Horrible service, extremely rude employees, lack of respect for customers and their time. Usually I am very understanding about the food industry and am very respectful of the pressure the employees are under, but after visiting today I am beyond disappointed. After ordering my steak bowl, I had to wait almost an hour for it to be prepared which is a huge problem because my whole lunch break is an hour long. I had no time to even eat by the time my food was brought out because I spent the whole hour waiting for my food to be prepared. I waited over 30 minutes and I politely asked an employee to check when my food would finally be prepared and this woman gave me so much sass. She threw her hands on the air and said in a very snarked and rude tone "Sure why not?". When she came back she said it's being prepared right now rolling her eyes at me. She then proceeded to complain to her coworker about my asking her to check, as if I had complicated her life so much. As patient and understanding as I am, I did not deserve to be treated with such disrespect for simply asking how much longer after waiting for over 30 minutes (past the time my food was supposed to be prepared!) On top of all that, I got chicken instead of steak in the steak bowl I ordered. Extremely horrible service and lack of respect for customers and their time!!!!!!! At 4:20 pm they had 7 people working but only 3 actually doing anything. The wait was 30 minutes. None of the tables had been wiped off. Most had food still on it. The drink station was out of ice and the napkins and all silverware was out. I will not return. read more

I guess I should've checked the reviews before I came. This place gives chipotle a bad name across-the-board. Service, freshness of food and my bag of chips is full of small pieces crumbled. First I have to say that the West Bloomfield location closes at 6:00 pm! I wish they would update their website to reflect the new time. Second, I would give my meal 5 stars, the price 3 stars and the hours of operation 3 stars. That is 3.666 so I rounded up to 4. This visit I got a Bowl, with Sofritos, pinto beans, brown rice, guacamole, sour cream, picante, and lettuce. I loved the flavor of the dish. It had a slight lime taste that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, but I liked it. Unfortunately as I mentioned the price was too high for a no-meat dish with vegetables. I ordered a chicken bowl and received one paltry spoon of rice, 2/3 of a spoon of chicken and a smattering of beans. For the price I paid, it seemed outrageous that they would skimp on rice and beans. After paying, we went to locate a table but all were soiled. We picked the least dirty one and started to eat. The poor performance of staff and managers leads to clear violation of COVID protocols. My food was supposed to be ready at 6:30. When I arrived, the restaurant was full of people -- not dining, just waiting for food. It was Impossible to socially distance. The restaurant was running more than 50 minutes behind. At 7:10 I just gave up and and took the loss of $14. The manager was neither apologetic nor did he provide any general information to those of us waiting. I will never return. If you've visited one Chipotle, you've visited them all. Since we're still in a pandemic this location closed their dine in section, and allowed everyone to pick up their order at the door. They've recently reopened so that you can come inside and pick up your order, however I believe you still have to order online. Speaking for myself, the quality of food seems pretty on par with other Chipotle locations, which overall is a good thing. The issue with this location are the poor attitudes of the staff. If you have to ask a question, they'll muster up a little energy to pretend to care before giving you a side eye. I know working in the food service it isn't glamorous at all, and I don't expect the staff to have a smile on their face the entire shift, however it seems all they are generally just irritated with ANYONE who walks in. I know life sucks right now and this isn't some 5 star restaurant but this place needs to pull it together. read more

Worst experience ever for delivery. I ordered a $16 steak burrito- paid extra for steak and guac. I paid a delivery and tip so this burrito cost $30. When it arrived it was 3 inches long and had only steak and guac - nothing else. I called, a rude clerk said they "only" put what is specified in a burrito ( nothing on the web site to add rice, beans...) and if I wanted to drive over they would add things. Imagine the gall! Ok normally I'm not a review girl, but omg the only reason I keep going to this location is because it semi-close to my house. The service is SO SLOW, a few employees who were not working that night came in and talked to the people working for like 5 minutes and held up the line, they never have everything made, and the employee at the register wouldn't let me scan my app code for point because she said she already put my order into the computer but didn't even give me the chance to take out my phone in time :( The good thing about this place is for the most part, they always give super good portions and the chicken and guac are normally super fresh. read more

I don't understand how people are getting hired anymore. Everybody at this location is always miserable. They are cheap as hell with what they are serving you and they get super annoyed when you tell them to add a little extra. The attitude problem and laziness is unbelievable. I'm not sure who is managing this location but in my opinion, you guys need to clear out the whole location and start over with people that actually know how to work in the service industry. I know it's hard to find good staff now but you guys don't need to be that desperate. read more
