Well... several people came in and had an appointment which I understand but communicate if the wait will be an extended period. They put my feet in the water and I waited for 1 hour with my feet soaking. This was ridiculous and the failure to communicate is not acceptable. They know how long or should know how long the wait will be, then say something. The only reason I stayed is I was traveling the next day but if they would have communicated to come back in 1 hour instead of not saying anything left a very poor customer service experience. I could have easily came back 1 hour later. Since my feet were soaking I felt trapped and should have left after 30 minutes. I spoke to the manager and she apologized but I felt nothing would have changed. I will not go back. Advice is to communicate if wait will be an extended period, most people expect communication and will be patient if you are setting proper expectation. I cannot recommend this establishment.

If I can get in with specific people, I have a great experience, but when I have to walk in, I usually have a bad experience. I either get injured or irritated or both because the tech is too rough. They don't pay attention and end up causing scrapes and even bleeding on a couple of occasions. What really irritates me, though, is a couple of them have this thing where they will literally slap my hand if I'm not relaxing it enough to their liking. It doesn't feel to me like I'm NOT relaxing, so I assume they just like to be bossy and enjoy doing the slapping thing. I'm not sure that even telling them directly would do any good, because when I've tried, they just say "sorry" but then do it again.

It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?

I asked her for pink to white ombre nails. She was very confused. Told me the pink i chose was wrong for french tips which wasnt the design i asked for. She started my dip and start to put the pink where the white was supposed to go so i corrected her. She fixed it and my manicure came out looking great which i appreciated. Until 5 days later when the top coat started peeling off my dip nails already. They looked super scuffed and milky so i called and the manager told me to come in anytime for them to fix them. Well i did and things got more weird. The lady who did my nails originially looked at them, buffed one nail, and then told me i needed to wait 20 minutes while she finished her client. I didnt have 20 minutes to wait to start so i asked the front desk if someone else could help. They said this lady would lose money and shed have to call her boss which she did. Then i felt horrible - the shop should help with that loss and not mention it to me. Finally someone else came and got me, fixed my nails. They look great and am hoping they hold up this time. She was super friendly and did an excellent job. Apparently she was planning to just file my nails down so they were started faster and the original lady would finish them she she'd be done soon.
