Service: Excellent. I order on the app, walk in, pick up, and go. Easy, no frills straight to the point. I like that. Food: standard chipotle. Never really have issues with food. I only go during peak hours for fresh food but this may be hurting me more than if I go earlier or later. I love fajitas in general so it's been disappointing in my last 2 visits to get straight up raw green bell peppers from the fajita veggies in my bowl. I come here a lot and every employee behind that counter looks miserable. Portion sizes are good and the food is delicious. But They don't greet or welcome you upon entering. They are slow and sad with every scoop. No smiles considering the prime obligation in food service is customer service and making sure the customer has a decent experience if not a great one. Why are u all so depressed? It makes me depressed. The music is incredibly loud as well. So loud that it seems like I'm in a bar given I have to lean over the food line and yell my order at them. They made me repeat directions cuz they obviously couldn't hear me. Communication seems to also be an issue here with guests. I kindly asked how much each bowl was and instead of telling me, she just hands me the receipt and tells me "here's the receipt if you want to check" that's extremely rude. It shows no respect for the guest while interacting with them and a lack of appreciation for the business I bring to your company. read more

I'm not sure if anyone reads reviews for chipotle, cause ya know, it is what it is, but I felt I needed to express how unsatisfactory my experience was at this location. I walked it and the place was empty. Not one other patron there, only other people were the two employees behind the counter. So I walk up and both employees keep their eyes down (as though they were intentionally avoiding eye contact.) I finally get to the counter and expect that I'll at least be asked what I'd like since no greeting took place - but nooo. I stand there awkwardly for at least a minute (count to 60 in silence with someone right in front of you, It's awkward). The girl who was at the register leaves to go to the back and after a little while longer I *obviously* try to catch the other workers eyes (who's been refilling bowls/lids instead of talking to me even though he definitely saw me) so instead of stopping what he's doing to great me, apologize, or at the very least - ask what I'd like! He mumbles "just a minute"... I'm like.. ok... should I leave at this point? Since these bowls are clearly more important than my business? But just as I was about to, he finally asks in the same mumble what I want. I order, and after he puts the lid on he puts the food at the register which has since been vacated and WALKS AWAY TO REFILL MORE BOWLS! So I kid you not again I wait. For more than a few minutes this time. It was like a social experiment the guy and I pretending what he's doing isn't wrong!? Then finally some lady comes from the back (no, the guy did not go get her or ask anyone to ring me up since I assume he wasn't capable) she just *happened* to come up from to refill some liquid thing!! This is a new Chipotle chain (along with a few other restaurants) that opened not too long ago where the Acapulco used to be. With every new business, there are always kinks that need to be worked out: staffing for the lunch rush, efficient workers, and stellar customer service. They need to work on all of these. -Salsa bar and utensils were not set up -Workers were inexperienced and it showed (they couldn't wrap a standard sheet of foil around a burrito because it was overstuffed) -Workers talking amongst each other instead of to the customer -Rice was under cooked -Food was not hot (warm at best) I think I'll come back in a few months when they've worked out the new store kinks. Really a Crap Shoot going to this Location I Love Chipotle, but the employees here are just not up to par. I am so tired of coming home, and saying.. "shoot, they Neglected this or that". If You Order a Salad, either you Should Automatically be Asked if you Want dressing, or Dressing should be included. Tonight I was told No Lettuce....geez. Like an economic cycle, I go through phases of foods. Recently, it appears to be chain restaurants. Hearing so much bad news about their virus scare, I figured they would try harder to gain/keep customers. So we decided to come back here & grab lunch. The experience: As I approached the ordering line, a girl who talks as fast as an auctioneer starts speaking. I constantly have to ask her to repeat herself. After all, it's not as if we come here daily and know the drill. The food: We ordered one steak, one chicken burrito... both w/ white cilantro lime rice. What, you put cheese & sour cream?? Oh yea, you're not a Mexican restaurant. No thanks. The rice brought a little freshness to each burrito. The chicken was charred and had a nice smoky aroma, but they weren't exactly generous with the meat. All pieces were cubed quite small, but on the bright side, I could chew less. The steak was bland, tough, and had plenty of fibrous, elastic parts. No beef taste at all. The rice.. overpowered the steak... the rice!!! The end: At the register, we also ordered a bag of chips & salsa. When we got home & looked in the bags, there was no salsa, just chips. Really girl? You had one job, put a container of salsa in the bag with the chips, and you failed. How does this girl still have a job? The conclusion: Like their viral contamination, I hope this lack of attention & flavor of food is confined to this one location. The place wasn't even busy, with no more than 3 other people in line. I recently visited this Chipotle location for a quick lunch with a group of principals. After a long morning meeting away from our respective school sites, the last thing anyone wanted was a long delay.... Just feed me, and get me back to my kids! This Chipotle delivered. The bunch of kids working behind the counter were pretty funny and positive-- when we walked in, the place was pre-lunch rush, and they yelled at us happily like a pack of sushi chefs! Their positive attitude and general feeling that they were making the most of a job that is little more than serving as an assembly line technician was refreshing-- we all had these jobs growing up: low brain work, probably lower compensation, but you CHOOSE YOUR ATTITUDE in life and make the best of every moment. They were jocular and cordial without being offensive or rude; they seemed to celebrate their collective station and each others' company without neglecting their customers. A nice group of workers! I'm withholding one star to demonstrate that life is unpredictable and unfair. Also, I got stuck sitting on that uncomfortable stuck-to-the-floor stool, and I'm 6'3". Management, get a couple more chairs and tear up that stupid thing please. The food is a salt bath, but tasty and sloppy. I got extra salsa and extra lettuce on my steak bowl, so more sodium, more water... It's a wash. Look, you're not here for a haircut, right? Just drink an extra Dasani later, and take a few more minutes on the treadmill. For those of you expecting fine dining at 11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday in a strip mall... lighten up, Francis. The food here is the worst I've had compared to every other single Chipotle I've been to. I ALWAYS order the same-- chicken bowl (or burrito), no beans, white rice, salsa, cheese, corn, hot sauce, sour cream and lettuce. I'm consistent and I expect Chipotle to be consistent with all of my orders because I always get the same order! I was pretty disappointed tonight. Even their lettuce has gone bad so I had to toss some of it out of my bowl. Pretty much the only thing that was consistent was their cheese and sour cream.. I've been coming to this location for a few years. Used to come at least twice a week. Then became once a week, today was after a month and probably no more going to chipotle again after today. Workers rather talk than help you. BAGS OF TORTILLA CHIPS ARE SCAM. I bought both - Regular and Large (3 times) and when I empty the bag, it's literally the same amount for both but "Large" cost more. Don't take my words for it though. Try yourself. This location probably has the smallest portion size. Touched my food after touching the cleaning supplies WITH THE SAME GLOVES ON. Have found a hair in my food in the past order. Don't know their names but the black girl here seriously doesn't wanna work. I would wait every single time while she finishes her conversation then she would help. She's been working there for a while but can't wrap a burrito even if her life depended on it. That's how bad she is. Every time she used wrap the burrito, when i bite into it, other side would open up and fall down. Dude with the beard (probably manager since ive seen him there for a while), everytime he makes the bowl, it's literally half empty. Again. Don't take my word for it. Ordered on doordash the night before and the food as I read in prior post was cold and not appealing . It's also took longer than normal time to deliver. I order from more popular places and the turnaround is faster . I trumped it all to be maybe they were "busy" or maybe my little veggie bowl took longer than most to make. So I decide to come i person this time to order and the place is a ghost town. So I figure great food will be hot and fresh. See the pictures of 3oz of chewed meat? It was grisly, fatty and unable to be chewed, so it was spit out. That is the majority of the meat they used! See the small tablespoon of guacamole? That was nearly $3.00 for that and I wasn't told that it would be $3.00 for garnish. See the $17.95 paid? This was suppossed to be a $10-$12 to go order, but this location did not disclose that the carne asada was nearly $13! That is not legal. See the rice? no? that is because the new employee barely put any on the servinig spoon. Sorry you have to pay $15-$20 to your employees, but I expect the same quality I used to get and I don't expect to spit half my order out. Oh, and no where on their website is there a place to send this along with my receipt or phone number. they have a survey which does not ask for that, so basically, there is no recourse unless I bring chewed up fat back to the store! First time I visited this location I was served by a girl. She was gr8. Food met my expectations. Second time, "NO BUENO" The guy didn't even say hello. Terrible personality. Food taste like $hit. I went there hoping the guy about 5'9 - 5'10" mustache and light beard wasn't there. I walked thru the doors and I said F***. Turned around and didn't want to put up with your $hit!!! FOOD WAS ICE COLD! This location had a very friendly and kind staff, however we had a big problem with our food temperature & did not get things we asked for in our mobile orders. We scheduled pick up for today at 8:15pm. When we arrived it was 8:07 so we decided to wait inside for our orders which took a couple of minutes (which was absolutely no problem, I don't mind waiting especially during dinner rush!). When we received our food (4 bowls) it was no problem & the staff was very friendly. The problem arose when we got home. After our (less than 10 minute) drive home, our food was ice cold, not an exaggeration, we all had to warm our food up because it tasted as if it was out of the fridge. In addition, we did not receive extra lettuce and/or meat in our food that we asked for, which in all honesty isn't a big deal, but the ice cold food is a deal breaker. read more

Disclaimer: This location is rated 5 stars in comparison to other Chipotle locations. +This chipotle is located in a plaza in Monrovia on Huntington Drive. This plaza has been revamping lately and opening up new stores so this plaza is getting much more lively! Planty of parking space is available. +Food was solid when I visited. Steak was cooked perfectly, lime rice was flavored just right, lettuce was fresh and crisp and all the salsas were on point! +But what makes this Chipotle amazing is their service!! So I visited this Chipotle when I had my B1G1 free chipotle coupon. For some reason I hate revealing that I'm using the B1G1 free coupon at the end when I'm paying for it so I revealed that I'm using the coupon to the workers from the start. Sometimes that usually results to workers serving me pretty poorly but this location wasn't like that at all! The workers served me with a smile the whole time and they didn't make a scene when I asked for extra rice for my mom's portion since she doesn't have beans. +Lastly this also ties into service but when the worker scanned my coupon code, the machine automatically deducted the entire bill and gave me both burrito bowl for free. The probably could have voided the bill and tried to charge me at least for one but she said due to the glitch, both are on the house instead of just one. I come to chipotle often. It's one of my favorite places to come when I want something semi healthy but quick and easy. I've never had an issue until today I found a huge wing stuck to a piece of lettuce I had in my bowl. The manager just seemed like he wanted to sweep the issue under the rug because he didn't say sorry or apologize he just said if I wanted my money back. I then though he would remove the container of lettuce that was contaminated but they didn't they continued to serve customers and I just find that very unsanitary and disgusting because who knows if there is another part of the bug in there. I just feel like they lack sanitary skills at this chipotle because no one did anything they all carried on never fully addressing the issue. read more

This rating directly goes to management while the employees were working their butts off. Mobile order at 11:30 for 1:00pm pickup. Show up at 12:50 and waited until 2:00pm... still no food. Not only were they slow but there were crowds (over 25) of people waiting inside for their mobile orders. I've never seen such poor management while some people were able to get their food early and others werent. 50/50 chance that you would have to be stuck inside with 25 other people. And no people weren't following the 6 feet rule. What pisses me off is that they knew they were very behind on their orders and neglected to tell people who were waiting. Finally, Some of us were told to cancel our orders online through their crappy "suggestions" website. Still waiting for my refund. Get your act together or shut down. read more

This review is based upon multiple visits. Poor quality control. Small portions. All staff can say was sorry (with an I don't care look) and more meat is extra. One occurrence at my visit here I ordered a chicken burrito. I watched my food preparer scoop a full spoon of meat but before placing it onto the tortilla she proceeded to dump half that portion back into the rest of the tray. Then competed my burrito. Today (5/10), I decided to get the barbacoa burrito. Here we go again... I watched my food maker grab with the tongs of a small small portion of meat about the size of a small egg. I asked if I could get just a lil more like a pinch more. She then tells me, more meat cost extra. I said no then moved down the line. I then noticed customers behind me with WAY more meat then I had. One with a bowl where the meat decently covered the bowl, another got 3 tacos where the meat on one taco equated to the meat portion on my burrito. The rest of the ingredients were quite lacking as well. I mentioned the same thing to the cashier and said sorry (with an I don't care look) and charged me full price of barbacoa. So random, but I watched a short documentary about Chipotle on NetFlix over the weekend. It talked about the founder Steve Ells who originally wanted to open a high end restaurant and opened Chipotle instead. They also talked about how they emphasize organic ingredients and naturally raised meats (animals not locked up). This Chipotle just opened up in December 2013 and this was our first time dining here. Our other coworker refused to eat here because she says that their food is too salty for her so she and another coworker went somewhere else. The interior is a little small compared to others and didn't have that much seating. There are tables outside too. I got a chicken salad and my coworker got the tacos. We both found our meals incredibly salty (I didn't finish the whole thing). I guess they salt the meat, salt the beans, salt the salsa, salt the chips... sodium overload. My salad was totally watery too. I guess from the beans. I also went to the Chipotle at the Westfield Arcadia mall and didn't love my meal either.
