Stopped here for some lunch today. I've worked in customer service and as a service manager at Chipotle before (not as this location), and the food was excellent!!! My bowl was delicious. However, the employees need to fix their attitudes. Even if you're having a bad day or a mood, you are paid to serve the customer. I was polite, said please and thank you. First of all, got no welcome/"hi, what can I get started for you?", but instead the girl looked at me with a bad glare and waited for me to speak first. She did not say one word when asking for rice and beans. No word while serving me. I don't know if she's having a bad day or just works to work, but I was turned off. When I asked for extra rice, she gave me a quarter size dropping. I know what extra rice is and the serving portions. When I asked for a full scoop, she got mad. Then proceeded to slam the utensils when scooping the beans and meat. My dad ordered a bowl after me too, and meat fell on the counter, she took her hand and put it back in the bowl. Not only is there covid, but food safety. Some people may not care, but I know the counters do not get cleaned every minute or second. When my dad asked for a new bowl, she started glaring and slamming the new bowl. My dad just went with the original one because she looked angry. Anyways, I just hope the manager is able to see this feedback and correct the behavior, as this is not part of the Chipotle culture and definitely not welcome customer service. read more

Our daughter loves chipotle and they are lucky!! Every location is different and this one is does not live up to our location by home. The service was not up to par and they even served fajita vegetables that were not cooked. I would keep driving or go to another restaurant in the area. read more

Absolute worst Chipotle ever!! Their kitchen floor was dirty, there was an excess of dropped food in the serving area, dining area was not cleaned at all, trash cans were over filled and not emptied, the soda fountain area was dirty and not cleaned, bathrooms were horrendous and the outside sitting area was pretty much all of the above. Food was good. 1 star because last time we went here (more than two years ago) the women's restroom soap was full but broken. This time, today, the women's restroom soap was still full but broken. Waited 30 minutes on a Sunday at 8:30 PM. When we got to the front one of the servers announced "we have no guacamole, sour cream, vegetables, chips, tomatoes, onions, salad dressing, and chicken. Seems they just suddenly ran out of half the menu options all at once. My wife wanted a salad so she got one with only half of the items she would normally have ordered and was charged full price! Would have been considerate if they told everyone earlier about the shortages and give a discount on orders placed. But no consideration was given and no apology was offered. read more

I LOVE that there is a Chipotle at the Tejon Ranch rest stop because most of the rest stops along the 5 freeway do not have Chipotles. This one is also quite different from the usual Chipotle locations because it's much bigger, and has different types of seating. Usually they just have booths and tables, but this one has interesting bar-type seating near the ordering station. Unfortunately, most people do not eat in this area as it is right next to where the line forms and is just a crowded area in general. The line can get long pretty quickly at this Chipotle, but it moves relatively quickly so it's not absolutely unbearable. The workers are efficient and speedy. 4 stars for being one of the best places to eat at the Tejon Ranch stop! read more

This chipotle never has dressing made for it salad bowls when it's doors open at 10:30am and or even at 11:30 am. There's are alot of warehouses workers in the part that early and would like to eat here but they open at 10:30 instead of 10am, then when people do go in small stuff like dressings are even made until who knows when. This is the second time I passed by this place to eat and they are consistent but not in a very good way. The food is way too salty. I would highly suggest to tone down on the salt because it can always be added later. Hence on both occasions o could not eat the food. I couldn't have it replaced because on both occasions I ordered "to go" and ate it later one I go situated on the highway. DO NOT EAT HERE. It was the nastiest chipotle I've ever been too, if it's so busy and hard to keep clean, then a dedicated cleaning staff should be hired. If the restaurant, and bathrooms were that disgusting I don't even want to think about what the kitchen area looks like. I ordered my food ahead of time, so unfortunately I wasn't able to just walk out and go somewhere else. I paid $40 plus tipped the staff, and they just tossed my food so sloppily into the tray, not to mention it was so soggy at the bottom like it was sitting for awhile which is weird because when I got there it wasn't even sitting on the ready self. They need to chill out on the seasoning because this was the saltiest chipotle I've ever had. At this point I was starving and didn't want to waste $40, and still have a few hours drive ahead of me, but I can already feel my stomach getting queasy, thank god I only ate 1/4 and tossed the rest. I hope the rest of my night goes well. I want to state that the girls restroom had piss all over the floor and god knows what else, and my boyfriend said the mens was the same. 1. The people taking our order were rude and seemingly confused by our requests. 2. Our decision to ask for some ingredients to be placed on the side resulted in an up-charge. 3. A large family arrived 40 minutes before closing time. The staff had already cleaned the larger tables and many of the chairs. When the family tried to sit at the only tables large enough to accommodate their party, the staff rudely made them move and made them return the chairs to the "clean" pile. I had a chicken bowl and the chicken turned out to be a little chewy. I don't think I'll have the chicken anymore as it doesn't taste that great. But I'll definitely try other options such as the veggie bowl option. They are rice, beans, guacamole, and salsa are still pretty tasty and could probably go perfectly fine without any meat. I have found it to be fairly difficult to write reviews about chain restaurants, especially of big chains like Chipotle. What really makes one different from the other? They're designed to all look the same, taste the same (the food, not the building itself - don't go around licking things, you might get sick), work the same and yes, even smell the same. Usually I would stray away from reviewing this kind of place as to avoid repetitiveness as we have all read the bigger-than-your-face-super-yummy-for-not-too-expensive-burritos reviews but one thing stands this place out from any other Chipotle: It's location, the problems it faces because of these problems and most importantly, how they deal with them. My family home is in Sacramento and I go to school and live in San Diego. As a result, I make the drive to and from often and have become pretty familiar with all of the main stops along the way. This, the Tejon Ranch center is one of my favorites and has become a regular on my drive. Apparently everyone else likes it too. This exit is a main hub for travelers and it has been super busy every time I have gone through. The last time I ate at this Chipotle, I waited in a 27 person line (I counted) which at any other Chipotle would be absolutely ridiculous and would result in an awful wait time but not here! The workers at this location have become accustomed to a non-stop flow of customers and in a stress free way. I was able to get through a 27 person line with a tasty burrito and a smile from my burrista (barista for burritos, get it?!?) and get back on the road in about 20 minutes! This Chipotle gets a solid 4.5 stars from me for their great customer service and I would recommend this location to anyone driving through the area. read more

This was THE WORST location I have ever been to. We were in the way back from LA when my husband and I decided to stop and grab dinner on our way home back to Bakersfield. We had an online mobile order which we itemized for our bowls. I ordered 1 vegetarian bowl which means NO meat. My husband ordered a chicken burrito...this was about a 35 minute away from home. By the time we reach home I open my bowl and there is pieces of chicken in my bowl as well as them adding tomato which I modified saying no tomato. Then realized my husbands burrito didn't have guacamole in it but I was charged that as well. This location is not able to be reached because when you call it doesn't connect to the location rather to "chat" with someone online. Listen up Chipotle: we are NOT ROBOTS. But paying customers and the employees here seem like they are behind prison bars...for some reason they have the worst attitude as well as do not care for customer perception. Yes they are located in the area which it gets busy. Then simply quit, please don't bring your bitter attitude towards paying customers who simply would like their food in a nice kind manner. THIS LOCATION is a disgraceTejon Ranch and management should be aware...worst chipotle in all of California, do not go here, in fact rather drive an extra hour if you have to..never did I get a refund or a replacement of my order. Me & DH stopped here while driving back from LA. He's not a Chipotle fan and I think it's because their food is healthier than "traditional" Mexican food. Desiring a break from In-N-Out, we decided to give Chipotle a try. I got a carnitas bowl this time, with corn salsa, regular salsa, lettuce, black beans. I don't like their flimsy, chewy tortillas that much. The bowl was a good choice. The meat was savory, but mildly flavored. Not terribly greasy. Beans were fully cooked, the cilantro lime rice (brown option available) had a nice tang, veggies were fresh. DH got a similar item, but with 1/2 chicken 1/2 carnitas, pinto beans, no regular salsa, + guacamole. The guacamole was very overpriced at nearly $2. DH thought the chicken was more flavorful than the carnitas. But he still enjoyed it. There was hardly a line on a Monday and we got our food quickly. Good portion sizes...we were too stuffed to grab a dessert next door at Yogurtland. We ate on the patio, which had some mesh shading, but it wasn't solid. I was hoping not to get sunburned. We leashed the dog to the outside of the railing. It was really hot! Overall, a good place to stop if you want different fast food. It is more pricey than In-N-Out. There is a Tesla charging station really close to the building, if you decided to drive your electric car. :) read more

I'm so happy that they built a Chipotle at the Grapevine. And the quality and customer service here is just as good as others which I found a great surprise since I've noticed a lot of restaurants around the Grapevine don't have the best of customer service as they're just trying to move people along. Especially during peak hours. Just keep in mind that this location is in the corner of the shopping area so if there is traffic built up getting back to the freeway, you could be stuck here for a very very long time. I was trying to get onto the northbound 5 & the southbound Grapevine was down to 1 lane due to a mudslide. The backup for that on ramp was so bad, it took over 45 minutes just for me to get onto the Northbound. In retrospect, we should've eaten on the other side of the freeway, but come on. Asked for a steak burrito and they said the steak wasn't gonna be ready for a couple more minutes so I decided to wait, when the steak was finally done, the lady filled up a small salsa cup (hardly anything for the price they will charge you) with meat and put in on my burrito, when I asked if I could have a little bit more meat than that, she had the audacity to say I'm gonna have to charge you for double when there wasn't even a portions worth on burrito already, I felt slapped in the face so I decided to let them throw away the half made burrito and walk right out. Sucks the employees seem to hate being busy at work. Weird. Although I went on a different occasion and a very friendly middle aged Latina woman was not afraid to throw some meat on the burrito. Cold Foods! I placed a mobile order for two burrito bowls. The order was ready by the time I want. I was looking forward to some nice warm foods. Mind you I didn't expect the foods to be piping hot but I was thinking it would be at least warm. Yes, I know I did placed a mobile order for pick up but it wasn't even five minutes after the time I want the food to be ready. All the meats were cold, not room temperature but actually cold. On top of that the steaks were tough and chewy. The carnitas was dried. I enjoy Chipotle but the quality this time around is terrible. read more
