Wish I could give this place a 0 star review. I've tried it a handful of times since moving to Jax Beach and every time I was disappointed. The staff must not care at all. Constantly getting twice as much beans & rice than meat also too much pico & sour cream ruining the whole meal. Today they surprised me with a new one- the tortilla on my burrito ripped when he was rolling it so he decided to put a second tortilla on top of the ripped one. I had to ask for a bowl because I was not going to eat a burrito with 2 tortillas. Definitely not worth the money getting such consistently bad food. Eat here pretty often, ordered on uber eats since I couldn't get out of the office and was shocked to see how empty my bowl was. This will really ruin someones day, especially when you are paying an extra fee on uber eats. There was maybe 3 pieces of normal sized chicken in here and giant chunks of onion. This store is consistently bad, but especially at to go orders. This is our most recent experience. Bowls only half full, lettuce on one bowl even when it clearly says no lettuce on the label, no chips (because they are "out") but didn't get refunded. This is the only chipotle near our house which is unfortunate because we do love the chain as a whole but this specific location should be torn to the ground and rebuilt from the ground up starting with ownership and management. read more

I've been to a lot of Chipotle's over the years. I've now been to this location a couple of times at lunch time. Overall, the food has been good and consistent. The restaurant is reasonably clean. I don't think that they have a dedicated person wiping down tables or sweeping up the floors - at least when I was there it was clean. Portions are decent. I've gotten more at some locations. Probably the worst chipotle I've been to. Rice wasn't cooked thoroughly. Waited like 2 minutes for any of the employees to even acknowledge me at the register, no lids either. Place looked pretty dirty too. I try not to be too tough on food service places cos I've worked food service but this is pretty crazy. Went to Chipotle last Thursday around 6 pm, haven't been to one in over two years. Was looking forward to the fresh guacamole. When it got my turn to order I noticed how messy the the prep tables were in the kitchen area with cheese, and other assorted items just laying on top of the tables, as well as the floor looking like a food fight had broken out. To me this is a red flag at any restaurant. My instinct was to leave and not order, but I decided to order and as my burrito was going down the prep line I noticed how messy the counter was from employees spooning ingredients on customers food, nothing looked as it had been wiped off, with sour cream, salsa,cheese etc still on the counter. When I got home the more I thought about the mess and the kitchen, I threw my dinner in the trash, not worth getting sick over. I notified corporate and they apologized, and offered me a two for one burrito in the future, yeah right. read more

I've never written a review so if that tells ya anything. It's the worst I've been to in Jacksonville. Their chips are always WAYYY too salty and I LOVE salt. Their guacamole is mid and they only have it like half the time. Most recently, I ordered ahead of time and got a coke. I got there and found they were out of ice so I asked the girl at the To-Go station if I could swap it out for one in the bottles. The girl rudely tells me they're not allowed to do that and immediately puts her head down to dismiss me as I stand there. I mention that since they're the ones out of ice, I've had chipotle (theirs and other locations do that before) go this for me before. Who wants warm coke? She then walks to the fridge without even glancing at me and says "we won't do it again" and turns away, handing lame turn coke. If you're gonna make the drive, go to the one on Beach Blvd. the service AND food is way better. One time, the Jax beach location made my veggie bowl before telling me they were out of guac (it makes the bowl fr) so I drove to the beach Blvd one and asked if I could just have some since jax beach was out and not only did the manager give me some guac, he also offered to give me a side of chips and guac for free. Don't go here if you're worried about sanitation. The girl who just gave me my guacamole and chips wiped her nose that was exposed above her mask, on the wrist of her glove, right before touching the spoon she dished the guacamole out with... oh, and then started rolling the burrito for the guy behind me. Wow what a lazy lazy store. Sad miserable employees that seem like they need there shoe strings taken or they'll commit suicide. Come an hour before closing and they're almost out of everything. No chips. On top of it they can't take cash unless you have "exact" my order came out to 8.55. I had cash. I simply said here's 9 you can keep the change for the tip jar or in the draw. Customer service was awful. I walked in and no one came to greet me or to serve me. There was a lady making her own chipotle bowl and walked away. Some young tall guy came and said they weren't taking orders and the lady making her own bowl (pretty positive you're not supposed to do that) said that she thinks they were supposed to take orders and he went to ask and came back saying they're only doing online. Since moving to Jacksonville I've been disappointed with the quality, at chipotle in ohio I would eat at one two to three times a week. My husband and I have been eating at chipotle since summer of 2001. There is definitely a big difference between the restaurants here compared to there. My first night in town I came to chipotle to eat. Like most chipotles, it was clean and the tables were all maintained and wiped down. I did come after normal dinner hours though. I got a burrito bowl with chicken. Was it a little light on the meat than most chipotles serve? Yes... Did I WANT more meat? Of course! Did I NEED more meat and toppings? Probably not :(. Horrible service ! Apparently chicken quesadilla can only be ordered from the app now. My husband had to pull up the app while in line ordering because they refused to make it unless ordered through it. He showed the guy working there that the app says there's no chicken available, but he can clearly see it right in front of him. Lord.... First of all, I get it. It's 9 pm, it's late but I don't expect EVERY table to be dirty and covered in food. They took forever to give me my online order that was placed 10 mins before I actually got there. The first 10 mins I was inside waiting, I was given a bag without being even asked if it was my order (it wasn't) and gave it to the person it was actually for. I asked about my order and they haven't even begun to work on it (I had 3 meals), even though there was literally 4 workers just standing and talking. I waited an additional 30+ mins for the meals, mind you, I'm working late and this is me and my team's break time before we go back to work. I and once I received them, i opened the bag and found that one of the sauces were recklessly thrown and spilled everywhere. Not only that but we were missing paid items (guac, cheese), and on top of that, every order was wrong. One of my coworkers doesn't eat pork (religious reasons) and one of them was carnitas. Unwanted toppings were added to other meals. No napkins, utensils. Nothing was labeled. Don't go here unless you want everything wrong. Really disappointing... Worst experience read more

I got possibly the most sad looking burrito bowl ever. It was barely half way full. For 7$ I'm expecting a whole bowl. The girls at the counter did NOT have it together. I had two different people ask me about beans, and salsa. Keep in mind there's maybe 10 people in here. It's not busy, no line. And behind the counter is pure chaos.
