Samet & Adithya are outstanding!! A true feather in the cap of the Chipotle model. I drive completely out of my way to this specific location, because I can count on getting my food done correctly, made with care, wrapped correctly and not slapped together like other locations in CT. It matters if food is prepared to please the eyes, and it always does, and the taste is always on point. It is also nice that you're greeted with a smile and well mannered people who treat you with respect too. Samet & Adithya are consistently great, as is Lisette. They are the reason my family and I take the trip here. They deserve the recognition, as other Chipotle locations pale in comparison!! read more

That was literally the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. There were 2 customers ahead of me when I came in to order, but I stood waiting in line for around 20 minutes. The staff were all unfriendly with low energy. The store was filthy and there wasn't a single seat without food scraps on it. They were out of fajita veggies, chicken, lettuce, and guac, and nobody seemed to want to cook any more for the night. Just awful. Skip this Chipotle and go somewhere else! read more

I went there with my family on our way back to NY. They were out of several ingredients. Steak, Guacamole, ice in the drink machine. On top of that, food was all over the counter, there was trash piled up at the trash cans and the tables were filthy. The cashier never bothered to clean the counter or do anything except ring people in. The other three workers were trying their best to keep up but did not communicate well to the cook when things ran out. I have been to a few bad Chipotles and lots of good ones. Pretty standard in terms of food. 5 stars for the super kind and hard working employees who were nice enough to take my order over the phone shortly before closing. I placed an order for my food. I paid for my food and I had to wait for the food that I already had paid for because something was not ready not a big deal. I'll wait I'm not in a rush as a young man very politely asked me what I wanted in my bowl. I told him he starts packing it up. He gives it to me and asked me if I paid for it, I looked at him and I said I believe I did, but let me just double check with the little girl that has red hair in this Wallingford restaurant that was working the front and cashing paying customers out. Hey, did I pay for this? Her body language, the eye rolling no eye contact, and then she says yeah you paid. That just threw me over the edge. I will never step foot in this restaurant. She obviously needs a class on customer service! Poor kid looked afraid of her. My family ordered from this location for takeout. When I got home and opened my burrito bowl I was shocked at the color of the guacamole. It was a dark brown. I gave it a try and it tasted like it had turned. Once I scraped the guacamole out, the rest of the bowl was pretty good. Additionally, the chips were stale. Chipotle seems to pride itself on serving fresh, quality food. Unfortunately that was not my experience today. read more

This is one of the best Chipotles around. Everything is always super fresh, the meat never looks like it's been sitting for long, and the servers are generous with their servings. While the food is delicious, this rating is for ordering online. You are asked to chose a pick up time. It's as soon as 10 minutes. Yet it's NEVER ready even if you're late. Tonight our order was supposed to be done at 5:10pm. We did not get our order until 5:47pm. That is just unacceptable. This location is everything a Chipotle is NOT supposed to be. Having been there a few times since it's opened, the portion sizes are going DOWN and the customer service has shrunk to non-existent. That is, when they actually have the food prepared (not that hard as there are only about a dozen different items). As others may have mentioned, you get about 1/2 what you normally would at any other location. They fry the chips in the store, so I can't understand why the last two times I have gotten them they were stale. As mentioned, getting smaller portions there as well. The employees don't seem to pay much attention and seem like they're doing the bare minimum, when things are brought to their attention they are very unsympathetic and borderline rude. read more

this chipotle fucking sucks, they never have shit, they always say "we don't have any more of that" when it's something as basic as sour cream. like what do you mean you don't have sour cream?? what do you mean you don't have chips??? those are essentials. get your ordering together. and they don't even have the decency to let you know. I always check my bag before I go, because there's always something missing. like what if I didn't have time to check, and I got all the way home, and took a bite into my burrito, and found out there was no sour cream? how hard is it to at least say "by the way we're out of sour cream." it's one thing to not have it, but it's another thing to throw salt on the wound by not having the decency to make me aware of it. and I get it, I work in food service, I get that they don't get paid shit. I've been paid minimum wage and have felt at times that minimum effort is necessary, but these are basic requirements of the job, really nothing above and beyond. don't even get me started on the wait times. multiple times I have arrived and they don't even know I have an order in until i say my name and they realize it was on the computer in front of them the whole time. My first order at Chipotle today! The location is off of a main stretch with ample parking. I tried the corn crispy taco (2) with chicken, sour cream, mild salsa, black bean and guacamole. Lettuce on the side. The ordering process is very similar in fashion to Subway. The service was fine and it was not busy when I stopped in. I would expect this place to v very busy during typical lunch hours. The flavor of each ingredient was not overwhelming nor underwhelming. Which was good because I could actually taste the distinct flavors of each ingredient. The taste was not bad and I will certainly be back to try more adventurous menu options. read more

Tried the wallingford location today and was extremely underwhelmed. 2 out of the 4 meals were wrong and the mutant at the register became annoyed when asked to correct the error. Apparently, i should've just eaten what they gave me and not asked any questions. Chipotle in Wallingford was the riskiest situation I've been in since the start of COVID. WAY too crowded and WAY too chaotic because they're WAY too slow. Zero effort to honor their own ready times on pre-scheduled orders. Zero effort to control customer flow. Everyone's looking for their order, and everyone's rifling through the takeout bags. By the time you finally get your order, it's been handled by dozens of random people. I placed my order 90 mins. in advance, and finally got it after a 30 min. in-store wait. I've received good customer service except for a few times when the server seemed to be in a rush to get you out or have a bit of an attitude as though they wish they were not at work. Service was okay, I felt weird when ordering. I got an okay amount of rice in my bowl but still had to ask for more. Then when I went to order my steak, the server literally gave me 9 pieces of steak then when I asked for more I got only around 5 more. So I asked for more and then they said "Sure, so you want double meat?". So then I got double meat and it was the same amount as normal meat at the Westfarms store or the Southington one. Then to top it off, the chips were horrible. They were very buttery and broke when I'd scoop even though they say "crafted for maximum scoopage". My bag was only a 1/4 of full sized chips and the rest was crumbs. I would not come to this chipotle again. read more

I really like Chipotle...it's tasty and you can make it healthy...you would think that after the whole issue they had with ecoli the employees would make damn sure to make sure to not contaminate the food....I was sitting and eating my chicken bowl which I love, and I saw two young girls in the back working with the avocados. One young lady sneezed...( she did turn her head) IN her bare arm and then continued to work with the avocados. I'm sorry but WASH YOUR ARM!!!! I DON'T like seeing this especially after I ate. This review is not for the food. I went into this location a few months ago, at the time with my 2 month old to grab lunch. My husband ordered and I quickly went to the bathroom to change my baby's diaper. Be aware there is no changing station in the woman's bathroom. Luckily I had a portable changing bad or else I would of been stuck changing my baby in the car. My husband and I emailed corporate and all they could say was the demographic in the area doesn't warrant a changing station for the woman's bathroom. This is unacceptable for a corporate company. I visited this location with my coworker a few weeks ago. We got there after the lunch rush and it seemed like none of the employees cared. It took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the counter and the amount of food didn't seem as much as I normally get from the Manchester location. My coworker just had chips and guacamole. She got violently ill off of it- but I'm not sure if it was the guacamole or her own stomach. I felt "off" for the rest of the afternoon and questioned my lunch decision into the evening. I totally agree w/ other posters. I have only been to 1 other Chipotle before, and this one does not even come close. I ordered a burrito bowl w/ steak. The steak was tender and juicy- just enough spice for me. The rest of it was pretty bland, but overall just not as large of a serving as the other location I tried. The outlay of this squeezed so close to Panera makes the parking lot a nightmare. The inside was clean, the staff were polite. Can ANYBODY tell me why they make you ask for spoons and knives? Food tastes fine and was quick but they only get 3 stars for their lack of quantity & stale chips. If you go to literally any other Chipotle they give you 2 big scoops of rice. This place barely gives you half a scoop. Rice is your cheapest items. I worked in the food industry. You're suppose to fill customers up on the cheap stuff so you can go easy on the protein. The chips were also stale. The amount of fresh chips cooked off should only be as much as you can immediately sell. If they sit for more than 20min they're going to get stale. read more
