Ordered a kids barbacoa quesadilla online. They gave me two empty tortillas. No meat in them. Nothing. Rice was smaller than a golf ball. Beans fit on one spoon. No chips. Always have to ask for the drink. But how does one prepare the whole kids meal box and not wonder why there's no quesadilla for a quesadilla and why there's no meat. This place has gone down hill major the past 4 months. Portions are skimpy. Just ordered food at 8:30 and they were already out of numerous things. They had about 45 stacked up dirty 3rd pans sitting on the counter. No napkins, no forks. They still have an hour and a half of production and probably can make about 5 more orders and them be skimpy at that. There's always people playing around and no customer service. Follow up review. This location has to be the most inefficient chipotle I've ever been to. They ran out of burrito bowls at 7 PM. They refused to accommodate anyone in the long line with the bowls that they had set aside for the mobile orders. Every time, it's something. I want to preface this by saying I am not one to write negative reviews or speak negatively about restaurants. I respect the restaurant business and understand its challenges. However the experience delivered by this chipotle location this evening was so sub-par I felt this review to be necessary. The lack of management & resulting lack of customer service was overwhelmingly apparent. The restaurant was a mess, the kitchen appeared to be a mess, there was no coordination amongst chipotle team members, and chipotle team members were generally rude or careless. There was no evidence that a single employee in the restaurant took accountability for or had any concern about any standard of quality. Multiple meat and topping selections sat empty or nearly empty, food stations had other food items in them that appeared to have fallen in haphazardly, & the service counter had loose/miscellaneous food scattered throughout. A quick example of the service experienced: When we requested white rice, the employee working the meat and rice station laughed and said we'd be waiting a while. This same employee under delivered on portion size (a stereotypical chipotle complaint, I know. But in all honesty, small portions) and rudely responded when we requested additional rice & beans. He would also swear quietly (but audibly) when he'd encounter a food station that was empty, saying we couldn't order it ILO communicating with his team members for a fresh batch. This trend continued all the way down the line to when we ordered chips. Overall, I wanted to convey my general disappointment in this experience. Hopefully this review (and the many others on here) work their way up to somebody at Chipotle who can address the lack of attention & ownership this location is receiving. Not asking for a Michelin star restaurant, just a mid-level, average experience. read more

Fans of Chipotle may want to give this location a hard pass. We've tried to give it another chance just because it is nice to have variety at the beaches, but good gracious--they just can't seem to get out of their own way. Bless their hearts! Literally every time but once the chips have been disappointing. It's bad enough you have to add them to an order but on a couple of occasions you'd swear they make chips once a month and it was the last day of the month -- never had a more stale or chewy tortilla. Also, the concept of spreading around the salt seems a foreign concept. Literally one or two chips are so highly salted you'd think it was for the whole bag, especially since the rest of the chips have no salt whatsoever. We even gave the manager a heads up on one or two occasions, but it's still a recurring problem. Talking over a span of 6-9 months. Be prepared to find that they frequently run out of chicken during the dinner hour. The last time they were out of white rice as well. Otherwise, well, it's Chipotle, but I'd call this location Chipotle with a hangover. read more

The food prep counter was full of spilled food. The tables that were empty had food on them and there was plenty of staff to clean. The line chef walked by us and stop to adjust her pants or her shoes with her gloves on and then went to the stove and continued to serve up the food without changing her gloves. I came in at 8:00 at night and they were completely out of chicken and steak. The only other choice I had was barbacoa. When I got home to eat the bowl the meat was all on piece and it was pretty much all fat. I was very disappointed to the point I threw it straight in the trash. Went here for dinner tonight. It was relatively quiet. There were 7 employees behind the counter. The first employee behind the counter was the only one who seemed to care. He was very pleasant, attentive and kind. The remaining 6 employees on the line were miserable. The young lady at the cash register was the worst. She had no business talking to patrons. When we sat down in the dining room, we could not find a single table that was clean. We were surprised that not 1 of the 7 employees could care one bit to come out behind the counter and wipe down tables. read more

This Chipotle location should really get one star because the store management isn't doing an adequate job of making sure they have the appropriate inventory. They're constantly running out of items. For example, recently we placed an order and they were out of chicken, cheese, sour cream, rice all at one time. Unfortunately, this isn't a one-off issue. I don't understand.. if the store manager is doing their job, they shouldn't be out of things every time we order. This isn't rocket science. Now, on to the reason I gave it four stars: the staff of teenagers/young adult employees being left to take the brunt of the angry customers. Each employee handles complaints with grace and professionalism, taking ownership and consistently apologizing. First I want to say that I have NEVER gone out of my way to write a bad review.. typically if I have an issue with a restaurant, I just don't return... but I need to warn you all... please don't waste your time going here. I recently had surgery so I had to DoorDash my order. I ordered a burrito bowl with white rice, sofritas, veggies, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. I figured because I was ordering online the portion size would be small-fine. I know that's Chipotle's style. Well my food arrives, and there is SO MUCH sour cream (not something I'd usually complain about but there was enough for 4 bowls) however this is my lunch so I scrape some of and began to eat. Little to no lettuce or sofritas, but the rice was a decent ratio to normal.... But my bowl was mostly veggies and sour cream. I looked online and realized I should've eaten McDonald's before this location because the rating is higher at MCDONALDS !!! I'm so disappointed. read more

As a huge chipotle advocate I have never felt more bamboozled, hoodwinked, embarrassed, and absolutely betrayed by this Chipotle location. First of all when I walk in it's a bunch of brain dead teenagers working that do not give a hoot or a holler about this job. They skimped on every single item like they were getting paid to not give me any food and when I asked for more rice it was like I asked them to do bend over backwards. The cuck chair in front of the soda machine was awesome as it was just covered in ice...didn't know it was snowing in Jacksonville.
