Living in Pasadena I have access to two not so great Chipotles, so unfortunately I have to skip my two local chipotles, drive past the Santa Anita Mall location (because I refuse to deal with mall parking, and drive to this location. Monrovia's Chipotle is far superior to the East Pasadena and Lake Avenue location. Quick and efficient staff, beautiful new interior, and better tasting and fresher food. Review is for 1 of the girls working the front tonight. Arrived at exactly 9:30pm and they had no chicken or steak. After asking if there would be more, she got a fat attitude because she had to go to the side bar which is for the online orders and pull meats from there. As she walked over she whispered to the other girl working the register and laughed. Super immature. After coming back and stocking the meats, she proceeds to have an attitude. I asked for light beans and she aggressively fills the bowl with beans. I stop her and tell her, sorry that's too much. I asked for light beans. She then sticks the serving spoon into the bowl and begins to scoop out a bit of beans, putting them back into the serving dish and then pushes the bowl to the next girl to finish it off. Your job isn't hard and you chose to work where you do, maybe try to learn a bit more customer service and do better. read more

Hands down worst chipotle I've ever been to. Ordered 2 bowls and 2 burritos. Mobile order. Was told order would be ready by 9:30 pm. Didn't get order till 9:45. Orders did not come with any forks or napkins idk why. They probably wanted me to eat the bowl with my hands. Ended up getting forks after 5 minutes, but was refused when I asked for napkins and a water cup. Mind you the restaurant was empty. Update! I was in there today (4/7/2020) and had the great pleasure of being helped by a young lady named Porsche! She was phenomenal. She went that extra step to put that extra little touch on my food just to make it better for me. As we go through the motions with this COVID-19 crisis it's those little things that help make the world go round. I had just gotten off work and was exhausted yet here was Porsche making me feel better about having to leave the house today. Thank you Porsche! The staff at this location is phenomenal! I never have had a complaint going in there for them but today was extra awesome. I'm not a fan of crunchy bell peppers in my food so I asked if they could take a serving and make it well done and they did exactly that! I'm so appreciative! But they also answered all my questions about the new Carne Asada meat they have available. Let me just say that it is phenomenal!!! Employee gave us attitude over salad dressing. In addition the employees getting our salad and dressing dropped the salad dressing, picked it up, took off his gloves and proceeded to wipe his nose. If I didn't say something I am sure he would just obliviously keep on preparing food. I am a worker at chipotle Westlak villag I walked in after a hard days work and went back home and that was the closest chipotle to my home so I went there and they I forgot to give me my chocolate milk for my kids meal and when I came back to recover it they said oh we don't really think that you work at the chipotle that you say you work at I gave them a list of all my managers and I showed them my schedule and the actual days I just work today which is.
