I rarely leave reviews, but I had to after coming in around 10:40 p.m. on April 27. Karina or Carina helped me, and she was great. No attitude at all, just calm, efficient, and clearly knew what she was doing. The whole process felt smooth and easy, and she handled everything professionally from start to finish. I'm giving this five stars for her, not for the location. Most times I come here I'm close to leaving a negative review because of the attitude and lack of effort from other staff, especially management. It often feels careless and inconsistent. That's why she stood out so much. She felt genuine and just did her job right without any attitude. Managers here could learn a lot from employees like her. Kudos to her for setting the standard. Also, respect to the cooks. I know they probably don't get the recognition they deserve. read more

I don't love chipotle but when I don't feel like cooking and I want something healthy ish I come here because it's better than a burger and fries. I really enjoyed their carne asada and chimichurri. Really stupid that you have to pay extra for it but it's worth it. This location is really dirty so I usually just order on Uber eats and don't enjoy eating at the restaurant. The service is pretty good here. I wish they had the option on the app to add the chipotle vinaigrette on the side for other items besides the salads. I'm not usually the person to leave reviews. But this specific location (Vista Way) is TERRIBLE. Over the last 5 months, their portions have gotten smaller and smaller and smaller. When the employees get asked to fix it or add a little bit more food to your order, they give you the most outrageous attitude and sparsely add more. On top of that, it's more consistent now that the food is going bad/is bad. I've had too many times where I've taken the chance on their food and have had the worst food poisoning of my life. So, the day before my first Ironman 70.3, you betcha I found myself the nearest Chipotle and, since I know myself well, I got not one but two steak bowls to go. Why did I get two you may wonder? Because I knew this is exactly what I would want to eat upon finishing those 70.3 miles (and my hotel had a refrigerator, thank you). I went in today at 9:30, store doesn't close until 11:00pm. I ordered a bowl and turned out they didn't have any lettuce, chips, and empty fountain drinks! The portions were extremely small and when I asked for more, the server had an attitude and still paid over $13.00! Poor experience today, do better with having ingredients and drinks! read more

Every time I order ahead something goes wrong. If I order at 11am and get here at 11, it's not ready. If I get here at 11:10, it's still not ready. Today I came 20 minutes later and they said someone probably stole it so we will remake it. Never use the app to order ahead because it's never ready on time and if you have a timed lunch you probably won't be able to enjoy it. I am now deleting the app from chipotle. So unimpressed. Had a bad experience last night around 8pm at this location--my first time here. Two girls were working the front. I said hi but was totally ignored, even though there was no line. A guy who came in after me got welcomed and helped right away. Both girls had an attitude, and the one making my bowl gave me barely any chicken. I asked for more corn and she poured some out. I left my to-go bowl up front and told them I was going to the bathroom, but they didn't say there was a code. When I walked back and asked for it, the Asian girl looked at me like I was stupid. It felt rude and embarrassing. Not trying to profile, just didn't catch their names. If I'd known the service would be like this, I'd have taken my money elsewhere. Please treat people with kindness. I work in food service and I understand the draining it brings after a long day of talking to customers. I'm just a bit surprised because I went in 30 minutes before close which I know is cutting it kind of a bit close, but not fully based on my experience. I saw they were putting the chairs up and sweeping so I was hesitate to go in, not wanting to disrupt. 3 stars cause I genuinely like chipotle but not sure who was on the line tonight acting like Mrs. Chipotle herself but she stopped one of the newer workers from putting white rice inside my quesadilla which I've literally been doing since I was 12 years old and they typically just charge it as a burrito no problem. She said there's no way they've done that before even though every chipotle I've ever been to including this one before has done that and charged me as a burrito. I told her I have done that here before but it's fine as I didn't want to argue due to a line forming and she just wasn't budging. When she handed me my chicken quesadilla I said "thank you" as I should and she said nothing as if she was mad even though I did not argue and she got her way of not giving me what I wanted. I used to work at this location. Let me start by saying that this the BEST store in Oceanside, hands down. The GM and the Manager run a tight business and they do things the ethical and right way.
