This location has gone downhill lately. We were regulars for pick up orders but have not returned for months due to the errors in orders. Multiple times they have forgotten to include toppings. The taste of the food has seemed to be off as well (unseasoned rice and unseasoned guacamole). The store is usually not well stocked with napkins, utensils, etc ( or the area is very messy). Seems to be poorly managed. Staff doesn't seem to care or take pride in being there. Recommend seeking other Chipotle locations. read more

This has to be the dirtiest Chipotle in the charlotte area. I just ate there, and although the chicken burrito I had was not terrible, the restaurant itself was pretty disgusting. Tp a point that i'm afraid ill be sick later. Its small, and every single table in there was dirty. The area where the fountain drinks are was a disaster, and the outside.... for all over the ground. Attached are two photos of a $13 double chicken burrito bowl that should include (extra) rice, corn salsa, pico, fajitas, sour cream, shredded cheese and black beans. Aside from a few ingredients missing this only fills up half the bowl. My question to the Togo staff is would you pay $13 for this as your dinner? Answer would probably be no. It's been a while since I've been in a chipotle but last time I was I remember it being clean and all of the ingredients looking fresh. This was an absolute shock. I've not seen a food station and kitchen area look that messy in a long time if ever. Most of the toppings looked really crusty and gross. There is a boat load of employees behind the counter but somehow the place is a pigsty. Overall a turnoff from Chipotle and will stay away as a restaurant choice. read more

The young lady that served me (us) had no business whatsoever, working in the front (9/17/20 around 3:45pm). They should have kept her in the back somewhere prepping food. Trash customer service. Didn't place, but spiked, about a tablespoon of chicken on my bowl. I said, "umm can I get the rest of my chicken" and she spiked another tablespoon. Coincidentally, my son went to the same one, about an hour after me. And tells me about this chick that had an attitude and was throwing small amounts of ingredients into his bowl. I love chipotles food but have really struggled with the service and quality in the area. This is one of two locations near me and both of them have been very unpleasant. Multiple times I will have issues with my online orders either being made incorrectly or being very delayed. Today I was in there for a 6:30pm order. At 7pm, the people with 6:10 orders were getting their food. Meanwhile, the regular line was moving very quickly. Myself and a few others ended up getting in line and requesting a refund online. This was not an issue with being understaffed either, there weee plenty of folks working and still could only produce 1 order every 5 minutes. read more

Chipotle is one of my all time favorites but this was such a disappointing stop. There were 8 employees working and it took me and the girl in front of me 10 minutes to get through. It was an absolute mess behind the counter and someone was using cleaning spray right next to the food. I understand that the end of the night you need to begin the cleanup process but they were clearly not concerned at all with serving the customers. Tasty food but I don't see the big deal. I gave it two tries in a span of 7 months. Had a taste for a bowl and tried the barbacoa this time. Last time I got chicken. It's a Tuesday night and the time was unbelievably long to me. Everyone seemed to be okay with the wait plus it was teacher appreciation night (I had heard). The rice, meat, and lettuce was steadily being replenished. Side condiments were given without a charge. I just don't care for this food. It's affordable and it's a hearty serving but I don't think it taste better than Sabor (order everything) or Moe's (I get burritos). read more

I literally downloaded the Yelp app to leave this review. This Chipotle is a disgrace to the Chipotle name. I don't know why corporate continues to let them operate while ignoring their supply and staffing issues. They don't follow the recipes. The "Cilantro Lime Rice" was hard, plain white rice, the "Roasted Corn Salsa" was frozen yellow corn from Harris Teeter, and the steak is reminiscent of cumin dusted shoe leather. And the guac was old. At this point, I've gotten enough apology free entrees to feed my whole office. I plan to continue leaving reviews until Chipotle takes care of this location and gets it the help it needs. read more

I love chipotle but this one in particular has declined over the past couple years. Tonight I went and they were out of a lot of food options at 6:30pm with nothing on the way. The service was incredibly slow and if I wasn't persistent in asking they would have only filled my guac cup half way. This used to be a great place to eat with fresh food and great service. I am not sure what happened but this restaurant has really gone down hill recently. The last 2 times I went during lunch they were out of barbacoa, brown rice and black beans. One of the cooks was just goofing off and not wearing a mask the entire time I was there. There currently is a mask mandate in our county which he was not adhering to. The staff was not busy and most of the tables were dirty and the trash was overflowing. read more

Please fire someone! This is the absolute WORST customer service experience I've ever had! I had my food delivered the other day and it was nothing that I asked for, if not less. Got a free meal as an accommodation and ordered a Mexican coke and got a sprite today with my free meal. Picked up my order and the employees bullied me for "spending only $5", when I actually spent more than that because I asked for a Mexican coke NOT sprite (could have just said they were out and give me a refund, but no they had to be sarcastic assholes about it, after I got a free meal (because they screwed up!). This place has Zero regard for COVID restrictions. The cooks and servers ALL did not have their masks covering their nose. I am a healthcare professional directly dealing with critically ill patients due to this pandemic and I am appalled at the TOTAL disregard for precautions. I've been here many times before and had a great experience, even in the past 25 days. However, I went tonight around 8pm to get food for my wife and I. The guacamole was obviously old, I didn't realize that was even what it was till they went to scoop the brown goop. Chips were stale and most ingredients were empty. All suggested that the employees were ready to get out of the building. The bad guac pretty much ruined the meal and we couldn't eat it or the food it was put on. Unappealing to look at, and had to give up on the meal. This has not been the norm at all with this location, so I don't know what was going on. However management needs to watch over the closing process. After the experience, I'm selling my shares of chipotle and probably hitting up Moe's. read more

The building inside and out look like any other I've walked into but the quality of food and definitely the service is not the same. I frequent the Northlake Mall location because I work in the area. I've NEVER had a bad experience. Their food and service is ALWAYS the same. That says a lot for over 5 years. With the option to work from home I thought I'd miss out on eating at Chipotle but was happy to hear there was a location less than 5 miles from where I live. Out of a little few times I've been there (less than 5) it's been a negative memorable day experience each time. I usually don't write reviews. Only when service is ready exceptional or despicable. This location has had the following problems each time I've gone. 1 Food area isn't clean (I should've taken a picture) 2. Food was old and not fresh, guacamole was dark green and brown with maybe 3 scoops left in it 3. When there was no rush and 5 male employees were sitting outside while 2 were working inside 4. I had to not only wait on fresh food to be cooked (rice, peppers), . A black Supervisor offered me my food for free because I had to wait 5. Staff were not friendly. Today's staff member was so rude, she's who prompted my last straw and I decided to write a review. Sad to say when I asked for the Manager, it was the same gentleman that was outside with the 5 guys that day I went to tell them the two workers on the inside had a line and needed help. He listened to me today as he did that day but you could tell he's young and not managing his staff well. I'm a Manager (American Red Cross) of staff and I even told him the young lady today obviously did not want to be at work and while I'm sure that happens as it does with my staff but if you showed up today, then you show up for the customer. He smiled and said ok. 6. The staff have no "people-person" personality. Young. No smile or friendliness. And today the young lady LITERALLY slung, threw my (our) food into the container. I watched her serve the man in front of me and the lady behind me. The poor lady behind me got maybe 15-20 black beans thrown in a corner of her container and she was so appalled that we just looked at each other. The juice literally splattered. If she didn't say anything that's on her. It's just too big of difference between the two locations and it's something every time I go there. I'm not going back to that location. I'll try the Albemarle Road location next time. At least this time when it seemed like it was getting busy, another young lady walked up to help. They all look to young to "care" about the mission and vision of the business name, the franchise. They're just working a job. The gentleman at n front je and myself wanted the new chicken flavor (season) she didn't offer "We're cooking and it'll be a moment if you'd like to wait." She said, "we ain't got it either we don't have that chicken" and stood there with the body posture of choose something else. It's only now that I'm typing that I'm thinking, wait, was it that they were completely out or did she mean it's not ready yet. I just choose the dry chicken that was there. And can I say again, it was slung into my container?!?! She had two long blonde braids on each side and was the first person serving. It was as if she had a argument with someone before coming into work or at work or on her break. Horrible customer service. And to say this is the same manager during 2 of my negative experiences, he needs done coaching job n managing his team and running his shift. Both times he wasn't on the floor. This time he was in the back. And I'm a Black American, so I'm not being racist. It was just and has just been a horrible experience of quality ever time I've gone into THIS location.
