Update 1/16/26: I figured that I'd go in to give this location another chance. That was a huge mistake. I arrived at 1:30 p.m. and found it odd that the side door was closed/locked. So, I drive drove around to the front and saw that they had locked all of the existing customers in so that they wouldn't have to take new orders/new customers. They are so unprofessional and I'm still shocked that they exist in an area like West Bloomfield. It's such a shame. read more

On a perfectly fine afternoon, my friend and I decided to place an online order at Chipotle, you know, the app specifically designed so you don't have to wait. Bold concept. What happened next was a masterclass in irony. 40 minutes passed. A guy walked in off the street, stood in line, had a full conversation with the cashier, got his burrito bowl, probably ate it, and left -- all before my online order was 'ready.' The app said it was done. The bag said otherwise. Nobody behind the counter made eye contact, nobody offered an update, and the pick-up shelf stood there full and yet useless like it had never heard of my order in its life. At some point I stopped being hungry and just became a witness. Chipotle has built an entire digital ordering system to make your experience faster and more convenient, and somehow they managed to make it slower and more confusing than just walking in and pointing at the guac. Horrible service, extremely rude employees, lack of respect for customers and their time. Usually I am very understanding about the food industry and am very respectful of the pressure the employees are under, but after visiting today I am beyond disappointed. After ordering my steak bowl, I had to wait almost an hour for it to be prepared which is a huge problem because my whole lunch break is an hour long. I had no time to even eat by the time my food was brought out because I spent the whole hour waiting for my food to be prepared. I waited over 30 minutes and I politely asked an employee to check when my food would finally be prepared and this woman gave me so much sass. She threw her hands on the air and said in a very snarked and rude tone "Sure why not?". When she came back she said it's being prepared right now rolling her eyes at me. She then proceeded to complain to her coworker about my asking her to check, as if I had complicated her life so much. As patient and understanding as I am, I did not deserve to be treated with such disrespect for simply asking how much longer after waiting for over 30 minutes (past the time my food was supposed to be prepared!) If you've visited one Chipotle, you've visited them all. Since we're still in a pandemic this location closed their dine in section, and allowed everyone to pick up their order at the door. They've recently reopened so that you can come inside and pick up your order, however I believe you still have to order online. Speaking for myself, the quality of food seems pretty on par with other Chipotle locations, which overall is a good thing. The issue with this location are the poor attitudes of the staff. If you have to ask a question, they'll muster up a little energy to pretend to care before giving you a side eye. I know working in the food service it isn't glamorous at all, and I don't expect the staff to have a smile on their face the entire shift, however it seems all they are generally just irritated with ANYONE who walks in. Ok normally I'm not a review girl, but omg the only reason I keep going to this location is because it semi-close to my house. The service is SO SLOW, a few employees who were not working that night came in and talked to the people working for like 5 minutes and held up the line, they never have everything made, and the employee at the register wouldn't let me scan my app code for point because she said she already put my order into the computer but didn't even give me the chance to take out my phone in time :( The good thing about this place is for the most part, they always give super good portions and the chicken and guac are normally super fresh. read more
