Solid chipotle when you don't visit during rush hour. There's convenient 2hr free parking, and it's a short walk from the ND campus. Generally, no complaints about portions. However during the times that I have gone during rush hour in the past three years, I have gotten smaller portion sizes. Examples of beta portions---less than one full scoop of meat, easy to mix my bowl (which should never happen), and containers of guac that are not full. Excuse me, I believe I paid $1.95 plus tax for that, so I expect that guac container to be bursting full every time. My most recent visit during rush hour, the lady who scooped me guac decided she gave me too much guac and decided to shave some off the first half inch of my container. Um No, don't deprive me of my guac rights. Then I got charged for double meat when I got my beta portion of steak. I literally asked the cashier, "does it look like I even have one full scoop of meat in there? How can I possibly have gotten double meat?" Anyway, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were very tired and busy. Still, not an excuse for shaving off my guac. Moral of the story is to avoid this place during rush hour and check what you get charged for before paying. Otherwise, good. read more

I visited this location after a nearby location said they were out of chicken because of a large catering order. When I walked in the door, they said they could only do online orders because their machines/system had broken. This was totally fine with me, but then the online order system would not take my order ... it kept giving me an error when I tried to submit. I would have just gone somewhere else, but my husband and I needed to get to the airport for our flight and this pregnant mama couldn't go without food. When I told the workers that the online order wasn't working for me either, they went ahead and made my order anyways, free of charge. Chipotle is one of my favorite fast food places, but today, they earned even more respect from me. Major props and blessings to everyone working here. You're awesome! read more

This Chipotle really struggles to keep it's restaurant and bathrooms clean. Things are always a mess and not maintained regularly enough. If you're like me and also have a low tolerance for Notre Dame students, I would avoid this location since that is 90% of its customer base. College students coming in fairly large groups makes the lines long and seating options limited. No issues with the food per se -- you've eaten at one chipotle, you've eaten at them all. read more

I have never been to Chipotle before. I walked in and said that my husband placed an order on line where do I pick that up at, the young man behind the counter barked at me "If it's not on the stand then it's not ready." The place was very trashy. Food all over the counter, the floor was covered with litter. I can understand if you're busy but there was me and one other person in the restaurant at the time. My husband ordered and paid for sour cream, guacamole, questo blanco and chips, we got none of them. The scene was chaotic and no one seem to know what to do. Sometimes people make mistakes and that is ok. When people make mistakes over and over again, there is a problem. The workers at this Chipotle have 0 clue how to give online orders to the right people. The name of the person ordering is on the bag. The name of the order is tagged to the item. Horrible staff who couldn't care less about providing good customer service. They're very rude, no attempts at being friendly to customers. The overall attitude is that they do not want you there and its too much of a hassle for them to actually do their jobs properly. They're constantly out of ingredients and will make no effort to apologize for inconvenience. Food is prepared very messily. I have been to many Chipotle's across the country, but the one on Eddy Street is the best by far. The ingredients somehow seem fresher, and the staff is more professional and proficient. My only "complaint" is that the line is literally down the street - but that is a testament to how great this Chipotle is. My love of chipotle has wained over the years, probably from eating too much of it. But every once in a while I crave it and it was one of those days yesterday. My husband has been to this location without me and loved it, probably would give it four stars, but my experience was a little less than stellar so giving it a three to even it out. I went for take out. Got a chicken and a steak burrito with chips and guacamole in the side. The burritos were good, and the guacamole was just right. The chips were really weird though. Most of them were soft. Not sure if they were not prepared properly, stale or left in a really humid area for too long. Service was so so as well. Took a while to get our order going and then for the cashier to to ring us up. I'm sure we'll be back. We really enjoy chipotle's fresh menu. Just hope the service and chip experience this time was a one time thing. read more

Absolutely never ready on time. I wouldn't show up before a half hour after they tell you your order will be ready. Incompetent staff, they shut down the main line so it's only online orders and the kitchen is completely inefficient, putting out one bag of food every 5-10 minutes. Staff is nice but the final product makes it hard to believe that this is actually a chipotle. The food does not taste fresh and lacks any flavor. Most classmates that I know drive to the next chipotle over when they are craving it saving this one only for incredibly hungover times when they can't make it passed the foundry. I came to this particular Chipotle about a month ago. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Wow, did I find out. The first night I just lied in bed, staring at ceiling, unable to process the incredible flavor. I looked over to my husband, once so dear to me, and realized he paled in comparison to my meal. His hair seemed grayer, his skin less smooth. Soon after I realized how terrible my job was. I once loved being an architect, but my heart only wanted to build another burrito. As my work performance faded, so did my boss' patience. I was fired. I went home, got in an argument with my husband and struck my youngest, Timothy. My husband took the kids and I haven't seen any of them since. My life has become an empty shell, my days filled with insane expectations and disappointment. I am truly the saddest man alive. Alright, the raving reviews could be true but in my case this Chipotle has disappointed me twice in a row. I have been a customer of this Chipotle location for 2 years now. It had been good but the last 2 times, the rice was raw (uncooked). After the first time, I even reported it to them but it didn't seem to concern them much. The associate was too busy running the orders. I hope it was a one time oversight and was disappointed the next time too. The second time, my wife confirmed that her bowl too had uncooked rice. Both times I bought at or after 9:30pm - maybe its a pattern as it nears close. Still, I feel they cannot be compromising on quality. Hope they take a look into this matter. read more

First of all parking area stinks way to small but not uncommon in this town. Got to this location about 10:50 a.m. and tried to go in thru front door but couldn't because it was locked so I stood there thinking someone would eventually see me from inside and unlock the door since sign showed they opened at 10:30 a.m. even though website says they open at 10:45. Walked around to other side and that was the only door unlocked facing the back. When I got in there there were seven (7) yes seven employees on a Tuesday. Surprised to see so many but ok. Place was filthy behind the counter it doesn't appear anyone prepared the area or food for the new day. The sautéed green peppers/onions were burnt to a crisp everything looked old and dried out from the night before. Guacamole took on a life of its own. Meal did not taste fresh. What a let down. In a town where there are few who have a pride in service and product step up to the plate and be better Chipotle. Don't settle because the majority do here. read more
