So we checked out out got quotes, and what they gave was pretty decently cheap. They provided great customer service and very good rates of course. Simple Move arrived at my friends place and I could tell these people have really good customer service! They were smiling, carrying our things because I gave my friends my belongings to take up. Some of the stuff included a vase, many video games and clothes. He took it up and made sure it is placed in the truck well. This took only a couple of hours which was very efficient! After arriving to Washington with my friends, Simple Move got there on time. I was very happy! I just wanted to get everything done and help my friend settle in! I'm honestly one of those people that is over critical with my belongings and they cannot be bad or I will freak out! Luckily they took care of everything for us and that my belongings came in one piece and not pieces. I was glad that they finished everything in a couple of ours and talked to us while we were busy trying to put everything in. It made me relieved to think that everything will be alright!

I hired On the Go to load a trailer in preparation for an out-of-state move. The moving team…read moreovercharged me (I had to get home office to do a correction), but that was only the surface. When I arrived in my new location, I had a different mover ready to unload the truck. What they found was astounding: The movers had paid no mind to how they stacked our boxes, crushing multiple bins and seeing boxes cave-in on themselves. These photos came from the other movers as they thought their counterparts did it, and were (in their words) "embarrassed." On top of this absolute disregard for boxes, 11 pieces of furniture suffered damage. Their label was "cosmetic damage," because nothing broke ... it's just visually damaged (deep gashes in wood, leather scraped off real-leather chairs). The care extended to a couch where they removed the peg legs and through them loose into the trailer (we had to find them over the course of the move). I documented everything, shared photos, etc. Their offer: $100 check due to cosmetic damage. And after a fairly pointed email about the negligence of how they packed the trailer, they just stopped responding. Now, here's the onus on me: I only did base protection. I trusted their reputation and after seven cross-country moves, felt confident we'd be okay. Shame on me, and that'll never be a mistake I make again. I don't expect anything to come of this for me. And that's fine. But hopefully at least one other person will be saved the frustration and expense.

Uncertain of what to do, I used Thumbtack to identify reasonable businesses in the area (also, my first time using Thumbtack, which was extremely easy and helpful!). We Move was one of the first to reach out to me with estimates and with the most reasonable rates for my local move. (Details: 450 sq. ft. one-bedroom condo; couch; three bookshelves; and other miscellany items: 2 movers; 1 truck; 3-hr min. $100/hr if in cash; $115/hr if by card). Throughout the process, their customer service was professional and impeccable. Roman contacted me regularly to confirm my location and move date. Another representative (unfortunately, I did not catch her name), contacted me by telephone to schedule the move. On the day of my move, We Move contacted me early in the day through one of the movers, Aivar, who informed me that they would be able to arrive early if I was available. I was, and they arrived within 20 minutes. Aivar and Victor, two movers with We Move, arrived with the truck. They were extremely courteous and professional. Moreover, they were unbelievably efficient! I even asked if they would be willing to make a stop at the Goodwill to make a donation, and they agreed without hesitation. In summary: We Move provides excellent customer service and performs excellent work. Two hours from start to finish. They (two men) moved all my stuff from a bedroom to my new studio apartment in under the three hour minimum--but that's okay. With the truck rental it was $437 total. These guys--the do not milk the clock. They move with speed, putting everything in these huge 60" x 24" boxes, except for the furniture. EVERYTHING gets wrapped like a palette 360 degrees around. I just stayed out of their way, and within one hour they had everything loaded up. They brought a 24' truck, which was bigger than I expected. The drive was 30 minutes to my new place and unloading took about 45 minutes. They had me sign a standard moving contract, and I absolutely appreciate the 10% military discount, and another 3% for paying cash. FANTASTIC, could not say one thing bad. They are very careful with my stuff. Absolutely recommended.

They scheduled me for 1 truck, 3 guys, for moving Saturday, but they ordered a second truck and 3 more guys in a surprise turn of events and so i got charged out the ass, and after the truck was unpacked, they kept BOTH trucks and all 3 extra guys there while only 2 of the first guys from the first truck worked, i paid for a whole extra crew to basically stand outside doing nothing, ABSOLUTELY CHEAT OF MONEY 2. They brought my desk in and didnt put it together until i reminded them, and THEY LOST THE SCREWS to it, so they used small screws to make it look together but the moment i went to move it, it fell apart because they used the wrong ones, wow really guys? So we spent the next entire day going back and forth from Lowes, getting different screws to fix my desk since they lost the original ones 3. THEY USE HORRIBLE TAPE!!!! They taped the keyboard slider on my desk with clear packing tape or something stronger, because when i took it off, it peeled entire chunks of my desk's flush off. As well as our TV stand, good bye nice looking furniture, its not got tape flesh peeled parts all over it. 4. This one is probably my fault for TRUSTING THEM - they packed up my computer and my monitors, and they just CARELESSLY put my monitors in a box, with not NEARLY enough bubble wrap, and when i opened th ebox, i found they even positioned the screens so one corner was PRESSED AGAINST the other monitor!? At this point i HAD to take a picture of this, i was disgusted with their lack of care for other peoples things. - Adding on this, THEY USED FREAKING DUCT TAPE to hold the very minimum bubble wrap on them, and there was duct tape DIRECTLY on my screens?! It is lucky my monitors still worked, or this would be worst than just a google review. Un-freaking-believeable the entire headaches i'm now going through after this move. I'm finding living room stuff down in the garage boxes, and my kids toys mixed in with her grandma's garage tools, getting ruined, this is disgusting. My new neighbors used this moving company. The movers apparently took the time to climb onto my…read moreretaining wall and take a huge boulder off my property without asking, to prop up their tires. When they were done, they didn't put it back, they just left it on the ground across the alley from my house and a huge gaping hole in my retaining wall. Several neighbors saw them do this. 1. They could have asked me first and I would have said yes if they would put it back 2. They clearly don't respect other people's property. I mean, they had to go up my stairs and pry the Boulder out of my retaining wall. You really want to use a moving company like that that doesn't respect other people's property? If so, good luck! Maybe they can go into a side landscaping business. I need some bamboo removed out of my yard too.
