I had some Hủ tiếu mì cá (apparently, they've ever seen this combo before, yet, still made it for me) here and it was probably the best I've ever had. The broth was clear and flavorful. Every sip was perfect, every bite of the fish was perfect, noodles were perfect, nothing to complain. My friends had hủ tiếu vịt and bò lúc lắc and both of those portions were decently sized. The workers were your viet grandmas but they do speak some English so they will understand you, extremely friendly and accommodating. This place seems to be doing some remodeling or some kind of upgrades inside so they seem to also be selling cuts of meats as well, whole ducks and whatnot. The seating is basically a counter with about 5 high style chairs inside. There are also a couple old tables and chairs outside. The vibe is meant to be a to-go spot but you can probably get a seat. The best congee I've had in awhile. I tried to order pick up via phone, but the workers didn't speak English very well, so it was a bit difficult to communicate. We were able to order the ground pork congee through the phone since I had the item number from the menu but had to order the Chinese fried donut in person, because they didn't recognize the English word for the item. The workers here are all very friendly and happy to help. Very happy with the food selection. There's not many vietnamese food by the Orange Outlet unless you go in deeper into Garden Grove. Accidentally found this place and I was so happy to find this gem , I was actually just looking for the nearest restroom and I decided to stop by and see what I can buy before I ask to use the restroom and I was surprised how much Vietnamese food they have on the menu and food to go so I picked the egg and mushrooms frittata to go first then ask to use the restroom, they are all super nice and politely showed me where it is and I was so surprised how clean it was! And after I used it I decided to sit down and try their Bun Bo Hue and I was like "WOW!!!" Update my review after the owner responded: The seller selected the food from the refrigerator for me; it was not displayed and I did not choose it myself. When I opened it, the food was old and inedible, which made me question whether the seller chose an old one to intentionally sold first. If not, just pick randomly why have to look one by one to choose. I have purchased Mam here before and it was fresh color, fermented smell, juicy, and spicy. The food this time was an old egg, not spicy at all, just was dry, dark, tasted nearly spoiled, I have attached some photos you can see how black, dry, and bad it is to sell. My mom bought "bánh tiêu" here for $4 each. I came by a different day and the told me $5 each. Bánh tiêu was good but so not worth the price, especially when the price is inconsistent. I come here for chao long, and usually buy them by the weight. Service was always nice, not rude ever, hopefully it's the same for others. What's more surprising is.... my child needed to use the restroom and it's not openly available for guests but they were also so pleasant about it AND the bathroom is so clean. Back to food. Bank bot loc is also good. Bought bo la lot once but it tasted like it was kept in freezer for a while, so can't really rave about that. Ordered 50 pork egg rolls for a party. Called the restaurant and it was a very quick & easy process. Once I arrived, they packed my order and the eggrolls were fresh and crispy! The pork egg rolls included carrots, black fungus, and glass noodles. I always love when restaurants add glass noodles to their eggrolls. It adds a better texture, imo. There's 3 types of eggrolls available: pork, pork & shrimp, pork & shrimp & crab. I definitely want to try the other ones too! Will definitely come back to try the other foods they offer. We are familiar with the other Tam Bien locations however this is the first time we came here at this location. Love they have their own parking spaces. Our favorite food from here is the cha la lot in the freezer. We like to buy them frozen to bring to out of area family and friends. This location is relatively new so it's clean and the staffs are very nice and helpful. The foods are great but I do have some concerns, some of the containers used for mam and cha has been warned that they contained micro plastic that can lead to women reproductive harm, Alzheimer's disease. They used to use the aluminum containers. I loved their mắm chưng but stopped eating them once they switched the containers. Best bánh tiêu! read more

Was looking for something quick to eat for lunch and found out this place just opened pretty close to me. They have a lot of options on top of all the typical options that they usually have at Vietnamese to-go places. Everything was clean and very tidy. Workers were very friendly and service was great! Food was reasonably priced and everything was extra 20% because of a soft opening promotion. Excited to have some convenient Vietnamese food nearby to grab when I'm in a rush or just want something quick, filling, and delicious. Will be back to try their other entrees :) read more

The customer service is really nice. This is located on the busy street of fairview. They have their own parking which is a plus. It's a meat market and to go shop. The viet ice coffee is stronger and less sweet than lees sandwich which I like. The egg rolls are fried upon order. The sesame bread is good. I look forward to ordering more from here. Was craving chao long and found this place on yelp. We got chao long, chao ga, bun vit, and some other things. Everything was really good! But the best part for me was that you can buy all the stuff that goes in chao long by the pounds. And that meant I could buy the blood sausages (my fav is the one with the lemongrass). Favorite Togo food spot hit the spot. My favorite items are: Gio Heo Song Be Thui Long Heo Cafe Su Da The workers here are so sweet and very humble. Unlike others TOGO food places, they don't rushes you or ask you what do you want with that look on their face. This new place has well spoken workers who makes you feel welcome... even on days where you're rushing them. Definitely coming back! The menu is pretty decent and has tons to offer. It's a food court style type of deli and they also have frozen items as well. Been getting food here about 4-5 times and each time they manage to overcharged me. Today I finally questioned it, how my chicken salad ($15 for a large) didn't matched what the menu price ($12 for a L). The response I got after a side conversation with the manager was "it's a special type" which I didn't ask for and it wasn't even special from the other times I got the same item. Even the cashier asked the other person why the price wasn't matching the menu price and then there's no initiative to correct it. Last time I got charged $10 for a cha that wasn't price labeled and it's $7.50 because I noticed it's labeled this time around. Im not supporting this business anymore. read more
