I like to update reviews when I see a marked difference in the performance of the establishment. I stopped patronizing this location because of the LONG wait time detailed in my original review of this location from 2014. I was here a few weeks back and I ordered through their app. When I arrived 15-20 minutes after placing the order, the order was ready on a rack, where I assume they put their "DoorDash/GrubHub/Postmates" items also. In the past, they have had lines out the door and it was very frustrating to get a "quick serve" experience, which is the basis of their entire concept. I have also visited without a pre-order and they have gotten things under control. Even on high traffic days with mass text offers and/or nurses/teacher appreciation days, they seem to manage the lines well. Kudos on the improvement. read more

I completed a survey and sent an email and received no response, so maybe if I post here, someone will pay attention. I placed an online order yesterday that was supposed to be ready by 9:10. I didn't get it until 9:42. As I waited for my food, I noticed roaches scurrying in and out of the wooden wall where the drink dispenser is housed. When I got my food, I pointed it out to am employee, and they didn't really seem to care. I completed a survey about the pest problem and sent an email to the company. I threw my order in the trash and went elsewhere and I won't be back. Gross. I visited this facility on a Sunday around 6PM. I ordered a chicken bowl, chicken burrito and two kids BYO. Arriving at 5:35, their line is always long. Decided to wait because this is what my kids wanted. Once I am the second person before ordering people start to wait off to the side and another guest starts complaining there is no chicken. Everyone was asking how long and the two gentleman on the line packing the food just kept saying they don't know the chicken needed to be cut up. There is one girl on the register restocking and refilling items, not acknowledging anyone. Two other girls and a manager doing online orders. Manager can see 1. The line is wrapped around the store 2. Sees people are asking multiple questions and never once decided to come over and explain what the issue was. She then proceeds to start filling chip bags. At this point there are 4 people waiting for chicken. The manager packaging chip bags, when you would think a manager is to be trained in all aspects of a restaurant. Doesn't take the initiative to come to the front and start cutting up chicken. It is now my turn to order because there's multiple people waiting for chicken. I ask for steak, the gentleman then explains there is no steak either. I said roughly about how long will it be? He said he didn't know that it's not even cooked yet. I said well when is someone going to decide to speak to customers letting them know of the issue. His response was he did not know. A gentleman from the back now comes to the front and starts cutting up the chicken. I pay at 6:03. I scan my rewards and for some reason did not get any points for what I paid for. Then I had asked for apple juice for the two kid BYO and they apple juice were hot as if they were just delivered out of a food truck. There were almost no utensils, there were no napkins at all. My family was already sitting down waiting for me to bring the food. Halfway through our meal my 3 year old son starts to freak out because he notices a roach came onto the bench he was sitting on where he was eating. Came here since it was the closest location to my house. Everyone working had an attitude and sour look on their face like they didn't want to be here. They give you smaller than normal portions and were out of practically everything. The woman behind me was asking what the meats were and if they had chicken. The worker said they didn't have chicken but they had pollo asado. She was talking so low the woman kept having to repeat herself. She then asked what is in the pollo asado and the girl just stared at her. Will definitely not be back to this location. I will drive to the other side of Pearland to get better service. Absolute disaster. Trash on tables and on floors,, no plastiwear or napkins for customers, employees won't refill the plastic ear and napkins when requested. Well, my husband suggested we try Chipotle again! Well long story short, I placed my order online for pickup. Online it showed my order would be ready at 8 pm. My husband left ahead of time and said 5 people were ahead of him waiting to pick up their orders none of which were ready...like ours wasn't. He arrived at 8:05 pm and left at 8 25 pm! He said they had 4-5 people on the food line but they were talking to each other instead of working and he could have gotten in the serving line and received his order faster! The food was cold when he came home and the order was incorrect. He spoke with management when he was there asked for just a refund but was told they'd get his order; no apology for poor service. First off the the rice didn't have any cilantro and was super mushy , the fajita mix was still crunchy because they didn't grill/ sauté long and the flavor was just bland and not there at all . You don't go to Chipotle seeking a flavorful experience. If you do, you will be sorely disappointed. Anyway, I'm on a high protein low carb kick so figured I'd give the cauliflower rice a try. What a mistake!!!! Flavorless mess and caused my bowl to accumulate massive amounts of water (see pic). Nothing can take the place of the Chipotle classic lime cilantro rice. The cauliflower was an epic fail in my opinion. Better to go without rice. I really wish they would do a better job with seasoning their beans. I got both black and pinto and both were bland. No matter how much salsa and sauces they add, you will still need to add your own if you like flavor. Fortunately, they do a decent job with their meats. The burrito is hefty! My husband who can eat quite a bit could only do half. I think they need to reduce the amount of rice they add to the burrito. As for price, both dishes cost $17. Not bad especially since 1 entree can last 2 or more meals. The line was looong but service was swift. Final grade: C I guess I'll go back in another 2 years when the craving hits again. read more

Extremely unsanitary. I wouldn't be surprised if they failed health inspections. No mask enforcement which is still required according to their signs. Customer was speaking and leaning all over and around side of glass protecting food. Employees themselves not wearing masks properly. I love love chipotle!!! And I've been to this one location 3 times and every time it's something. The drink machines were broken. As for The serving staff, "hearing" converted for my order appears to be heard, "all 3 bowls are the same" but failed to complete as requested. Music over head is usually not working and if there is music, it's from a sound unit behind. It's always "something" and this place is packed with a wait 8-11 people ahead of you, but is smooth move. The last three times I've come here, it's taken over 20 minutes in line to get food. Tonight, the mine was wrapped around the building and it took23 minutes for me to they to the front. I counter 4 people behind the counter. 1 was only working the cash register and didn't help the others when the line was long. The other three were too busy making Uber orders to work the line. Very frustrating. I don't think I'm coming back. It's happened too many times. Food is good but this isn't supposed to be a thirty minute experience. They literally had us standing there watching them fix Uber orders and nobody was serving thr mine that was wrapped around the index of the restaurant! We used to come here weekly because it is such a great value and they always had the food ready at the promised time if you order online. This has changed in the last couple of weeks. If you order online your food will still be 20-30 minutes late and they will most likely mess up your order and forget your chips. I do want to keep coming to this place, but it really isn't worth it. The line is also usually fairly long. I hardly go to this location but when I do go is always something. The first time I went they drowned my bowl with sour cream it just wasn't right it looked like soup had to just throw it away . The second time was an online order and they hardly put any meat like if I ordered a salad . I love chipotle but this location needs to do a lot better. This location has poor and slow service, they are frequently out of ingredients or saving the ingredients for their own online orders. was literally told they had chips. Buy one girl just to be told that the chips were only for online orders by another. I live close, so I've been here on numerous occasions, but this last time will likely be my last. also not the cleanest chipotle, I've ever been in, the trash was literally overflowing, and no one tended to it. The servers were rude and I waited in line for at least 30 minutes waiting for them to restock rice and beans.
