This use to be my go to chipotle but lately they've been really skimping out on the food very little portions. I have to ask for extra to get it to be NORMAL portions and end up paying more. When I see morbidly obese people around town, I used to wonder "How could anyone eat to the point where they get that big?". Chipotle has helped me to understand how that could be possible, since under the right circumstances, I could probably push my weight over 300 on nothing but Chipotle burritos. I like the barbacoa fajita burrito probably the most. I think they also put cocaine or another addictive substance on their chips as well, because I jones for them as if that were the case. Chipotle loses a star for their less than stellar parking situation at my favorite location (72nd and Dodge). There are more businesses in the strip mall than parking spaces, and while I am not a civil engineer, this seems inadequate. read more

I've always been a fan of Chipotle's style of foil wrapped, behemoth sized burritos. Though I've enjoyed many of these myself (I once tried to eat two), you can share one burrito with your significant other and enjoy a full sized meal for almost nothing. The Omaha Chipotle is not the best of this national chain. The burritomakers are more concerned with burritomaking speed rather than ingredient proportionality or consistency. Go to Chipotle only if you are in need of a large, cheap and quick meal that is mediocre at best. read more

I wish they'd open a location downtown or near Creighton U. (and have late-night hours)! Skip the messy burrito and get a burrito-bol, which is their version of a "naked" burrito. Loads of over-salted, spicy goodness. Goes great with a Modelo Negro or Corona. Chips are extremely salty, but what the heck! This food likes to anger the god of acid reflux. Steak "bol" with rice (no beans), fajita veggies, mild salsa, cheese, lettuce, and guacamole will stay with you all day. You don't want to know how nutritionally bad what you're eating really is at Chipotle. I especially like the assembly line nature of Chipotle. No frills. Where do I even start? I'd like to say I am a huge fan of chipotle, their food quality is outstanding. It's almost idiot proof to make too. This location by far was the slowest and most inefficient establishment to ever exist. I mean what place at more people standing and waiting in line than people sitting down and actually eating? Oh wait, this place. I am talking it took us 15 minutes in line to get even up to the food row. There were more than enough staff, they were just highly inefficient, especially the individual who starts off the bowl or burrito or taco, there was even a point where there was 4 individuals standing around. Seriously isn't it supposed to be an assembly line? Here's the take away from this review..make sure you have lots of time and patience; if not go next door to noodle and company. Chipotle is great once a month. I like the soft tacos (ask for rice, they are more filling). Remember to change it up -- you can make anything here! Get a salad with fajita vegetables, two kinds of meat, and two kinds of salsa. They only charge extra for the "extra meat" and guacamole! Load it up! Their chips are made with fresh squeezed lime juice and kosher salt. So yummy! Try the hot salsa mixed with the sour cream - something smooth with a bite to dip your chips into. Also, my husband loves the vinaigrette dressing -- but he pours it over his burrito bowl. I am not a fan but he really likes the taste. We also love calling Chipotle "Chipoodle." I can only eat here about once a month because for the rest of the day I have "chipotle" mouth. Buy some gum! I love chipotle, but this location was disappointing. Employees seemed super distracted and weren't paying attention. I mobile ordered a veggie burrito, & later when I took a big bite and it was full of chicken. As a vegetarian it was just disappointing to have that happen. This Chipotle location consistently provides great service that is quick and friendly! My boyfriend and I eat Chipotle about 8-10 times a month because it is our favorite! I order the burrito bowl: chicken, white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, hot salsa, sour cream, corn, lettuce, and guacamole (worth the $1.95). I absolutely love their steak burritos. Steak burrito with black beans, white rice, sour cream, and cheese. Double meat. Granted I can only make this splurge roughly once a month due to the calories alone. But my goodness is it amazing! For the record, I can't stand Mexican food. But this is really good. I had to deduct a star for the parking situation though. I would come here more often if I didn't have to fight for a parking spot every single time. I quit going to Chipotle after all the food scares of the past few years, but I decided to give it another try today. Big mistake. This location used to be top notch, was always clean and had super friendly staff. Today the staff could not have been less interested in me or my order. Rudest group of employees imaginable. They ignored my portion requests, rarely looked at me or acknowledged me. When another customer and I told the cashier they were out of forks, she made it clear she was not happy to help us and literally slammed the refilled container of forks back into the counter slot. I joked to the other customer (who was laughing with me at the rudeness of the staff) that it was a good thing we didn't ask for more knives. Being a new shop I decided to stop in and look around. I'm not a stranger to the chain or its offerings and ordered one of my usual meals, a chicken bowl. Watching the staff prepare my meal I noticed that they seemed to be cutting the usual potions in half. The final assembled meal proved this correct as the bowl was barely half filled and the bottom of the bowl was still exposed. Sitting down to eat, I found the meal to be cool with cold spots through it. Along with the tempature of the food it lacked flavor. Eating bland "Mexican" food is a bit unsettling. Not an experience I want to repeat for sure. So for my first experience at this new Chipotle, it did not make a good impression, I'll stick with Qdoba as the food has flavor and is warm. read more

I used to really like eating here a lot. I even recommended this location to friends. I love that Chipotle uses free range chickens, and that they seem to care about the environment. BUT the last two times I have been there, I have watched as the angry-looking man in the kitchen area sharpens the knife he uses to cut the chicken and beef, and then IMMEDIATELY returns to cutting the meat without washing or even wiping off the knife. Anyone who has ever sharpened a knife knows that small, metal shards are all over a knife afterward, and when this cook just goes and cuts the meat, the customers end up eating the steel from the knife. Not only gross, but dangerous. I mentioned this to the cashier who actually laughed about it. Too bad, because, like I said, I used to really enjoy this place. read more

The only reason I go to this Chipotle is because it's close by. The line is always long and because of it, the employees look exhausted and irritated at you for inconveniencing them with your hunger. The food is good, same as any other location. But if you want to be waited on by pleasant and courteous staff, try the one on Center. read more
