This was my first time trying Chipotle since being here in Lexington and I didn't go to the restaurant because I had ordered online with DoorDash just to try something different! This was my first time using DoorDash but I found It cool because they didn't charge me for a delivery fee and I know with the other food delivery service they charge fees but my only complaint with this service I wasn't able to give any specific instructions for my meal I know with other food delivery service that I've used in the past I was able to give a specific instruction for my order! So I said ok no biggie I will just call Chipotle myself and let them know my issue so I did just that and some how some way they still managed to not put my sour cream on the side I don't know what went wrong with that but it's weird because they repeated back everything that I had told them well mistake happened! This is one of the worst chipotles I've been to. They are always either out of ingredients, skimping on serving sizes, or both.

I got my order from Chipotle through Doordash. I ordered a salad, chips and guacamole, while my fiancée ordered a veggie burrito and chips and the cheese dip. The chips that my fiancée got were stale and the burrito was slimy, while my 'salad' had less to none lettuce. The pictures at when I ate and spread the ingredients to find the lettuce. I understand that I got things to go on top, but I used to work for Chipotle and when I was trained to make salads, that was supposed to be the main ingredient unless told otherwise. I don't know if maybe today wasn't their day because we have ordered here before and our orders were made correctly and very well, but a bit disappointed today. read more

I ordered a burrito bowl through DoorDash from Chipotle. When my bowl arrived, it was completely drenched in sour cream. It is sour cream soup. These pictures were taken after I scooped some off and mixed it up, and there are still puddles of sour cream at the bottom of the bowl. There is barely any rice, it is only sour cream that I can taste. I love sour cream, but this is like eating straight sour cream and I want to gag. Not sure if management changed. Have been going for years and today was horrible. I have never had such little food served. Multiple customers complaining of small portion sizes in front of me and behind me. I got a burrito and after getting abnormally small servings of rice and beans I was told there were no fajita veggies. Then my serving of steak was very small so I requested " a little bit more". The server put a little more on but then I was told by another employee that I got "double steak". When I told them I didn't order "double" I then told him he could just take the extra steak off it it was that much of a deal. Nevermind that I wasn't able to receive fajita veggies that are normally available. Instead he decided to throw the whole burrito out ? Wasting perfectly good food and Chipotle's money. Not worth the wait, the inconvenience, and inability to work with customers. Save your time and money and go to a different store. read more

Well, I recently did a little experiment were I went to QDOBA and Chipotle, I got the same thing at bth places. I got a bowl with grilled chicken, pico de gallo, white rice, and black beans. At Chipotle, (QDOBA to follow) the service was significantly faster and better, and the presentation was very nice and clean. Overall the taste was a 9/9. The chicken was crispy and went very well with the other ingredients. The pico was the ultimate compliment to the chicken. It was just overall way better taste. Beans were a nice compliment. At QDOBA, the service was decent, both and nice people, the presentation was kinda sloppy it almost overflowed while I stirred it up. Overall the taste was 6/9. The chicken, every time I took a bite just burnt crap, really just nasty. The pico, was a not good, the tomatoes were huge, didn't really have that tangy goodness. The beans really just felt that they weren't cooked all the way and didn't blend. My experience at these two restaurant chains was a tale of two stories, on one hand Chipotle really took the cake here, while QDOBA just sat in the corner and piddle paddled around. Don't get me wrong I might go get some queso and chips from QDOBA maybe ONCE a YEAR. I would like to compliment their online ordering very nice and easy to handle around. read more

I asked for more cheese and the dude said my manager says I have to charge you extra for extra cheese. I said where is that on the menu and he said that's what my manager said I told him to go get his manager and he said no. I only made a Yelp account just to write this review. I never want to be mean or harsh because I understand how the food business can be hard but I have given this Chipotle location so many chances. Multiple times have I walked into this location and waited over 20 minutes trying to get my food. Which is ridiculous because Chipotle is known for how fast they are but at this location they will do there to go orders over the people there in person. Which I think is absurd, it should be first come first serve just like at any other restaurant. I have never been to any other location where they will make you wait right in front of them while they do the to go orders first. And I'm not just saying like 1 or 2, MULTIPLE. The to-go, I have also ordered to go from this location. I will never ever order to go from here ever again. They literally RIP YOU OFF. I have gotten to go three times from this location. And all three times my bowl wasn't even half filled, so skimpy on the meat and toppings, and they usually don't get my order right. I pay 10 dollars for half of the bowl if that. I am extremely disappointed that Chipotle is being represented in such a poor way at this location. I have never had such a bad experience at other locations. Not to also mention there workers have been rude and while they are talking to each other I've heard them cuss at times right in front of me. They gave me half a burrito bowl of soggy chicken, a crusty burrito tortilla, cold chips, and some sort of half red half green salsa hybrid. Disappointing experience at one of my favorite go-to fast casual restaurants this evening. I ordered my favorite - the sofrita bowl (if you haven't tried it you should; don't be afraid because it's labeled vegan!). I thought everything was fine - looked great, smelled great. Then I took my first bite and it was cold - not like oh this could be warmer - but cold. My husband's was the same - he ordered the barbacoa bowl. Then there were the chips - they were stale. Ordered guac for dipping, and it was tasty as usual, but filled with strings of cheese that had been dropped in due to carelessness while creating bowls & burritos. Now while this didn't really bother me much, it would be terrible for a vegan diner who was looking forward to some guac. The flavor was still there, which is why I powered through. Not sure how many more disappointing Chipotle visits I can take. read more

We came to grab a bite to eat before heading somewhere else to watch the NCAA Championship basketball game. I have always had a good experience at this Chipotle, but this time it was a bit underwhelming. They ran out of chicken, there wasn't a clean table to be had, and there were no straws, lemons or forks at the self-serve station. The food had good flavor, and the burritos were actually larger than normal which was a pleasant surprise. The steak in my burrito had a fair amount of tough gristly pieces which made for a not so appetizing experience. I also got chips and a side of guacamole, and the guac was amazing as usual! This is the only Chipotle restaurant where I've received consistently poor service and food. Unfortunate, because I otherwise enjoy Chipotle for fast, semi-affordable, quality food. I have not enjoyed my service at this particular Chipotle for several reasons: 1. The portions are very inconsistent. 2. I have had to wait for ingredients to be prepared the last several times I've visited the restaurant, despite the fact that business was very slow. 3. Employees have been totally unapologetic about the lack of ingredients, and have acted annoyed when I have chosen to wait for the ingredients I want rather than substituting (I'm vegetarian, so no, I don't want to the pinto beans cooked with pork instead of black beans, but thanks for pressuring me, employee). 4. Burritos and burrito bowls have been made sloppily. For example, the bowl I most recently purchased was about 2/3 full of liquid when I opened it up. That liquid had spilled all over the counter when the employee packaged it up to go, but she felt no need to apologize, warn me, or offer a different meal. Sorry, Chipotle, it's been a good run. This restaurant was much better when I was a freshman (in 2007), but the standards have been severely relaxed. I'm sad to say that I will not be returning. read more
