I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. The company was really great, they sent me a bio and photo of the person who would be coming (which I appreciated for safety and professionalism), and the man who came was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He also had some great suggestions and input on the project and location in the house, in terms of what's best to save money and simplify all the moving parts--which I really appreciated. They arrived this morning with 4 men and all sort of heavy equipment. Oh so grateful for their drilling equipment so they didn't have to tear up my new driveway and walk installed last year. They ran the new main, ,and replumbed everything in my basement. While the original quote shocked me, you certainly get what you pay for. It turned out to be a bargin. Any other contractor - I'd be having my sidewalk, walkway and front porch redone. I highly recommend this company.

There was a description of the issue at hand which was frozen pipes and explained on the service call in making the appointment. Once the technician arrived, the technician looked at the pipes for 30 seconds and said there is nothing they can do till the pipes thaw out due to being frozen. This is something that could have been mentioned through the phone call during making the appointment. However it seemed like a ploy to just get money out of a consumer because not only was I charged $95 just for someone to tell me what i told the company, the technician then offered a space heater at a rate for $550 an hour. I decline the heater, placed my own space heaters inside the boiler room, within the hour my boiler was thawed out. I found the issue on my own and fixed my boiler. Bob from Plumbwell was wonderful! I woke up at 4am to a leaking water heater- a geyser it seemed. I…read moredidn't even know how to turn off my water main. I tried duck taping up the pipe where the water was leaking from. I surrounded it with towels, but nothing could be done till Bob came to the rescue. I called 10 plumbing companies. I left messages at all of them (24 hours they claimed... nope!) I was on the phone with the 11th when Bob called me back and said he could arrive within the hour! He did an amazing job and replaced these leaky bendable type pipes that have been there since I bought my condo with copper ones. He soldered like a champ. He didn't just replace the one that was leaking, he did the other one too. Also- he was very circumspect. Wore a mask (we are living during the Covid 19 era) and I felt safe at the distance and precautions he took. A+ work My home is saved! Bob even recommended I use a fan to help dry up the floor, which I probably wouldn't have thought of. I was able to pay by credit card YAY, (or check if I wanted) because who has cash in an emergency lol.
