Asada quesadilla, asada tacos, and a combo of different proteins

This is by far my favorite taco truck! I'm slowly making my way through the menu. My absolute favorite are the asada waffle fries. You are actually able to grab a good mouthful of fries plus your meat, you don't have to constantly pick at your food to get a good grab because they use waffle fries instead of regular fries. That means every bite is flavorful! I also enjoy the asada taco! I always love to add the purple onions that they offer with the habanero and hint of lime, SO GOOD!!! On top of flavorful food, their customer service is amazing! The owner Armando is very friendly and attentive to all his customers, I've noticed he greets his regulars by first name! He is that passionate that he makes sure he remembers a face. The other gentleman by the name of Jose is very knowledgeable as well and friendly. Anytime I have a question about an item on the menu he makes sure to explain to me what the actual item has. I highly recommend this place to everyone! You won't be disappointed.

easily one of my favorite taco spots in oc, and i'm picky! i ended up coming back two days in a row after the first time i tried this place, it's that good. their carne asada fries are unlike any other that i've tried. they're super generous with the meat, and every bite is amazing. this is a must-have! i've tried their tacos with a few meats: asada, pastor, pork belly. all of them were delicious, but i didn't expect the pork belly to be so good. their sauce and condiment station is stacked--the red sauce is actually pretty spicy, which was a pleasant surprise. lots of options and you get to take as much sauce as you want (sauce containers are provided.) service is always on point, never had any issues. they always answer my questions and my food always comes out quickly! they often run $1 taco promotions, go check out their insta to see which meats are on sale that day. i've tried a lot of taco places around socal, and this is definitely a unique and worthwhile place to try. i can't stop coming back!

Asada Cabeza and Lengua tacos AMAZING!!

Birria fries

Amazing service 10/10 so friendly and helpful with the menu and ordering. Flavor is INCREDIBLE we all got birra (tacos, quesadilla, and fries) and everything we had was AMAZING. Consumé was delicious and had just the right amount of heat. We can't wait to come back

Birria tacos with consome

Im picky af when it comes to tacos especially birria tacos, theyre hard af to find and also finding a good consome is hard but these guys wont disappoint you, the tacos were really good the meat is not all dry like at other spots and the consome is not watered down either its perfect, i also recommended the waffle asada fries, best asada fries ive ever had!

It's not always easy finding good plant-based options at traditional spots, but they actually have a nice variety to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant is downtown so the parking isn't great but it's worth it. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're craving Mexican food and still want satisfying plant-based options. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

There's plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. Food came relatively quickly as well for all of us, and drinks came out right away. Wait was maybe 5-10 minutes but all the food was freshly made! FOOD: They don't have too big of a menu, but that's not bad. I tried the carne asada, el pastor, and the mushroom tacos + queso tacos. The tacos were a lot bigger than larger tacos, coming at roughly $4 per taco. I would recommend the queso tacos because i LOVE cheese but the regular tacos are good. The quesadillas were very filling and there was a lot to them as well if you want something that'll fill you up more than a taco. SERVICE: Service was good. Everyone who helped us was very nice. PARKING: There is street parking and parking lots around the area for you to walk in--all of which are paid parking. You can use an app for the lots or use coins for the street parking. I've gone here during the day and night and I haven't had any issues with parking at all. INTERIOR: The interior is very simple: warm tones with benches. If you have a big party, you most likely will have to split up between multiple tables. For us, a party of 10, we divided it between 4 and 6, though the 6 was a tight fit. BATHROOM: Clean. Nothing crazy when I went there. I'm pretty sure you can use the bathroom too even if you don't buy anything. LOCATION: This place is in downtown Santa Ana, so there are a lot of shops for you to look around, eat at, or shop at if you go during the day. Very fun to eat tacos here and then go on a walk afterwards :)) TLDR: A very good taco spot to go eat if you want good tacos. They're open till 10pm weekdays and midnight on weekends as well. Decent variety that's fresh and very flavorful

I've been coming here consistently since September of 2025. The birria tacos have the perfect amount of meat and they are SO JUICY and the meat is clean (I don't like my meat to be too fatty) I also like to get their watermelon water and their churros because they don't over fry them to where they are hard to bite. The location itself could be better because it's literally on the side of a gas station and sometimes I have to go around the occasional sketchy person BUT if you're willing to overlook that (and not go alone) it's really a hidden gem. The service is always fast and the inside of the establishment is always clean and well kept and they even decorate for the holidays! We were able to find a small table, not too far from the front counter. Ordering at the front was easy. The staff was friendly and quick. We could see the cook grilling up the meats as we placed our order. There were at least five different salsas to choose from as well as cucumbers and a chili oil at the self-serve salsa bar. I noticed a customer in front of us ordered a kids plate which included two street tacos and rice and beans. That's what I ended up ordering with Carne Asada and chorizo. There were four or five proteins to choose from for the kids plate. I loved the grilled meats with the char flavor. It was delicious! Everything was well seasoned. The burrito was solid sized, I was definitely full after eating it. Great seasoned potato wedges inside, tasty egg, and plenty of bacon and sausage. Only thing with the bacon and sausage was that the bacon was actually bacon bits. I'm pretty sure they are pre bagged bacon bits, judging by the extreme salty taste...they overpowered the sausage inside so all I was really getting was bacon bits. There was supposed to be chipotle mayo inside as well, but I don't think mine had it. Or it was also overpowered by the bacon bits. Burrito was grilled on both sides and wrapped up nicely. By the time I got it, it was still super hot. The green and red salsas are also delicious.

It's hard to find a good Taco Tuesday but they do a great job helping the community and keeping the prices $1.50 for basic meats like pollo, asada, and al pastor. I personally love my lengua and this truck has some of the best I've tried! It is a bit pricier but definitely worth it given the taste/quality. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot. Radishes are unfortunately not very crunchy/juicy at this location so I don't get it as often as I would at other taco spots. If you're ever in a rush, they do phone orders AND DoorDash. I've done all the methods and quality stays up there each time! However, if you do wanna enjoy your tacos right after they're prepared, you can always sit at their tables next to the truck. They have quite a bit of dining space and I've never seen it too crowded to the point of having difficulty finding a spot to sit. In terms of finding the truck, you just need to turn into S Hathaway St. Very close to the train tracks. I park in any free space they have there, since the businesses are usually closed after 5pm (which is when the truck opens).

Service was prompt and friendly - Elizabeth took my order. I opted for a burrito with carnitas, and a soda. Total was a little over $11 - decent price these days for lunch. This is a cash only spot - there's an ATM on the premises, but with exorbitant fees. There is a salsa bar directly behind the ordering counter - make sure to grab your condiments. Food came out in about 10 minutes - pretty quick, no complaints there. The biggest issue though was the lack of ventilation inside the restaurant. None of the windows were open, they didn't have A/C - I was literally sweating bullets and so uncomfortable, I lost my appetite for the equally hot burrito sitting in front of me. I just watched my colleagues eat and figured I'd eat my burrito when we all made it back to work. Two of them got a really delicious looking carne asada torta, while my other colleague indulged in lengua (yes, that's TONGUE) tacos. I politely declined his offer to try some (can't get over the texture of the tastebuds). If I had known that ventilation was a problem, I would've packed my portable fan I usually bring with me when I go to mom and pop spots where A/C might be a forgotten luxury. When I finally got around to eating my burrito back at the office, I noticed how stuffed it was - the protein to filling ratio was solid. Perfect amount of sauce, I didn't even need to add any of the mild verde salsa I had picked up. Decent sized parking lot - we didn't have any issues finding a spot despite coming during the lunch rush on Taco Tuesday. I'm giving it a 3-star since the uncomfortable dining room can really ruin the experience. I'll pack my portable fan next time my team stops by here though - if the fan alleviates the ventilation issue and I can actually enjoy the food on the spot/fresh from the grill - I'll update my review.
