I was in the store yesterday evening around dinner time and the place was packed. I had placed a to-go order that wasn't quite ready when I got there. The gentleman working the to-go orders was clearly busy filling a multitude of orders. I watched him as he meticulously reviewed each order and quickly assembled the food at a very strong pace. When I received my order, which was complicated, I was very pleased to see that it was 100 percent correct. Before leaving I asked for his name. It was filthy dirty. Bathrooms were disgusting. Urine in the rioters and on the floor. No paper towels to wipe your hands. In the dining area there were dirty tables, overflowing garbage cans, dirty windows. The counters around the food containers there was dried crust food. I got a half barbacoa half chicken bowl which was about $12. When I got there the line was moving pretty quickly until the customer in front of me went off on the associate. That backed things up, so both employees went to tend to her situation. I stood there for 2 minutes feeling stuck. She said the wrong toppings so when they added it she said it was her mistake, she wasn't actually listening, and they threw the bowls away. (Why, I'd have gladly taken them.) So the guy behind the counter seemed a little agitated, I think his agitation was because they were low on food. We were being served the end of what was left, so she was unhappy. I do agree with her frustration regarding the small amount we were served and the fact that it wasn't fresh. I don't agree with how she put the employee on blast in front of everyone. He chose not to respond which further enraged her. She seemed to just want acknowledgement. But he may have been shy. It was blown out of proportion in my eyes. So when I got to the counter to pay the energy was off and everyone looked bothered. I tried to console the gentleman but you could tell he was holding back. He was kinda short when it was my turn but I kinda understand. Maybe we could be a little more friendly to people making our food. People are worried about what's in the food, but me I'm worried about their intentions after pissing them off as well. Nope!!! Lol. The food was ok. Chipotle is Chipotle. I had to ask for more rice, and she did give me a little extra,but I did notice they pay more attention to the amount they give you now, versus before your bowl would be busting open. Pretty crap service! Zach was making my mom's salad, and while moving her bowl, a portion of the pico fell off onto the counter. Instead of using a spoon, he used his hands to scoop the pico off the counter and put it on her salad. I go to this Chipotle every once in a while after my workout. I try to get double everything because I save some for the following day. I always get a burrito bowl and I haven't been to a Chipotle in quite some time because of past issues with food quality. I was very skeptical at eating my food because from the pictures it looks absolutely delicious; however, it was not the case. I had more rice and lettuce than anything (Rice,Beans,Sour Cream, and Cheese are the only things I don't double). I was fairly disappointed because it was Cold. My gym and Chipotle are a minute drive from each other and I ordered it through the app 9 minutes before pick up time. When I use to get double protein, my entree would be stacked high and I could tell I got double chicken or double steak. I pay nearly an extra $3.50 for double chicken and I get the same amount of chicken for someone who doesn't pay the extra money. I got my fiancé double steak which is nearly an extra $5 and there was barely in his either. I did give this a 3 star review because the presentation was nice and the food was prepared and done by the time it said would have been done. If the portion sizes and temperature of the food reflected the $30 I spent here the review could have been better. read more

I am officially done with this location! When I go there is always something wrong or they are always out of key ingredients. It never fails! The staff lack customer services skills and have no regard for sanitation. They don't clean up the food areas. I've watch them drag their gloved hands over all kind of different surfaces including their clothes and their hair and they don't change them. They just go back to fixing your food. The preparation surfaces are covered with food and they drag your bowls or the foils across it picking up stuff that's been dropped. It's no regard for cleanliness. I can only imagine what their homes must look like. I'm not a picky person at all but when I come to this location. I don't let them serve me any kind of way. I have tell them how to fix my food because they just don't care. If they were being served I'm sure they wouldn't want their food fixed like that but then who knows because they don't treat customers the way they would want to be treated. It's a mess. They had corn and lettuce and all king of other ingredients from other pans in the guac because they don't care enough to fix stuff properly. They had old dried brown rice sitting in the warmer. The girl upfront called for more rice before I got up to order but no one came to bring anything. When it was my turn I asked her how long would it be to get more rice because it was dry. She said she wasn't sure if anymore was ready. I asked her could she ask. She proceeds to say she don't work in that station??? WTF?? It don't matter what station she is working in. She could simply ask her co-worker how long it would take. So I told her she need to ask them if she didn't know. Your employees have to understand as customers we see them as representatives of Chipotle. We don't care what station they are assigned to work at. They all should be able to help and serve any customer at any time. It's evident there is a training, morale, and/or a maturity issue with your staff. I am not sure if a manager was there or not because no one stood out as one, but as the leader of that store the issues start and end with them because their is no accountability. I didn't even waste my time asking for one because this location trends in poor food quality and poor customer service. I agree with the person who posted a review a month ago. This location just needs to be shut down at this point because it's a bad representation of your brand. I hope someone at the corporate level takes these bad reviews you are receiving for face value. It's rated 2 stars for a reason. Please send a regional leader, trainer, and/or someone in quality assurance department (if you have one) to this location to address these issues. This location is a liability! And please don't contact me just to offer a gift card to soften the blow of a bad review. My time is value so the fact I am spending it to write this review says alot about how bad things must be. When I opened the cover it looks someone having a bad day and slammed every ingredient they have. I said okay it's fine because I'm so hungry it's okay. But when I started eating the food, I said why it was so salty. It's unbearable to eat, I will get a kidney infection. I'm serious, the food is so salty. Bobby. This manager at this place is extremely RUDE. I heard her speaking to a worker that was EXTREMELY nice and got me my order WITH WAY more vigor and pristine work ethic. She comes over and starts berating this poor worker (he is a male). During this he tried to explain that the other manger or someone higher I believe, told him to get off at 8. It was 8:25 and he tried to say he tried to stay a bit after. Even then I watched him go up to the counter to get food and she was back talking him once again and yelling that he needs to be responsible and it doesn't matter what the other manger said. And his opinion didn't matter. She was VERY undermining to the tithe workers. Even right after being super friendly and smiley to others but frowning upon him. She did ALL of this in front of the workers and CUSTOMERS. (The workers name was John, such an incredible and hard worker and gave me recommendations and other tips for coming in the future for queso etc. great pairings together etc) all props to John. I hope they get a new manger because this Bobby person, is EXTREMELY RUDE. EDIT: Another comment I wanted to add to this as I was leaving. I watched this adorable couple get laughed at and pointed at by this SAME manager. Bobby was laughing and smiling. This Chipotle is located in the Landstown Commons Shopping Center. The shopping center is accessible from both Princess Anne Rd. and Dam Neck Rd. (each of them have traffic lights). I have been here several times now and have had issues every time I have been here over the past year or so. My most recent visit to this location was on July 6, 2021, but will likely be the last time I come to this location for a while. The reason for the visit on July 6, 2021 was due to a notification I received that they were offering BOGO entrées after 3 om that day. We came in the evening, and as expected, the line was a good size due to ongoing promotion that day. The wait in the line was about 25 minutes, but that wasn't a surprise. Once we got up to make our entrées, they were very rushed, like they were trying to push things through a little too quickly, as things were getting slopped around there, but in doing so, they ended up putting the wrong beans on my mom's order (pinto instead of black beans). She did try saying something to them, but it got ignored, probably because they were trying to speed through the line. After it was done, we went over the register to pay where Kenyatta was at. I had let her know we were here for the BOGO offer. However, after paying for it, I didn't realize that she never put it in as the BOGO, so I came back in went back to the cashier. Kenyatta was trying to ignore me after I came back in (avoiding eye contact), but she couldn't once I said something to her. Her excuse then was that we never told her, even though she actually acknowledged it during the original transaction. After that, I tried asking for a manager, but she was then just ignoring me, so it was at that time I just left and ended up sending the situation via email to corporate Chipotle. To add context, I have had her as a cashier in prior visits. In one of those prior visits, I was there for the Guac Mode that was active through Chipotle (free guacamole side). In that visit, she tried doing the QR code, but it didn't work. Then they tried that way and still didn't work. The response then was oh well, we can't do it since it doesn't work. I asked for a manager, but then it was also a lost cause as they said they were not available. Overall, I have not had many good experiences here as of late. Service is underperforming and they really acted like they didn't care. They weren't actively listening to what was wanted. There wasn't any active listening at the register as well, and then tried to blame it on me. The leadership definitely needs to look at retraining some of their associates. For me, this most recent experience was the third strike (one that I didn't mention was from late 2020 when we ordered delivery, and it came late and cold because the driver decided to pick up other orders and drop those off first after picking my order up first). On that incident, we ended up driving there to have it re-done because of that. On the food side of things on this recent visit, except for the error they did on my mom's order, the food was still really good. It's the service and other aspects that need some attention. If you are looking for a Chipotle specifically in the area, I'd look at one of the other ones in the area, as there are plenty of them around. Just to note the final outcome from corporate, they gave us 2 free entrées for a future visit, but will definitely use it at a different location. I am glad that corporate looked at it and sending what happened to their district managers and such. Hopefully things will get better there in the future. read more

I went there the night before the snowstorm came. I ordered a chicken bowl from their app. Not spicy just a plain chicken bowl. I got home and it had beef and chicken and it was super spicy. I didn't want to drive back, so I ate half of it. About an hour to hour and a half later I was in the bathroom. I have eaten Chipotle before and even this same item but never ended up sick. I didn't make it to work, and was sick until the next day. Called to tell them, couldn't get anyone on the phone. Used the app to order and complain and still couldn't get a person. Then I went to the store and spoke with the manager on duty (who was really nice) who couldn't refund me, who then called her boss, Kortney Houk, who was quite rude and was really laid back about a wrong order causing food poisoning. Customer service is truly a lost art. So, no unless you want a trip to the ER or explosive diarrhea don't go to this location. Oh & here's the kicker, if you order through the app you can't get your money back. So I tipped to get really sh***y service! Never again. read more

We order from here often since we have been taking advantage of delivery and it's the closest to us, but almost every time, something is missing from our order, chips are overcooked, rice is undercooked, and this most recent time, there was some meat in my vegan tacos. It is clear the employees do not care here. After each order with a mistake(s), I contact customer service via the app, and they are generous to give free entrees and sides for future orders, but what difference does it make when the order is constantly wrong? I looked around some tables are marked closed. However, each table was dirty even the closed table had food on them. so there was no practice of wiping the tables down at least not while I was there. Got in line walked up to place my order and there was food everywhere,like a bomb blew up. A lot of cross food contamination the server just stirred the food pieces in the sour cream.
