Half the time they're super grimy with the amount of food they serve, and some of the employees attitudes suck. I wouldn't complain normally, but the ridiculous stupidity of their employees this evening has compelled me to vent on Yelp. I ordered a chicken quesadilla. Upon sitting down to eat I noticed that it wasn't cut. My fiancé went up to the counter and politely asked if it could be cut. Of all 4 employees on the line- down to the cashier- everyone was apparently dumbfounded at such a request. We were told that we should go get a plastic knife to use and that's what they use on the line to cut things too. Really? In addition, one employee who was on break decided to smirk about the situation- as if asking for a quesadilla the size of a ruler to be cut was a joke. I'll still return since I live in the area, but now I know that the employees here could care less about anything. At all. Ever. I love the food. But this location needs a new manager! I have called corporate 3 times over the past few months. I keep going back because the food is good, inexpensive and filling. Portion size is inconsistent from visit to visit. The line at lunch or weekends is long. The last time I was there they ran out of ice, forks and napkins. This location has been going down hill for a few weeks now. Food taste bland and lacking salt (steak), salsa was mushy and watery. Store was dirty and warm. I LOVE Chipotle! But thank God this isn't the only location or I would never eat it again. My daughter and I went for an early dinner, about 4. The line was long but moved fast. Ordered 2 drinks to have sweetened ice tea. The sweet tea was empty. Luckily there was almost enough unsweet to fill our cups. We sit down at a table and realize there are a million flys flying around the restaurant and landing on you, the table and our food. I wasn't sure if I was eating steak or dog food I use to come to this chipotle all the time since the one in Pines tasted off but this one just did it to me too. The food use to be always fresh in this location or maybe they changed there product shipment on the protein not sure. I love it when there is only one single option for something which I decide to order such as the cheese quesadilla on the kids menu that I ordered for my son. Apparently however, according to the nosy line server who butted into my convo with the cashier I ordered the large (not on menu) quesadilla because I didn't say "kids" quesadilla. She repeatedly stated this as if I was too dumb to comprehend that I ordered the "large quesadilla because I didn't say "kids." I simply asked for a cheese quesadilla, seeing as it's the only quesadilla on the menu. Unfortunately what I received was not the kids cheese quesadilla, but a mythical and nonexistent on the menu "large quesadilla" (which I must add again is not on their damn Fing menu) and the large doesn't come with the sides and drink included with the kid's quesadilla. To my disappointment, neither the cashier or big mouthed rude other employee could comprehend the obvious fact that by default the only quesadilla on the menu being in the kids section is the only one to possibly order. Fortunately a competent not entirely brain dead employee was able to give me the complete order I initially requested for my kid who by the way was right there with me in the line when I ordered the quesadilla clearly for him. Aside from this absurd order screw up the food was ok, but your forced to either eat on a dirty table or clean one yourself as of the 6 or 7 empty tables, not one was clean. As long as chipolte staff is correctly trained on how much chicken/meat to add then its a good experience here. It's always one scoop full weather a bowl or tacos, always speak up nicely, " hey, that's not a scoop full." They have been one point lately. I always speak up and good managers/people like that. Crappy people don't ever like to be corrected. My problem lately is soap in the Mens bathroom. I don't eat so much inside, but when I do it's likely there will be no soap. I told the male cashier yesterday and now today still no soap. I was telling the female cashier today and she looked at me with a blank stare, lol. The gentleman behind her took initiative and said I'll add some right away and went on his way to do so. I hope he keeps up his positive attitude and gets noticed that he goes above what his other coworkers will do and maybe gets a manager position opportunity one day. I used to love this place. The staff here used to be great. We ate there so much, they would say "see you tomorrow". I used to love Chipotle as a whole. Now the food is sub par. I will start by saying that this location was good when it first open. I had the worst experience ever last night, it all started with the longest line I've ever seen in this location and it was all thanks to the slowest service I've see. They had 6 people making the burritos, tacos, bowls etc and the line took a good 15 minutes for our turn! The other part that was disappointing was that I asked for the kid tacos for the little one with white rice, carnitas, cheese and sour cream then the servers were arguing why I didn't get the order of the 3 tacos. When i get to the register they ask if I would like to get a side of rice and beans that the tacos bring, I'm thinking to myself why would I get more if I already have it in the tacos so I say no and then the girl in the register named krizia insisted that It comes with that so I said fine. The boy that was putting the toppings tell hers that it's already inside the tacos so she was an attitude told him what ever! I asked her that I would like to get guacamole to take home which I always have bought in the past and krizia with a really bad attitude responds sorry we don't do that and proceed to tell me that I would have to pay more than $40 dollars and it would be considered a catering service because they only make so much guacamole for the day and all the food they make its a certain amount for the day , after all this I just tell her let me get 3 sides of guacamole and to top it off the boy in the sides put it in a bowl where they serve the burrito bowls and the girls starts to complain to the guy that they can't do it like that! I have been going here for years, BUT now I have been seeing this place seriously decline and I can't take it anymore! This place needs a better manager and a better staff. Maybe one of the worst staffs I have encountered. I'm tired of the staff trying to wrap my burrito and it falling apart in my face and they don't even offer to double wrap it! Not to mention they have been putting less and less meat in the products and filling the food with cheap stuff like rice, ESPECIALLY once they raised the prices recently! The tables always seem to be dirty, covered in food, overall disgusting and no one is cleaning them! It seems all the staff is busy trying to take care of the GIGANTIC line that goes out the door which never seems to move. A couple months ago they didn't have the steak they normally have for weeks and as soon as it came back they ran out of the chicken for weeks! What pushed me over the edge was coming in the other day, I barely had any time to get my lunch from my break of work. I drove all the way here, see a long line (like always), I waited through the entire line, the server started prepping my burrito and at the end when I get to the cheese I'm told they RAN OUT OF CHEESE!!!! They might as well have run of tortillas, how could you eat a burrito with no cheese? I asked how they ran out of cheese and the staff rudely responded to me. I didn't get the burrito, told them to throw it away and I am never coming back. Honestly they should be grateful I kept going as long as I did, the food is good if you can get past the AWFUL service, HORRENDOUS wait times and if by THE GRACE OF GOD they have all the ingredients you want. Horrible experience! Super busy and slow. Also ordered a kids meal (4.75) which is now build your own . Not a very smart idea to let kids build there own taco when the will definitely make a huge mess. I asked the girl to put it together for me and she looked at me like I have 3 heads and just said " no we don't do that" . Someone asked my sides, I said guacamole, rice . They gave me all the extras. Asked if I wanted Apple juice or milk , I said " a bottle of water." Again I got the look like I had 3 heads . Got my water and was charged $9.36. When I asked why a guy said cause the guacamole is 2$ extra. 2$ is not a huge deal but no one said that when they asked what sides I wanted. And the amount of guac wasnt near 2$ worth.
