Uhm... this store's employees haven't been trained on how to wrap a burrito. It speaks to the level of incompetence of the employees at this Chipotle location. It took two people to wrap a burrito and one of the employees scooped out and trashed half of the contents we paid for because they couldn't wrap it! If a burrito is oversized who stacks 2 tortillas on top of each to make more coverage, everyone knows you stagger them to create more surface area?!?! The person scooping the ingredients was inconsistent with their portion sizes and to top it all off they were low on almost every topping except the proteins!!! Make it make sense, this will be our first and last time visiting the Chipotle located in this mall. Take your money 10 minutes up the road to the stand alone location, please! read more

I was craving a salad and looking forward to having chipotle, but did not have a pleasant experience. Me and 1 other came in to get a salad and the server was nice, however she didn't do a good job. First of all, the salad was old and slimy and I just feel like why would you give me that if you wouldn't eat that? That's disgusting ! I literally had to hand pick pieces out before I added my dressing. There was at least 4 workers there but every table was dirty. I don't understand why none were wiped off, they weren't even busy. Then I lost it when I saw a tiny fly in my food and was just over my whole experience. I would never come back to this location. Had a pretty unpleasant experience yesterday when I stopped in at around 5pm. The person assisting us came off almost passive aggressive. She seemed to possibly be the manager, but I am not sure. Her name is Reyna (host on my receipt). I had a free double protein perk on my app that I wanted to use. When I ordered I asked for the chicken on the side (in a cup, which is the same price as double protein) however when I got to the counter to pay, she tells me my reward doesn't work because the protein had to be in the bowl. I had no idea, so I just told her sorry that I didn't know and if she could put the protein back in the bowl since it was such a huge deal. she then proceeded to ask me what I wanted to do in a condescending manner. As if she couldn't just problem solve and make it right? As if there's such a strict protocol on where exactly that extra chicken was placed. Like did she except me to pay extra because the chicken was placed in a cup rather than in my bowl? her tone made me feel dumb for the way I ordered. I was almost ready to leave because instead of coming up with a solution she tells me what I did wrong. She could've explained it to me in a nicer way, but her tone said everything. I came in with nothing but good energy & she really ruined the whole experience. She finally did a whole bunch of swiping and tapping on her computer screen and redeemed my reward... like was it that complicated? This could've all been avoided. I've worked in a restaurant before and I understand how important customer service skills are, she however does not. I hope she sees this so that she can understand how important your interactions with customers are. I'm giving my business to this establishment, I expect at least decent service. read more

The reviews are all pretty accurate for this location. Stopped by this location and experienced some passive aggressive attitude service despite being polite to the workers. The other reviews are also true that the food is way spicier, I typically have no problem eating at other locations and I have a decent spice tolerance but this location is much higher than others, something to note. This is probably the first time I have ever given a 1 star review, but it's deserving of it. Ordered a burrito through Uber Eats (mistake #1), and ordered a carne asada burrito with guac which amounted to a little over $21 (mistake #2 paying for a $21 burrito). Upon receiving my order not only did it not have the almost $4 guac, but it barely had any of the items requested especially the $4 extra for picking carne asada in itself. I might as well have ordered an all rice burrito because that's what it was, I took 4 bites out of it to find almost all rice. To make things even worse, you can't even call the store directly to potentially get it made again. No matter how hard you try it'll take you to their customer support line, where I was offered only a BOGO deal. Why would I want to pay even more? It's been a while since I've had Chipotle, and after this it's definitely gonna be that way. If paying $21 for a burrito it should be worth it. read more

Originally had a guy in training do my order (which i was perfectly fine with) until another employee showed up and rushed him for no reason (there was no line behind me) + ended up taking over my order half way through. She was completely rude and looked irritated at the fact I had to tell her my order since she pushed the other employee aside. Portions she gave were also small enough to only feed an ant. Asked for one more scoop of salsa and she gave me a look like I was asking for something impossible. This is my first negative review I have ever done. Suzanne or Suzette who is the manager was incredible rude. My cousin and aunt requested half and half sauce. When my cousin attempted to correct the manager that still separated her request, her response was to for my cousin to mix it herself. The employee Louis "register" immediately apologized on her behalf. I then went back and thanked Louis for the recovery this location. Melanie and Carlos all felt terrible for the their leaderships behavior. They all apologized and I know that this is not an embodiment of this Chipotle location. I always place my orders online. Hopefully, they start serving larger portions, as the scoops seem smaller. Be sure to check your pickup bag before leaving they sometimes forget to include utensils, even when requested on the app. Lots of mall parking available. read more

Had to make some returns at the mall and I got so so hungry so I stopped by to grab a bite. It was pretty empty inside and I was in and out within minutes. I'm always weary of ordering chips and leaving with them because sometimes they're not cooked all the way or they're overly salted but these were made well and seasoned perfectly! I got the steak bowl and everything tasted good. I wish their brown rice was a bit more fresh tho (you can tell by the color of the cilantro how fresh the rice is - the more green the fresher and the more brown the longer it's been sitting there). Otherwise, the employees all were pretty friendly, so yay! Don't forget to sign up for an account to get your points! Even if you forget, save your receipt and you can claim your points after! I got to the counter, the two girls at the counter saw me but completely ignored me, there was only one other customer in the store. Eventually some girl came from the back and I told her I was here for a pickup. I saw my bag on the counter behind her, it wasnt even in the pickup area, and she didnt even check to see if it was ready and just snapped "theyre still working on it." And then a couple minutes later she realized the bag on the counter was mine and handed it over. Absolute laziness and she had a horrible attitude as well. The family and I were craving Chipotle for dinner so I drove to the West Covina mall to get us some food. This location is my favorite, it's clean, food is fresh and their service is consistent . When I arrived there was 3 people ahead of me as I waited I paid attention to the employee working behind the counter. He greeted everyone and his service was on point. This is hard to find nowadays. When my turn came he greeted me with a smile and took my order, its was perfect. He smiled the entire time and was super polite. When I was almost done checking out he was asked to go to the back and take care of another task. I failed to ask his name but I asked the cashier. I think it's important to give recognition to great service so a big shout out to Luis for giving me great service with a smile. I had not tried Chipotle for a while and decided to get dinner last night. Ordered online for pick up. As soon as I arrived the cashier greeted me with how can I help you. I said online order. She said stand on the side as I need to charge customers first. Cashier could've been nicer than that. As I waited I noticed their service is horrible and what you get is a joke. I mean the prices have gone up everywhere, but you're getting small servings. I asked for salsa on the side and what you get is a container not even filled up more than 1/4 of the container. I was also missing some of the salsa's that were requested. The bags were sealed. I asked the cashier if all my sides were inside the bag and she said they should be. I took her word. Once I got home I realized the missing items. Aside from missing sides the food was bland. The beans were nasty. They tasted like canned food. The meat was subpar as well. I should've gone to my traditional burrito spot, but didn't feel like waiting in a long line. I now know why it had been I while I had not been eating Chipotle. I have been coming to this chipotle for sometime now but today 7/2/25 @ around 7:30pm I had a very bad experience with one particular associate - the short cashier who does not know how to handle customers. She was very rude. I asked for her name and she would not even give it to me. Why? Simple it's because she is guilty and want to get away with it. I asked for the manager but was told there is no manager right now and told me to just call tomorrow morning. That associate did not know how to be polite and do not know how to deescalate the situation. She was very unpleasant. Because of this experience, I probably would not eat here again. Frontline workers here need to be trained about customer service! I just read on another post from an unhappy customer 8 hours ago complaining about the staff. This store will definitely lose more customers down the road if the front line staff remain unpleasant. Either train staff well or position front liners only if they have a pleasant personality and can handle customer complaints professionally. There are many other restaurants in the area you know ...
