Feb. 16, 2026 at 2pm. We rolled in with 35ish people at one time and they were HUSTLING to get through our orders. Everyone must've gone through with their food in 15-20 minutes max. Kudos to the staff! The food quality didn't taste any different from any Chipotle I've had around the country, big city or small. The best part was that they never ran out of ingredients and were so nice the whole timing going from 3 people in the store to our large group! I will say they definitely need to check the water lines or something in their men's restroom because that was rough. read more

I'm not sure why this location of Chipotle has such a critical rating. After taking a closer look, it appears as though most of these negative comments were from years ago, which makes me happy to report that things have changed. This Chipotle is right off Maple Ave. and directly in front of the Colony Square Mall. There is plenty of parking, but this spot is extra popular, so you may need to park at the mall and walk over. No worries though, those additional parking spots are only about 100 feet away. The staff is generally quick and friendly and I've never had to worry about them not having something I want. I always get a bowl to-go and I tend to go full on veggie with it. White rice, black beans, all the salsas, their guac is always great, lettuce, and chips. Now that right there is a winner! Most recently I was in town for Mother's Day and what mama wants, mama gets. Chipotle was on her mind so we ran in, grabbed some up, and enjoyed at home. It was great and I definitely continue to stop in when I'm hungry and in Zanesville. read more

I was surprised to see the poor rating for this establishment. I go here often and have never been disappointed. I usually order multiple orders in one - the staff behind the counter listens attentively and I've never had any orders messed up. Food: doesn't really change location to location - if you like Chipotle, you'll like it :) BIG PERK: when most food places in Zanesville close at 9, this spot is open until 10p !! The steak was cold, chewy, and dry. I had a head hair buried in my bowl. I was shocked that it cost $30 for 2 small, young women to eat. The overhead music was too loud and it was difficult to hear the 1st lady ​preparing our order, whose voice didn't project well over the glass. I have never seen a Chipotle so busy at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon! The service was slow and they were out of both pork and regular Coke (which I didn't want either of those, but still an inconvenience). Has to be the slowest Chipotle chain. They do not have the key people in the key places. Each time I've been in here, I've seen customers that are in line leave. I'm not a huge Chipotle fan, but it is Ok. Though this place is OUT IF CONTROL. The "kids" working there are bottom of the barrel; not a bit of concern or sense about how to conduct themselves at work. I chose to eat my burrito in the store, and the sound/noise was unbearable; dropping big metal containers, yelling, screaming, laughing in the back, throwing containers into wash bins, etc., etc. I have never been in such a loud noisy restaurant. Okay, the store is small and always crowded. They should look into adding on, somehow. The wait is the longest of any Chipotle that I have been to. I even use the app from time to time, and I still had to wait too long considering your supposed to go to the front of the line. Food is delicious and fresh though which is always good. read more

Okay so we all really want this store to get better. The food is good and I did notice some new employees who were working pretty hard but the overall sanitation is still a problem. Someone really needs to take a leadership roll here. The dining room was never cleaned or swept the whole time we were there as per usual. It just seems so simple to assign someone to that duty especially during peak times. The line speed was pretty slow this time as well. We were about 10 people deep and it was close to 15 minutes. Terrible. Absolutely terrible. From the dirty tables to the handful of scatter brained and careless crew, this is the worst Chipotle I've been to. And I love Chipotle! Not only did they make my order incorrectly, but the girl who made my burrito, would not pay attention to what I was saying and threw whatever she wanted on it causing me to have to have her remake it. She pouted and literally huffed at me then stared for a good 10 seconds expecting me to just take it. No way. After it was remade, I get home to the worst burrito I've had. It should be simple great tasting ingredients right? I mean, it's essentially Mexican subway! But the rice was crunchy and my steak was so over done, my shoe would've been more tender. This is the second and last try for me. Get it together and hire competent crew members who know what they're doing. Waiting 45 minutes in line is ridiculous for this type of establishment. Frustrating! Line is always out the door and they're slower than turtles. The line just doesn't move and they never listen or pay attention to what your saying you want. One time there was no line and we stood there longer than 5 minutes before anyone would even acknowledge us. I wouldn't mind waiting in line I've done it numerous times there but anymore the line just doesn't move at all and it's ridiculous. The past year or two it's really gone down hill and we barely go anymore because it's became so inconvenient and takes way too long then there's never anywhere to sit. They used to have such a great crew working there that busted their chops to get that line moving and made it a good experience I guess this is just what we're in for with this new generation sadly I'm a big lover of their food but it's just too much hassle even with using the ap. they need to open one in south Zanesville or get more employees and add on or something. read more
