Chiquis has the best tacos in Houston that remind me of my mothers taco shop. They are always so sweet when I call in for my order. Go give them business !

Yummo!!! Ordered the Uber eats. We had the menudo and it was one of the best I've had. It was rich and flavorful. I ordered breakfast tacos and they were fluffy and they did not skimp on ingredients. We added cheese and it was perfectly melty. Lastly we ordered the barbacoa Gordita. I've never had a barbocoa Gordita before. It was delicious. The only thing that was not my favorite was the horchata. Can't wait to order from them again!!

    a plate of mexican food

This is the best Mexican tacos and tortas food in all Houston Katy Area! The best Barbacoa tacos ever and their green sauce is the best. Honestly there is no better food in the area. Very authentic Mexican food they have the best HAND MADE TORTILLAS.. tbh no one makes better food then this place. Service is amazing you need to give it a try!

Best authentic Mexican food you can find! So delicious and the tortillas are homemade. The entire office frequently orders from here during lunch. We're lucky to have found this place!

That's how full they gave it to me

Stay away !!!!!!! They pretend to be kind and courteous I always called ahead to place my order as soon as I found out it was possible and it was the worst decision ever. I always order the same order and multiple times they forget to add beans. When I called they instantly started making up excuses saying she must have not herd me as she didn't write it down. It's extremely unprofessional when you can't even own up to a simple mistake. I had to stop using their red sauce as well when sauce is past its day I get extreme hart burn. I fell they don't make it fresh and it's left to sit until it's sold. Also they were not busy at all and to top it off I got my drink and she even noticed it was to little but decided to put a top on and sell it to me anyway. When I called she hit me with the victim voice without even an apology straight tried to blame the phone connection when I always order my tacos with beans. Lost trust now I don't think I can trust them with my food as they obviously don't care about their customer just as long as they get paid. Really upset as I fell the only reason they keep the 5 stars is when they make a mistake they pretend to be the victim instead of owning up to their mistake and fixing it. Ps it wasn't the first time this happened to me at this point that's why I fell they just don't care. Plus their food is ok it's mostly because their the only ones open that early in the area they have business.

Took my dad here for his birthday on the hunt for some authentic tacos. We were surprised to find this gem. Excellent spicy well seasoned, served quick and fresh.

Finding authentic TJ flavor in Texas (not Tex-Mex) was a welcome surprise! Our carne asada was grilled al carbón and you could taste the char! Juicy carne full of flavor, thin but strong and tasty tortillas (they really held everything together well), perfect chunky guac (not too fancy or full of fillers--IYKYK), and a variety of delicious salsas and hot sauces! An added bonus was the complimentary chicharrones! I'll take those over tortilla chips any day! The dining room isn't very big, but it's clean and has good a/c....there's an outdoor patio as well. Service was fast and friendly. Tacos and burritos were hefty and full of flavor. Ample parking. So glad that my family from San Diego (who I know get real Mexican taco shop cravings) can get a taste of home right in their Houston backyard!

Limited indoor seating, and since it gets busy we usually order to go. When I did dine in it was nice experience, feels authentic like eating a local spot in Mexico. You have the Mexican cokes available, the style of tacos has a big scoop of guac which makes them a bit unique compared to other spots that charge extra for guac. Their tacos are big too! Not the mini small taco tortillas you get in a food truck. These are big tacos so getting 2 is enough for me. I've tried their Asado tacos and their quesadillas and their quesabirrias all 10/10.

There's even a security guard on site, which only adds to the impression that this place is fire. So when I happened to drive by on a 100-degree afternoon and found no line, I took it as a sign to finally give it a try. The small parking lot adjacent to the truck was nearly empty, except for a few other patrons who probably had the same idea. Ordering was simple and to the point. The menu keeps things straightforward: a selection of meats served as tacos or plates with a handful of sides. I ordered two barbacoa tacos with salsa verde. Less than two minutes after placing my order, they were in my hands. Fast service on a scorching day is always appreciated. With no seating available, I retreated to the comfort of my car to eat. Based on the amount of grease packed into these tacos, I would recommend doing the same. Eating them while standing could end with your shirt becoming an unintended side dish. One thing to note: don't count on a generous napkin supply. I realized after returning to my car that none were included. Consider keeping a few emergency fast-food napkins in your glove compartment. Those leftover Taco Bell napkins may finally fulfill their destiny. The barbacoa was flavorful, the salsa verde complemented it well, and overall, the tacos were overall tasty. That said, I left somewhat underwhelmed considering the crowds I routinely see gathered here during lunch and dinner hours. Perhaps I'm missing the standout item that keeps customers lining up daily. Even so, if you happen to have cash in your pocket and find yourself craving authentic tacos, this truck is certainly worth a stop.

Husband ordered 2 chicken quesadillas and they were open faced regular sized corn tacos with melted cheese and the meat on top. Also ordered a small liquado of papaya, but it was warmish and I like my liquados cold. Waitress comes up and takes your order and gives you a number. There's a parking lot, but we went on the weekend, and while the interior didn't look overly full, it was somewhat difficult to find a parking spot. The restaurant itself is clean. Everything is pretty much green and white. There's covered patio seating. You order from a window and there's a large menu printed nearby The menu offers all sorts of tacos, meats, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, quesabirras, sides, and even kids meals. You can get beer, margaritas, and non-alcoholic drinks. There's also a breakfast menu The food was good, and it didn't take too long to come out. My main issue was the service. The individual taking orders seemed to have a bit of an attitude and just seemed "over it." Furthermore, we mentioned having a queso coupon and when we were given the total I placed my card on the reader and I was told that I did it too fast and the queso wasn't taken off. The odd thing was, we walked away and realized that they didn't add the queso and the coupon was for free queso so they could have just rung up an additional queso. This individual had the vibe of eye rolling everything, and it honestly left a bad taste in my mouth Some tips: You can order online to avoid any wait. Just go up to the pick-up window when it's supposed to be ready for a painless interaction There's a little bar area where you can get pre-packaged (to-go) salsas, pickled onions, limes, etc etc etc. the salsas are tomatillo, habanero, and jalapeño (I believe) You can order margaritas to go, which we did! Cheers!!
