Inside was crowded as well and a bit hectic during busy hours. Inside is spacious with multiple seats and tables as well as mild AC and free wifi. I got the maple oat latte. Once i placed the order it took about 5 minutes and picked it up at the window. The latte was not mixed very well initially so had to mix it well before drinking. But once it's mixed it was tasty. I tasted the hint of maple flavor mixed with bitterness of coffee and creaminess of oat milk. Service was good especially considering it was very busy at the time. Overall it's a nice cafe for quick stop or lounging with decent drink options. Price is on the pricier side but pretty standard for local coffee shop. Plus we got to sit and watch the parade without sitting in the sun. read more

Visiting family in the area this seemed to be the best option for coffee and a breakfast sandwich that was open. We ordered ahead online and everything was already waiting for us when we arrived. Was perfect considering the beautiful weather and how busy they were. It had a rustic feel overall with lots of seating both inside and out. They have a little free library as well. My wife and I each got a create your own breakfast sandwich. I appreciated the amount of options they had including even two sausage patties. I ended up going with a croissant double sausage patties, pepper jack cheese and tomatoes. My wife got a bagel sausage egg and cheese with spinach. Good sized and value for the price. Although, speaking of prices I did have a local family member tell me they raise prices during busy tourist season. Drink wise I got their signature. Choco-latte and my wife got their honey lavender latte seasonal special. Both were well made and full of flavor. Would definitely frequently come here if I were nearby for a morning coffee! On one of the hottest day I ordered the Brazilian Coconut Cherry Limeade. I think it was around $7-$8. The taste was extremely unique. It was something I never had before but I wouldn't say I was absolutely enjoying it or disappointed, it was just simply different. During off season, when practically everything else is closed, one can't help but be truly grateful when someone is willing to wake up and get ready, open the cafe doors, brew several flasks of coffee, and get everything else set up to serve food and specialty coffees. They were open both on NYE and New Year's Day serving coffee and food while providing a cozy environment (especially with the high winds and rain this week). Sitting here reading on my phone, I was able to watch all the different people coming in and out, settling in some of the tables with their warm brew, enjoying a break from the weather outside...all obviously thankful a few young members of the community were willing to be here these two days. Oh, did I say that the staff were really friendly? I'm definitely grateful for a place to sit and read with fresh coffee when the conditions were not great (or safe) for a long hike...and the rest of the town was deep in hibernation. Not to mention, they have the works of local artists in rotation and I was able to see some of the paintings being displayed on one of their main walls. After I ordered and paid they said oh sorry we are out of the maple tiny truffles what kind would you like to substitute with? This is a great spot to either order and leave or to hang out for a few hours. I've gone multiple times during my stay and had some hits and some misses. The iced Matcha Latte was not good (arguably it was slightly better hot). I was told the coffee is good for the most part except for early in the morning. And their specials, both the Peach Earl Grey Iced Tea and the Blueberry Cold Foam (separately) were incredible; although some may find the Peach Earl Grey Iced Tea a bit too sweet. For food I've only tried their Pork Carnitas salad and it wasn't flavored correctly at all, but I've heard great things about their breakfast bagels. I was a bit disappointed with this coffee place unfortunately. I was excited about their July specials since I came mainly for the matcha. I ordered the Berry Nutty Matcha (made with pistachio syrup & homemade raspberry syrup) and my sister ordered the Blondie Latte (made with butterscotch syrup & homemade vanilla syrup) - all of that sounds amazing, but we didn't taste any of the flavoring. My sister's latte tasted like regular iced coffee & my matcha tasted like regular matcha (and it wasn't even good matcha unfortunately). I did add stevia and more oat milk from their self service station, but it didn't really help. The staff was friendly and the danish tasted good, but I wouldn't come back solely because I didn't think the drinks were really any good. read more

Was not at all impressed with multiple issues. The whole place absolutely reeked of B.O. Like REAAAALLY bad. I can understand smelling somebody's odor from a couple feet away, but there was an insanely rotten smell that permeated the entire area by the cash registers. Maybe it could have been a patron instead of a staff member, but the smell seemed to be coming from the kitchen area and not the tables. But even if that odor was just a temporary, one-off issue, my biggest complaint was the service. The place was not at all busy, but it took over 20 minutes just to get a simple latte. I'm fine waiting that long for food, but in coffee world, that's just ridiculous. What's even worse is that once they finally served up my chocolate latte, is was insanely cold, and this is coming from somebody who doesn't even like their drinks very hot. It was so cold that it was honestly not even worthy of being called lukewarm. I would have taken it back, but I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes, especially in that horrendously funky smell, so I just took it home and microwaved it there. And honestly, it didn't even taste good enough to justify going back for the experience. Sorry guys. Maybe if you can encourage your staff to take some showers and speed up the coffee, it might be worth it. read more

I got the maine maple latte and garlic bagel with chive cream cheese- AMAZING. Everything tasted so fresh, the bagel was fluffy, the cream cheese was soft and buttery. Latte had the perfect amount of sweetness and the coffee itself had a very nice balance. As I was waiting the baristas and manager had to deal it ha very difficult customer (I'll say it, a b*tch) asking for them to cover her parking ticket, and watched as the employees dealt with the situation with grace and kindness. We had a quick and cozy pitstop at this coffee shop and Café at the edge of town. We ended up ordering the Mexican hot chocolate with oat milk and it was quite delicious! Had I not been sharing it with my family, I would've opted for the spicier version :-) they offer variety of hot chocolates, coffee, drinks, and Latin inspired breakfast and lunch. Came in this morning, bought a coffee and bagel, sat down and am sitting for five minute when I notice an old lady come in with a stack of frames and she walks up and looks at the wall above my table and the table a older man was sitting working on his laptop. When the table behind me becomes empty she brings over her stack of frames and tools and proceeds to attempt to hang the frames above me while kneeling on the barstool behind me! She nearly falls and hits my chair. She moves the chairs at my table and pulls the older man's charger off the wall and leans frames against the walls. Insane move on what I'm assuming is this owners part! Lawsuit waiting to happen when she hurts a customer!
