Although I've only been working in the area for a little over a month, I think I found one of my favorite go-to lunch spots! I've been here a couple of times for a bowl. I've had the steak bowl as well as the chicken bowl. The chicken bowl is 10x better than the steak bowl. Some of the toppings I included with my chicken bowl are corn, cheese, lettuce, cilantro lime sauce, guacamole, and sour cream. I've dined in here once and recently dined out. The food is fresh and the customer service here is overall good. It's best to use your Chipotle rewards via the mobile app when placing an order here. I will be sure to do so moving forward in order to accumulate points for future free or discounted items. read more

Convenient location and easy to walk to. Ordered a bowl online. Picked up in store, employees were friendly. Quantity was great, I like my bowls stuffed to the top. Plenty of seating, we ate at a table. Chicken was kind of salty but was able to balance it with guac. Good quick meal to fill my stomach. read more

The food and service at this location is usually subpar, but today (Wednesday, April 23 at 1PM) was the final straw. I came in for takeout lunch and have decided I will never return. I've never had to spit out hard chunks of white rice in nearly every other bite--completely inedible. To make matters worse, they were out of chicken, and when I said I was willing to wait for it, the staff was incredibly rude and essentially refused to let me wait. If I had known there was no chicken, I would've walked out instead of wasting time in line. Portions were skimpy, and they didn't include the sour cream or guac I asked for on the side. My mom and I have been on a Chipotle high for the past couple of weeks. Whenever she comes over she brings us take out from Chiptole. We both ordered burritos, one chicken and one carne asada. My carne asada burrito had white cilantro rice and my mom skipped out on the rice. She's not a fan of rice in her burrito. We asked for extra Chicken, extra Carne Asada, Queso, extra Corn Salsa, extra Shredded Cheese, extra Fajita Peppers, and guacamole. It's Chipotle! They've got burritos, tacos, warm chips, salsas, homemade guacamole, rice, and beans. They also sell beer and margaritas. The food for the most part is on point. Their meats (steak, chicken, pork) are always seasoned well. Once in a blue moon, their meats can be a bit overcooked. Everything on their menu is affordable. I know that there are many taco trucks and restaurants around us that offer cheaper tacos with more authenticity. But Chipotle is unique in its own way. So give it a whirl or two. This is my go to place when I can't make up my mind on what to eat. It also makes me feel at home, since my friends and I ate Chipotle at least once a week during our College years. Cheap Eats. Hit or miss. The first couple of times I came here I enjoyed the prompt service. The staff seemed very polite. The last time I went there, last week, Wednesday around 2:15 pm, the gentleman putting putting rice in the burritos wasn't friendly at all. The credit card machine chip reader wasn't working either. I think everyone in the world can appreciate Chipotle, I surely can. Anyhow, I guess it's technically a "Fast Food" Mexican restaurant. They have Tacos, Burritos, Bowls, and Nachos. The standard for Mexican. My two conplaints are the extremely long línes during lunch time (Anytime between 1230 and 2PM) and how cheap they can be with rice and/or meat. I typically get a veggie bowl without the meat and they barely give any brown rice( Ask for the extra scoop and they will give it to you). On the few occassions I do get the Steak bowl, they give too much steak, Go FIgure! Although, I have many fríends who are Chiplote enthusiasts who complain about the chicken portions they give. Overall, this place is great, fairly priced and I wish I could eat here daily, but Chiplote can also give you a heart attack when you have 50 people ahead of you during lunch hour and only an hour to eat!! read more

Chipotle is awesome, they offered Brown Rice now, believe dat!!!! I just started to order the bowls now, I have always been a burrito only type person. Now I am diversified, I love this location. It is a chain but serves its purpose to tame down your hungry during lunch hours. I think it is way too crowded around 12 or 1 pm, but I usually eat lunch around 2:15 or 3 pm, so never too much of a problem with the line. -I like getting the carnitas here, but I LOVE getting the Barbacoa. Mexican Beef here it is so good. 4.5 stars from me, check out this location the staff is usually pretty friendly. I recommend getting the Bowl, Barbacoa or Chicken, have a good time with it. -I usually don't get it with Guacamole now that I have tried the one from Dos Toros, that one is cheaper and just better. read more

One of the hidden gems after a great workout out at Blink Murry Hill. Not situated on a high volume Street like Third Avenue or 42nd so you won't be on line with a walk in customer off the street. The chipotle customer at this location know exactly what they want and will not hold up the line because they are indecisive. My only wish is that Chipotle closes at 11 pm oppose to 10 pm so I can have a longer workout. This Chipotle was deep behind enemy lines and manages to stay afloat while the two Qdoba situated on a Main Avenue, (52nd, 40th & 3rd), with tremendous traffic like strollers to gridlock exposure still manages to fold. I've been to this location a few times. You cannot go here for an earlyish lunch between 11 and 12 because all the ingredient they put out are not fresh and looks like they've been pre-made awhile ago. You have to wait for them to change all them out around 12:30. Seriously not exaggerating, the guacamole was totally brown and hard on top. It looks like it was made the night before. I have witnessed many a terrible incident at a Chipotle. Once a woman screamed at the cashier for the unforgivable sin of putting guac directly onto her salad instead of on the side. Fisticuffs almost came to pass when an assembly-lineman accidentally used the tomatillo salsa instead of the fresh tomato salsa. A girl once asked for three extra helpings of fajita vegetables, thus leaving none for me. The problem with customizable Mexican fast food is that everyone thinks their combination is superior to all others when really ... you're just eating sour cream soup. This Chipotle is no different, though I imagine its location make the lunch lines pretty awful. The girl working the tortilla stand blinked at me when I made a split-second decision of skipping the rice for my burrito bowl (yes, I should have requested a salad, and yes, I messed up the precise order of How Things Are Done), but I'm giving extra points for that generous dollop of guac. Not going to say any errors that may have been committed by the people assembling my burrito bowl (er ... salad), because, well, it should be mandatory to work in a restaurant for at least a year, just so people know better than to scream at someone who makes their food. read more

I love all chipotle locations because I believe in their core values and the fact that they are going GMO free. But, some locations are not as good as others on cleanliness and service. This location has extra seating upstairs with enough room to feel spacious and not too cramped. The tables were clean. The service was decent. The portions were big. The person building my bowl gave me more black beans and salsa with no problems. I even found an outlet to charge my phone upstairs. read more

(If you arrive and order is not ready, they will prepare for you immediately which is like cutting in line :P) Burrito Bowl is the way to go! Sofritos (tofu blend) is actually really tasty. You can also do half/half different meats. $9 incl tax for chicken+sofritos. And I like adding all the different types of salsas so it's less dry of a bowl. At lunch the line winds around the entire interior of this medium/small space and all the way out the door. Remember standing in line for elementary school lunches? If you're a young professional plenty of other young people in suits packed in to get some "grub" certainly not elementary school children in line and the food is much better! *laughs* Had four tacos, two chicken, one veggie, and one pork. I would have to say that the Pork was the best but it was a good decision to grab one veggie because beans and rice do not come on the side so you could easily dump them out of the veggie taco. Chicken was decent but I'm still craving the taco truck from back home (CA). Not exactly authentic Mexican fare but very large portions very reasonable and you can expect to spend around $8-10 for lunch. I certainly couldn't finish everything on my plate! OK, so it isn't very often that I am compelled to write a Yelp review. I was seriously hungover today and craving a burrito. I work in Midtown and knew my options would be minimal. I should probably have started off by saying I was born and raised in San Francisco's Mission District, so I was already mortified that this was my lunch choice for the day. I was uphauled by the WHITE rice in the burritos. White rice, really? There were only a few choices of meats and I went with the barbacoa in fear that the others would be dry and tasteless. I was cringing while the lady was making my burrito. All of the contents were lumped in the middle and I knew it would spell disaster later on. I had to stop her from putting yucky black beans on my burrito although the pintos didn't look much better. They looked very sad and dry. No green salsa!! That made me sad. I don't like tomatoes so I always skip the pico de gallo, but i do like a little kick. No fair. I asked for Guacamole and she told me it would be extra, so i figured it would be an extra .75 cents or so -- 2.09!?!? Are you kidding me? So out the door I paid $10.75 for a burrito I knew I wasn't going to like. So, I went back to my desk at ate my sad burrito. Just as I has suspected, the contents spilled all over as soon as I took my first bite. The tortilla started breaking all over which tells me it probably wasn't very fresh. The meat had a weird taste to it - good, but it didn't really belong in Mexican food. The spices were off somehow. That white rice was awful and not complimentary at all! And my million dollar guacamole was mashed up unripe avocados. There were hard chunks in there. I seriously can't believe all of the 4 and 5 stars this place has received. Chipotle in Manhattan may as well be McDonalds as its one of the most widely recognized chains around the country however, I wish there were as many Chipotles as there are McDonalds because the simple limited menu is affordable and delicious. Service at this location is busy, but seems to handle crowds better than the other locations I've been to in the city. Lunchtime can be crazy, however, ordering online will help you beat the crowds. This is the Chipotle where I had my Chipotle cherry popped. This was from back in my Manhattan days - and I ate here for lunch quite a bit. While I must admit to liking Qdoba a tad more - Chipotle is my go-to place for a Burrito Bol (Naked Burrito) with Chicken, Black Beans and Guacamole. It's fast and cheap - but watch those calories - I never get cheese and rarely get sour cream so I can justify that guac! This branch of Chipotle is in a stand-alone building (did it used to be the Pizza Hut - I forget). It has a cool-gray ambience - a bit industrial looking. I usally get take out, though so I don't really care. The lines at lunchtime can get really long but they move quickly. read more

Chicken, Bol, Extra Black! How can anyone not love Chipotle. Yes it is a chain, yes the lines are long (some rides at Disney World have less of a wait) and yes you might feel like you are visiting the soup nazi if you are taking too long with your order, but you have to be honest. The food is good and fresh. You can really get creative with the different salsa's and no two burritos are the same. I hear people complain about the wait but I say suck it up. Who cares about a 15-20 minute wait when you score one of those burritos at the end. My coworkers and I go every Friday. The wait in line has become one of our favorite parts of the Chipotle experience. It is when we catch up with each other, give details of our upcoming weekends and share big news and life events. If you want to ride the chipper train with us plan to get there at 1215 and jump in line with us. You will know who we are. read more

They make their own chips and guacamole and they're amazing. The last thing I'd expect from a chain is fresh, tasty guacamole, but that's exactly what you're guaranteed at Chipotle. The chips are definitely the best earlier in the day and they're definitely slightly stale by closing, but still good. I try to be as thorough as possible, but I don't eat meat, so I really can't say anything about the meat except that my friends seem to enjoy it and it doesn't look gross like most meat looks to me. The burritos are great, but more than I can eat. I read someone say that the rice is soggy and seasoned with parsley. I've never had soggy rice and it always tastes like cilantro. My absolute favorite is the crispy vegetarian tacos. The food is expensive for take out, but they give you a lot of it. I can see how people would dislike the HS cafeteria feel of pointing out what food you want, but I love that you get to see what everything looks like and get to pick out exactly what you want without having to worry about someone in the back botching up your order. The seats and decor are much nicer than the average take out place. read more

This location has a Chipotle and a Qdoba within 1 block from each other. I've grown to love the fresh, satisfying, great tasting burritos from both locations and could probably come back everyday and just order something slightly different each time. Oh, and I get the Guacamole in my burrito everytime, it's totally worth it. It also successfully replaces the sour cream and cheese in terms of taste and texture, and is far healthier this way. Lastly, having gone back and forth between both establishments, I prefer the taste, texture, and freshness of every ingredient in Chipotle over Qdoba. This includes the guacamole (super important) to the meat, the beans, and the burrito wrapper. The only thing Qdoba has over Chipotle is the awesome queso sauce, which is amazing with their pork. read more

There are 2 things that stand out to me. 1 is the fountain drink machine has been broken for 3 MONTHS!! People like to drink something when they eat. That just shows the owner and manager don't care about this location. And 2 - the portions get smaller and smaller every time I go there but the prices keep going up. read more
