gotta say, this is a review I NEVER thought I'd write. was craving a Philly cheesesteak sandwich big time. the Cheesesteak Grill is a couple of exits up I-5 but to say the quality of their offerings has steadily declined since the death of the original owner a couple of years ago would be a kindness. the Fat Cowboy, a new offering at Jersey Mike's, popped up on a social media feed and was desperate enough to give it a try. boy, was I rewarded. used the Jersey Mike app, clear and actually functional, a rarity in my experience, to order lunch. the Fat Cowboy wasn't on the app menu so re-worked a Big Kahuna with extra meat and extra cheese. WOWZA. hot, juicy, and loaded, lunch was a revelation. next time I'm in dire need of a cheesesteak sandwich, I know where I'm headed. ps: have previously enjoyed Jersey Mike's Subs but thought they were mostly lettuce on a squishy Italian roll. the extra meat option is definitely gonna be my new go-to. read more

Where to start? With the canned responses from the owner saying the same thing over and over for years without fixing a thing? Ordered in the app went 30 minutes later to pick up. My ticket is still sitting on the machine no one bothered to look at it let alone make it. Had to wait another 15 minutes for them to make my order. Not a word about the ineptitude. Why order ahead when it takes you longer?? Then I fill out the online feedback form that goes to the owner full of generic responses lies here. Never hear anything back. TRUST THOSE WHO YELP REGULARLY... I took my Mom (79) in for a sub today and found this store not super busy at 1:00p on a Sunday. There was a good-sized staff of young employees ready to work. Mom had a mini Club (#8) with chips and a fountain drink, while I ordered a regular meatless mushroom with avocado and no cheese. Mom was please with her sandwich and said the bacon was delicious. Sadly, my sandwich (see pic) was mostly bread. I asked to chat with the manager about it, but was told they didn't have one today; just a "lead," who by 1:30p was too busy to chat with me. In their defense, it had gotten very busy by that time. As most sandwiches are packed full, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of filling in mine... probably wouldn't have filled a mini. The lack of nourishment to my body made me sluggish (carb heavy) and cloudy for hours. Between that and the "we already have your money" stance the store took with my inquiry, I can't say these kids are well trained to run a store on their own. There are other good Jersey Mike's stores in the area I can recommend over this one. read more

Came here last night for dinner because my husband insisted on eating their cheesesteak. SERVICE - The cashier that helped us was very friendly! He made us feel very welcomed which was nice. FOOD #99 - Apparently this is a secret menu item? My husband enjoyed his sandwich as it was covered in cheese. I tried it and the mixture of cheese and meat was good but it makes me question how much the cheese masks the flavor of the meat. Cheesesteak (in a wrap) - I got this in a spinach wrap and instantly regretted it after taking the first bite. The tortilla had the old stale smell and taste. I was very disappointed. I like how they cut the meats very thin and stuff the sandwich with it. I usually get the Italian and it satisfies me. I don't like Mikes way because they drench, like drench it in oil. I guess you can tell them to slightly dash it. The sandwiches are about $8ish for a regular size, but just enough deli meat since with all that deli meat it can get salty. read more

Definitely disappointed with this place. I've been a customer for a very long time and was beyond disappointed/irritated by my visit tonight, most likely is the last one to this location. I ordered The biggest chicken bacon ranch sandwich I could as I am planning on splitting it with my significant other. Prior to making the sandwich, a young man rang me up and I tipped more than 25% of a roughly $22 combo order and figured that these kids deserve a little extra for working during Covid, but instead of even acknowledging my tip, he just continued to talk with another co-worker behind the counter. I literally asked the young man, "did you receive the tip I just left for you all?" As I wanted to make sure they got it (I paid with my AMEX Card), and his response was an underwhelming "yup." The young lady who made my sandwich did not ask if I wanted anything extra on it, if I wanted something left off, etc., she literally just stood facing away from me towards the grill and made the sandwich. I tried two times to get her attention but she must've been in her own world because she not only didn't acknowledge me, but instead threw my sandwich together, put it in the bag and set it near the register and walked away before I could even get a word out. As if all of this wasn't frustrating enough, I'm told AFTER PAYING for my combo that I can only get a drink out of the cooler because of Covid, and of course they didn't have root beer in the cooler so I just grabbed something and walked out. I sincerely wish I could cancel this "order," if you even want to call it that, on my card, especially the tip that not a single one of them deserved. Ended up giving my sandwich to the homeless guy outside and going to grab something else for me and my significant other. When I walked up to order they gave me plenty of choices to choose from and the prices were very reasonable for the sizes given. Disgusting. We have been coming to this store since they opened and have always had a great experience. Tonight, none of the line workers assembling sandwiches were wearing masks. We walked in and one employee, holding a tray of freshly baked bread in one hand, openly and violently sneezed (mask free) in the direction of the meat case. We turned around and walked straight out. All the customers who had sandwiches in the queue looked visibly distressed, and rightly so. The rules are that if six feet of space cannot be maintained between employees, which it can't at any Jersey Mike's, employee masks are required. This is a major health violation while the Delta variant is surging and, as I said previously, disgusting for a food service situation. read more

This place deserves a major shout out today. I came in around 2:30 to find several teenaged soccer teams standing in line to order. (Over 20 ppl easily) As a patron, I was almost overwhelmed and felt the urge to leave. HOWEVER, the staff was friendly, fast and efficient when faced with this rush. My sandwich didn't take long and was made with as much care as if I were the only person in line. And despite this rush, the staff not only served the sandwiches accurately with a smile, staff continued to clean the establishment (tables, floors, bathrooms) to an exemplary level. Fresh subs! I recently came here and had my first Jersey Mike's sub ever. I felt clueless since I had never been here on how it works as each sandwich shop is a little different. The service was good as they had a lot of staff. I ordered a BLT Hot Sub and was asked if I want it it's "Mike's Way" .. which I had no clue what that was since I've never had Jersey Mike's. Upon reading it on the description on the window glass I ended up trying it out and this includes: Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices! I like the concept of Mike's Way which makes it simple when ordering. My BLT Hot Sub was definitely flavorful and they put a good amount of bacon which was cooked to perfection. 4 Stars~ read more
