I wanted to order online but my husband claims they will give you larger portions when you're looking the staff members in the face. Who knows? We came for dinner on a weekday. Only a few people in front of us and the line moved quickly. I got the bowl with beef barbacoa. You go down the line and can customize it. Got it with brown rice and black beans, some lettuce, some salsas. Scanned my QR code for the discount and to get my points and we were on our way. Chipotle is good in a pinch but it's not amazing food. It was pretty salty. The beef barbacoa is like shredded beef and decently tasty. My go-to is usually the carne asada. Surprised they even have 2 stars. Went in to pick up an order we placed online. First they said I ordered it for the wrong time and gave me an order sheet that was not my order. The last few visits were good, today's visit not so. I I ordered the Chicken Bowl, one of the workers brought out a new batch of guacamole and mixed it with the container sitting there which was slightly brown. Worker asked his superior and she told him to mix it. They brought fresh cheese and had a spoonful of guacamole in it. I asked the worker for guacamole and said not the brown part. Really frustrating experience at this Chipotle. I ordered two chicken quesadillas with three sides, but the staff clearly didn't listen. They somehow assumed I wanted two kids' meals. When I tried to clarify at checkout, they offered another quesadilla, but both ended up with no chicken completely plain. On top of that, at checkout they told me that the machine for the larger quesadilla apparently wasn't working, so they just made the small kids' version. So disappointed First of all I do like eating at chipotle. The chicken here is seasoned well and it has good flavor. The red hot sauce is delicious and it's one of my favorites I always add it to my bowl and I always get an extra serving with chips. I've come to this location many times and my bowl is well prepared and the serving is a good amount to fill me up. However, today I ordered chipotle for lunch and had it door dashed. While eating my chicken bowl I noticed that I only had 1/2 the serving of what you regularly get if you dine in. I like a good amount of lettuce but it was non existent. Oh, and the chicken, I only found about 6 pieces, are you kidding me. I feel jipped and this is not my moneys worth. If Im going to get half the meal then I should pay half the price. I came here for a plain bean and cheese burrito. They told me first that it was over $9. I said oh no no no thats not right; its supposed to be a couple bucks. They called over a female who Im guessing might have been a manager. She said it was $5.80. I mentioned that the same thing is $2.99 in Gilroy and Morgan Hill, she said, "Well they are a different state. Ive been working here for 2 years and we haven't had a wage increase that whole time. If she hates her pay rate than she should find a new job. I told her a tortilla is supposed to be free, she said no. After I left I looked it up and yep.. supposed to be free and if you want an additional one it is 25 cents..... so why was I charged 50 cents and an additional $1.60 for a tortilla that is supposed to be free or 25 cents. So should have been $1.60 (beans) + $1.60 (cheese) + .50 (tortilla) = $3.70 The girl had an attitude and said corporate sets the prices and I can contact corporate if I have a issue. Servings here are more skimp than not but every once in a blue moon I get lucky. The employees do their job of scooping and that's pretty much where all the customer service ends, don't come here expecting too much. Speed of service is slow and I wouldn't recommend this Chipotle if you're in a rush or are starving to death. Food is pretty good but the tortilla chips are just too salty for my tastebuds. This will always be my favorite Chipotle location in San Jose and has been for the past few years. I have been here twice within the past month, and I am never let down by the service or portion sizes. The employees are always polite, friendly, and generous with the portion sizes. There is both indoor and outdoor seating! I always order burrito bowls. My burrito bowl order consists of chicken, lettuce, salsa, vegetables, corn, sour cream, and white rice. The ingredients are always fresh (especially the salsa! you can really tell by the taste of it and the chopped tomatoes in it) , and the amount of sour cream they give satisfies my love for it. The chicken is always seasoned perfectly, and it is cut into large, perfectly sized chunks. Whenever I skip over ingredients in my order, the employee asks if I'm sure I want none of that in my burrito bowl, which helps if I accidentally forget to add something. Also, the cashier always wishes me a good day. This will always be one of my favorite restaurants and my favorite Chipotle location; the service and food are impeccable. read more

I am the embodiment of the wholesome child from Vine whose famous line was: "ohh my God, I love Chipotle. Chipotle if my lifeeeee." That is literally me whenever I go to Chipotle. But this special location is really something special mainly because of the portions they give. Not only that, the chicken pieces are literal CHUNKS. They straight up don't fool you in any way. I also remembered asking for extra corn and they filled that small to go cup to the brim. They were not skimpy at all with it. When I was eating, I had such a hard time finishing the bowl :( but my mother raised me to not waste any food so I was able to push through and finish it all !!
