The fried chicken wings were so crunchy, juicy, and saucy. They are very comparable to Bonchon or BBQ chicken. We also tried the soondubu which tasted very fresh, not so heavy on the gochujang, and relatively homemade! The seafood patron was perfectly crispy, a little thick, and very heavy on the quantity of seafood. The biggest surprise for me was actually the purple rice haha. It was very moist and soft but complemented the soondubu and LA galbi very well! This is a spot I will for sure keep going back to.

I ordered the Claude the Claw ($18.99) with medium spicy sauce on the side. The sandwich is pretty huge. I like how they wrapped the sandwich around the claw sticking out from the bottom. I did take it out of the wrapper for the picture, but suggest you keep the wrapper on as it gets messy to eat. The spices and flavor is delicious and the chicken is crispy and tender. It's a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich overall. While the claw is insta-worthy, it's not quite worth the extra $4 (plus you can't really even eat it, so it's all for show). I'd suggest getting the claw for your first time, but I'd get the regular sandwich in the future for the lower price.

All the flavor was on the batter and seems like the chicken wasn't marinated at all. As for the sides, I was not a fan of the street corn since it just tasted like plain corn with cheese in it and the fries were ok. Usually korean fried chicken is good no matter where you get it from but I don't know about this francaise. I might try it again to see if it's the same but that's probably going to be a while. After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.

It wasn't as juicy as I would have liked. The flavor wasn't as complex as I would have liked. I was mostly just getting heat. I feel like I could easily get a much better chicken sandwich in the city. The service was fast, and I liked the casual comfort of the restaurant. However, due to the food lacking complex flavors, I will not be returning.
