt. I told the "manager" I'd like a new burrito and he said alright and grabbed the other one and quickly removed it so I couldn't document the situation with pictures. As I stood in line in front of the salsa girl waiting for the burrito to be re made the customer behind me, clearly not a fan of my shirt either leaned toward the salsa girl and said "I like what you did to his burrito" thus confirming the ridiculousness of the situation. My burrito was then brought to the salsa area again and the "manager" put on a normal amount of salsa. While he was doing that, the salsa girl glared at me and mouthed out the words "Fuck you and fuck Trump." I paid for my burrito and left. This girl discriminated against me and that's a very big problem. read more

I decided to throw it away when I got home I did not feel like eating it. When a call back to the store and she said corporate made that decision to sell it. I was so surprised. when I asked for an area manager, she said they will call me back so let's wait and see.. also the host was Twinkie Ann and her service at the cashier was not pleasant at all. This place used to be jumpin' all day long in this plaza. Now it's just one long line where you hop to the next SD6ft circle before you reach the front counter to point for your order. The seemingly always "temp closed" tables are where we awkwardly loiter while we wait for our food or the back up to dissipate at the cashier. The way this is now arranged, it's more convenient to go to a drive through that can have this downpat in ordering, because the parking and getting out are drawbacks now that we can't eat inside. The courtyard outside is paltry ambiance now. They do have their 3rd party takeout shelf very efficiently arranged tho, as this seems like their main business now. The food quality is consistent here; you have to ask for cutlery to be added at the register. read more

Out of all the Chipotles in Irvine, this location will consistently serve you the smallest burritos. So the only solution is to stand in line and call out the workers as they try to give you a half scoop of everything. Then they make excuses that it's easier to wrap the burrito when there's less stuff inside it. This location needs to be shut down. read more

I see this Chipotle location does not have the best reviews but honestly I am not sure why. I live locally and I come to this location often. Every time I come I get great customer service. The food is delicious just as every other Chipotle location. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot so finding a good place to park is never an issue. The air conditioning inside the location keeps everything nice and cool so it is comfortable when you are eating your food. Honestly I do not have any negatives about this location and I will continue to eat at this location as much as I possibly can read more

We went to pick up our food from the pickup area. Every Chipotle I've been to, the pickup area is self service (you grab your own inside). Because of this, I assumed the same thing for this location. When we did so, the girl in charge of the pickup was extremely rude. She gave us an extreme amount of attitude and told us to not touch other peoples orders, handed us our bag extremely aggressively and stomped away. It was the rudest interaction I've ever had at a chipotle. We did not treat her badly or give any harsh words so I don't understand why we were treated like that so unnecessarily. Horrible location. This is the absolute WORST Chipotle. This location seems to be the only location that we consistently experience issues. We even resorted to going to the Chipotle on Culver/Irvine Blvd. for a while but started going back to the Woodbury location because it's closer for us. After finding out that we had a missing item for a second time many years ago, we've made it part of our pick up routine to open our order before leaving the restaurant. Over the past few years, we've had to tell the staff that we were missing chips, chocolate milk, extra tortillas that cost $ now, and expensive guac. Today, however, was probably the worst experience we've had. I placed an order through the app for pick up at 7:20. I arrive at 7:22 to see no pick up orders in the to-go shelves and no less than 10 people waiting for their pick up orders. At 7:35, I see a line form to ask the to-go staff when their order will be ready. I get in line, ask the staff about my order, and am told my order is coming up. At 7:50 - 30 minutes AFTER my order was supposed to be ready - my name is finally called out. I grab my order, check and see my son's kids meal, chips, and milk and my bowl and chips are in the bag. I get home and unpack dinner for my son and me. I open my son's kids meal and it's missing the protein. My son's Chicken Kids Build Your Own was missing the main protein - chicken - listed in the name of the menu item! Just unbelievable. I very much do NOT recommend this location for anyone looking to get their Chipotle fix. Go to the Culver/Irvine Blvd. location if you want a higher chance of your order being correct. read more

Chipotle surprisingly avoided everything that I ordered, even the protein. I paid $5 more for garlic steak, and turned out to get a regular steak. Every sauce that I wanted was not in the bowl. Inpatient and dry employees and dryer food, it's cold at times and they just seem like they want to throw you out. I've had days in Jobs like that before where I didn't want to be there but I still gave amazing customer service. Love having a Chipotle right down the street from my house! Been ordering here multiple times per month during COVID. Due to the pandemic, you can't eat indoors right now but can still order in store but have to eat it outside. The best way to order is via their mobile app and love that you can customize each ingredient in your meal. You can pick up your order off the take out self which is conveniently located right near the entrance so you're in and out in a jiffy. My go to's are the carnitas burrito bowl w/ corn, (extra) fajita and a side of the infamous spicy red sauce. I usually throw in a bag of chips too cuz they're so addicting!
