I was very disappointed in the customer service that Chipotle offered to me and my friend tonight. They were very rude off the bat, and did not have all the ingredients that I wanted on my meal. They also were very rude when I asked about the missing guacamole and chips! When my friends kids meal was finished they did not put her quesadilla into her tray, they just threw it into the bag. This Chipotle location is ok. It is the only Chipotle in Macon and was a huge deal when it first opened since the closest one at the time was in ATL. It doesn't seem like the hype for Chipotle in middle GA was sustained because it is usually fairly empty nowadays. Food quality is normal, service is acceptable, but could always be better. Not much else to say, but I don't get the normal feeling of a Chipotle at this location and would be hard pressed to rate them higher. read more

This was such a disappointment. I love chipotle but this one, out of lettuce, guac, sour cream, salsa, corn and forks. The lady serving the toppings was super rude about it. I'm originally from northern Kentucky and have always loved chipotle. My wife and I were SUPER excited when one opened in Macon. The problem is, at least with my experience, is they are constantly out of particular food items. For example; tonight, which was the final straw, I wanted black beans on my burrito and was told "they were out for the night". So I move on, I asked for corn salsa on my burrito and was told "they were out for the night". At that point I just left. Keep in mind this was at 7:10pm, not even close to closing. This chipotle is terrible. The people that work there are absolutely weird and don't make an effort to clean the place. We were the only people there and the tables were disgusting and the people didn't even make an effort to clean it. I want to love it, I really do. I ate chipotle religiously when I lived in Virginia and had never had a bad thing to say about it. I've been to this location twice and each time something went wrong. I waited in line for 20 minutes both times. The employees were scrambling and seemed to be confused. They ran out of chips. The food was cold. I asked for a little guacamole and it was spilling out the sides. Trash bins overflowing and trash littering the floor. Tables not clean. The whole process is just not smooth. They're constantly yelling across one another to grab this and get that and it's just unlike any experience I've had at any previous chain. I know they're new and they've got to work out their kinks but I don't know. I'm going to wait a month or two before going back. I hope they've got it together by then. read more

930 PM Friday night, 5th day of operation. The place was PACKED. I was in a line that went all the way to the back of the restaurant. It took 25 minutes to get to the point where I finally got to order. The employees were great, smiling and friendly. The place was clean and orderly. I ordered the burrito bowl, and it was delicious. Very very busy on a Thursday night but employees were hustling and friendly. There were lots of employees working and line was still wrapped around the restaurant. Food was excellent. We stopped in on our way through; heading to Savannah. Every experience at this particular location is negative. The main issue is the bad attitude from most of the employees. From rude to just being ignored by the servers. I have never picked up food later than 8:00 and on most occasions, the restaurant is already out of salad dressing, chips, chicken, etc. (always out of at least one). My husband and I love chipotle, because of their high standards for good burritos. We were apprehensive due to the reviews for this particular chipotle; but, to our delight, the ingredients tasted fresh as ever for both our burritos (chicken/carnitas). The food was good. It wasn't over the top amazing though. Compared to other burrito places in the area though this joint is EXPENSIVE. If you want chips, salsa or guacamole be prepared to pay extra. You're also going to need to order 2 sides of either to be enough for your overly priced bag of chips. It wasn't bad, just expensive. But it was also very messy and kinda hard to eat, for it was very thick. They didn't have any sweet tea so I went to the counter and thy gave me some. I had Chipotle with my friends up in Washington, D.C. and i literally thought it was the best thing ever. But when there was finally one in Macon, it was awful. I know they just started but the service is really bad with ridiculously long lines. They were not organized and they didnt't have clean trays which is unsanitary. What i find is the worst thing ever is when i was eating my burrito, i found a ladybug wrapped up inside and it was disgusting. Also, when i ate there, their soda machine was broken for hours and no on e had drinks. The employees there are rude and also the chips taste really gross and they do not have good salsa.
