    Skimpy "Macho" fry
    Jeremy R.

Gave them a second chance today after a major issue last weekend. I think it was even worse today. They charge $3.49 for the smallest hamburger patty with huge buns. We ordered it no tomato or onion - it was loaded with both in order to get all of the onion off, we had to scrap the bun clean of sauce and lettu r. Ugh! The burger is worth $2 at most. The chicken rollers used to be filled. They barely put any filling in them now. Ordered a Macho fry, and it was filled half way with cold fries. Bleh! The crispy chicken tacos were okay. Not enough to get us to come back though. This was their second chance and they blew it.

My "two tacos meal" = weird bean and beef burrito
    Amanda B.

Drive thru was slow; in line for nearly 10 minutes with only two cars ahead of me. Ordered the two taco meal w a "snack size" order of guacamole and chips, but wound up w a burrito meal. The burrito (beef and bean) was flavorless, and the beef was a really weird pasty/gluey texture--I never thought I'd say this, but Taco Bell would have been a step up. My Coke tasted like someone ashed a cigarette in it, and the guacamole was bland. Not sure what's going on here...? Disappointed w today's experience, since we used to love Del Taco for fast food tacos. Won't go back to this location.

Off busy 14 Mile with a private lot and drivethru. It is a Del Taco. Clean, bright, fast and polite staff. You pour your own drinks inside. As the name suggests, fast food mexican, plus they have shakes. Reasonable sizes and taste for the money

    New dining room! Much needed.

Have I really never reviewed this Del Taco?? No time like the present, I suppose. A few weeks ago I wanted to grab some tacos and they were closed for renovations, although the drive-through was open. I'll be honest: before the renovation, it looked like a sad version of Chuckie (sp?) Cheese or something. The decor was dated, although colorful; everything looked old. Now, it's similar to the Del Taco Livonia location in decor, and everything looks MUCH nicer and more modern. I dined there this past Sunday before a movie at MJR, I had a free taco coupon too (sign up for their e-club!) for the carne asada. I ordered: 1 carne asada taco - their newest taco, I think. Comes with avocado which I don't entirely like, but it's healthy; a pico de gallo; and some steak. The steak was a little stringy, the Livonia location's was better. 1 turkey taco. This might actually be my favorite, I got it with a crunchy shell and pico de gallo. 1 chicken taco. I DON'T know what that white sauce is they use but it's delicious. I get my tacos minus lettuce (because I'm weird) and minus cheese (because dairy and I are not friends), also. I'm liking this location's updated look and will be back. My only regret is that I forgot to use a Del Taco gift card I had, so I paid the $3.50 for the 2 tacos on my credit card instead ... oops.

The sad and hard avocado from the street taco. I think it looks more like a lime wedge, than an avocado?

Went to Del Taco drive-thru to get a quick lunch. The drive-thru worker was very friendly and pleasant when I gave my money and I got my food. She offered sauces as well for my order. I ordered the mini cheddar quesadilla, street taco with chicken, and a regular hard taco. The best food item was actually the regular hard taco. The meat was yummy and hot. The fixings of cheese, tomato, and lettuce were also tasty. The taco itself tasted great and the meat wasn't greasy like I feel it is with Taco Bell. The next taco - street taco with chicken. They do try to make it seem like you just got it off a food truck with it being wrapped in aluminum. I didn't realize the taco itself is two corn tortillas. Now, I am not a fan of corn tortillas the texture and taste remind me of feet or something (I know, I am weird). The flavors of the chicken with onions and cilantro give it a nice bite. However, the most disappointing aspect of the street taco was the sad slice of avocado. The actual size of the avocado I thought was decent, but the avocado itself when I tried it was hard. I was expecting a creamy/yummy avocado to go along with the spicy cilantro and onion, but instead the avocado was way too firm. I happened to have guacamole at work, so I used my dip with the taco and it tasted great. Finally, the mini quesadilla. The portion is small, it is called a mini! It was the perfect size for me, but the cheddar cheese inside seemed like it had been sitting waiting for someone to order it for hours. The cheese was pretty much hard, so I was a little sad. Overall, the customer service at this location was great. The food was decently good, but could have improved in a few places. Now - I know I should have also taken pictures of all this before eating, but I was too hungry! I did take a picture of the sad avocado, because I obviously didn't eat that. I would go to Del Taco again though and try something else.

    Epic Beyond Cali Burrito

You are seriously going to charge me ten dollars for this Epic Beyond Cali Burrito, which is missing half of the ingredients (pico de gallo and French fries) and is mostly a slop of sour cream and weird inedible goo on a tortilla? Completely ridiculous.

Located on Woodward, there is ample street parking. I didn't realize that Little Ghost is more of a fast food joint versus restaurant. You get to pick the temperature of your burger which makes elevates the experience. Have you ever ordered a medium burger at a fast food joint?! Nope! That was a nice touch. Everything was well touch out to the colors and interior pictures to the menu. So cute. Love the vibrant colors. Absolutely obsessed! Everyone was nice. Ordered a single, a double, two drinks and fries. Totally was 34$. Very expensive I feel. Food was good though. I did enjoy the burger. The single was enough. They don't have any toppings for the burger besides cheese, lettuce and their ghost sauce (basically mayo, pickles and maybe tomatoes). They do have packets of ketchup and mustard if you ask. Fries were fresh and you can tell. This was my favorite thing. They were actually very good. I didn't care for the fancy sauce too much though. But the size of the fries are shareable I feel. Overall I would come here again and try other food. But, with the lack of toppings for the price, it would steer me away.

Interesting. The deviled eggs are yummy with the crisp chili. Not sure it's $14 worth though. I could easily get a 6 deviled eggs halves at holiday and throw some chili oil on top for $6. The feta wonton is yummy. The flat wonton is a nice riff on this app. It's a thin mini flatbread. Super crispy. Hot honey is always yummy. The general tso's cauliflower isn't my favorite. The breading is heavy and parts of it is super crunchy and hard, not just crispy. The imposter burger was so-so. Nothing special. The fries are thin and crispy, they are good. The mushroom bulgogi isn't too bad, maybe better if the shiitake wasn't dried. It tasted rubbery, which is usually a trait of the rehydrated dried mushrooms to me. Decent flavor. Love the ginger seasoning. The sushi rice isn't as good as I expected at all. Mushy. The house salad is okay, nothing fancy or unique there. Needs something notable for the dressing, tasted too plain. The banchans are so-so for an Ameican spot. The cucumber and broccoli aren't doing it for me. Kimchi is kimchesque. Service was good. Experience is unique.

I ordered a burrito along with chips and salsa, rice, and beans, and everything was absolutely delicious. The rice and beans were especially good--I ended up eating them with my nacho chips and it was the perfect combo. The burrito was packed with flavor and made just right, which is exactly what you hope for when trying a different location. The only small difference I noticed compared to the West Bloomfield location is that there, they brought out the chicken and salsa right away with the drink cup and even provided a container to dump the chips into. That said, it's a very minor detail and definitely doesn't take away from how great the food was here. Overall, Taco Bros on Woodward delivers the same high‑quality, tasty experience I've come to expect. The people working here were so friendly and personable with literally everyone that walked in the door. The service was top notch. It is also the most adorable place giving vibes of Lamy's food counter at Henry Ford Museum. I loved all of the options on the menu and it was so hard just picking a couple items to try. We had chicken tacos. They were so good and so fresh, I loved the sauce on top. Honestly, I am not sure if it was cheese or a sour cream type mixture, but it was creamy and flavorful. I also had the torta which was absolutely incredible. It had the same chicken as the taco. The chicken was slow cooked or stewed and shredded and was so flavorful, like a homecooked chef's kiss. The bread was fresh. I loved the sauce poured over it, making it a dipped and soaked sandwich. The carrots and cilantro, sliced radishes and sliced fresh jalapenos added a level of crunch, freshness and deeper flavor profile. I would want to get this every time. We also tried their delicious "curly" fries, which were like julienned shoestring fries fired fresh. It seemed like every dish was made fresh and right in front of you. So worth it, plus the prices are great. I would love to try their fried chicken plate, their breakfast sandwiches, and their other desserts. We talked to the man behind the counter who seemed like maybe a manager. He gave us their famous chocolate chip cookie to try. It was fresh baked and delicious. I would love to take home more of those. It looked so simple but was better than many bakeries specializing in cookies alone. He also gave us an second order of fries to take home with my leftovers, just top notch kindness and service. This man told us that OWL owns other restaurants and we would probably like them. I am open to trying more of their group but I do want to return here. This is one of those diners you would find being profiled for best kept secret or gourmet home cooked foods under the guise of fast food.
