Smallest burrito I've ever received from any chipotle, anywhere. I watched the worker give extra meat and beans for free to the person ahead of me in line. When it was my turn, the same worker barely gave me half a scoop of anything. Meanwhile, they served the approximately 15 people that were in line while I waited and maybe five others that came in after I did before I got my food.... so somebody that got in line and ordered their food approximately 40 minutes after I did got their food at the same time that I did, maybe they should put a little more emphasis on to go orders! So...visited this location today while in town spending time with my aunt and she wanted to come here for lunch today. Let me be the first to say the customer service is non existence. The staff is completely rude!! No one greeted us when we walked in and they had bags of chips lined up across the food prep area where they make the actual bowls/burritos (never seen this done before it's usually at a prep station behind them). Secondly, when I asked if someone could take our order all 5 of them looked pissed and the younger black guy began slinging the bags of chips of the prep area. He was not listening to my aunt as she was telling him what she wanted in her bowl and she didn't want large servings. The eye rolling and sighs and basically giving her what he wanted to grab instead of actively listening and being friendly was too much for him. At this point I requested a manager who came out the back and asked what the issue is. When I began to explain to him the service we had been receiving he didn't say anything or even acknowledge our concerns. I told him I did not want that guy making my food so he in turn did. When paying customers enter your establishment friendly and greeting employees and are met with attitudes and throwing food when making our orders is unacceptable. I will never step foot into this location when I'm in town again. Save your money and make your own chipotle bowl at home trust me it's not easy. Oh and to top it off the restaurant was not that clean the eating area was a mess which is why we opted for to go orders. The one star is for the fact our food was at least warm and didn't taste bad. Please stop asking if someone wants queso on their order, when you charge extra for it. Most people don't realize and it's just a way to pad the total cost. You don't ask: guacamole? This chipotle was very bad. I am typically a fan but this location was not good. They were out of everything, meats, veggies, rice... how are you out of rice? And it was so dirty, they had three people in there with no customers and it looked like they had had a food fight in the back. There was dried bean juice, meat, veggies sauce all over the counters empty pans and I won't even talk about the soda fountain area. They were all mostly nice but I saw a gem pick stuff up of the floor and not change their gloves or wash their hands. They put their hands under their aprons and didn't change gloves or wash they hands and their aprons looked like they had been worn several times. It was the first time I had been to this chipotle and I found myself in awe at the horrible state of the line and the dinning room. They need some serious leadership here. read more

We have been disappointed in Chipotle's service for a while. Their pick up is very slow and we are often missing parts of our order. Today takes the cake. They were out of several toppings, yet we still paid the same. Plus the store was very dirty, from the drink station, the tables, the floor, and even the counters they were cooking on. When we finally got our food, the lid to the kids meal was very dirty symbolizing what the rest of the restaurant looked like. After crunching on the rice, we threw most of the food away. Chilpolte is one of our favorite places to eat. We drove an hour to eat in this restaurant since it is close to home and it was a total failure. The sign entering states masks are required and yet the manager and one other employee were not wearing one and one server wore his below his chin. There were only three costumers in line and it took twenty minutes to be served. No one working cared to serve us in a timely manner. All were visiting and discussing the bowl of rice our initial server spilled earlier in the afternoon. She left to clean it up and with two other guests stood in line for ten minutes. We had to wait for chicken to be prepared, the guacamole had a brown layer on top, we received two napkins, one fork and one cup for a party of two. It was a disaster in which we hope others will not endure. A rating of 1 was generous. read more

I have had countless visits to this chipotle. It's either a hit or miss if they get my order correct or not. This will definitely be the last time I go to this Chipotle. I had put in an order to be picked up at 1 o'clock. I show up in the order is sitting on the shelf waiting for me. I pick up the bag and realized that the bottom is not even warm at all. I get back to work and open up my food and they gave me the wrong bowl. Not to mention the proportion they gave me couldn't even feed a small child. This is unacceptable. The bag I received my food in even had my receipt with what I ordered on it. How does this happen not only once, but on different occasions? I will not be returning to this store. My husband and I want to thank the entire staff at Chipotle in Jefferson City! We had them cater our daughters wedding reception for 275 people and they did a spectacular job! They told us it would be ready at the designated time and it was! Now, let me tell you that was a lot of food so I can't imagine the preparations it took to put all of this together but they did it! They were very professional! We needed two vehicles to transport all of the food and they helped load all of it along with us! The food was fantastic and all of our guest were very pleased! I really like chipotle when you get a good burrito. The problem I always have is they short you on the meat every time. I was in late Sat night after working a show and thought it sounded good so my wife went in and ordered us a couple of burritos. When we got home I opened mine and started to eat it sure enough a bunch of beans and rice so i opened up and could hardly find the meat. I wished they would measure the meat so you got the same each time. They just tong a bit and throw it in if there isn't very much and you as about it, they ask if you want to pay more. I don't seem to have this problem at other Chipotle's just the one by my house in jefferson city, It is always hit or miss. and lately it has been more of a miss. Its too bad because the food is good just not ever the same, more often than not it is short on meat. read more

When they closed Back Yard Burger I was disappointed; however, when I was back in Jeff City and saw that they had opened a Chipotle I was very happy. Some of my friends bitch about Chipotle and how their chips suck and this-or-that but I am a big fan. I love that their meat is of top quality and that you get a fairly nice portion for the price. Last year they didn't lower prices they just cut-back on the portion size. In fairness to this location that was a restaurant wide thing, not just here. I love their Carnitas and Chicken. My friends like the vegan bowl. Their guacamole is good for a chain too. I don't think their chips are the best but it still kicks the shit out of Taco Bell. (not REAL Mexican food, just FYI) But, when you are shit-face drunk at 0100 in the morning I guess your taste buds aren't too discerning and then again, Chipotle isn't open at that hour. :( read more

This store was decently busy went in during what I would call some what of a rush but nothing extraordinary in comparison to most chipotle I have been to. To start of my experience store seemed clean and well taken care of until I get up to order. One gentleman in the middle keeps telling his coworkers "we gotta go fast" "you gotta be faster" meanwhile he's sloping things all over the place. I then proceeded to ask for light hot sauce and was given mild sauce despite my multiple attempts to stop him. Then he slapped hot sauce on and proceeded to roll my burrito up in such a sloppy manner that had I chose to eat it there would be no way it would stay together. On top of that he was in such a rush to write what my burrito was that he poked the sharpie through the foil and didn't even offer to fix it. I had to go back inside once I confirmed that the marker did go through the burrito. There is a way to be fast and neat. read more
