I ordered the original chocolate chip cookie 4/16/2025 at about 5:30pm and received my order 4/18/2025. The cookie was moist and flavorful with a nutty aftertaste to it (probably due to the oatmeal flour). Everyone I gave the cookies to thoroughly loved it and it is taking all my human as well as divine willpower not to eat the whole darn bag by myself. If you are looking for a vegan alternative to the standard cookies you find at other bakeries, the original chocolate chip cookie at the Chocolate and the Chip is it! My only complaint is that you cannot order other options at the half a dozen level. I wish I had more choices without committing to the cookie platter. read more

By popular request, we ordered the big cookie cake for my daughters birthday again! It was again a big hit with the kids and adults. I got it delivered the day before and it was so easy as usual. Chocolate and the Chip is an awesome cookie pop up that you can find on Saturdays at the parking of TJs and CVS as well as other locations depending on what they post on their IG. You can order ahead through their Instagram DM. The flavors will rotate as well though I've seen chocolate chip (original) and funfetti (sprinkles and white chocolate) pretty often. But theyll actively post on their IG. The coolers here are delicious and have a good balance of sweetness. The cookie is moist and soft/chewy on the inside and sturdy but not crunchy on the outside. I particularly liked the variety of texture in the funfetti. A cookie worth trying! read more

I was excited to try these cookies. I pre-ordered and picked up at their tent in Palms. It was super easy. But I noticed they were selling them there so i could have just done that, I think. About the cookies... they are very one-note and they're soft. Remember soft batch cookies? They're kinda like that. There is no texture differentiation.. no crispy edges. And the flavor did not stand out amongst the crowd. It's pretty easy to find epic chocolate chip cookies these days. Unfortunately, these are not. Also tried the pumpkin cookie. Just a soft chocolate chip cookie with pumpkin. It's almost impossible to have texture when working with pumpkin. I thought they might have mastered it but alas, they did not. They have a great Instagram and do great marketing so kudos to them and I do hope they succeed but honestly, they need to try the epic cookies in this town and retool. read more

Amazing! Cookies aren't hard to find at grocers, bakeries, or even your Mom's house for that matter, but these are special. We ordered online, but her pop-ups are convenient if you live in West LA. The namesake cookie is the original chocolate chip, but I was truly blown away by the seasonal selections. Cranberry walnut was unlike any cookie I've ever tasted while the apple cider cookie was absolutely amazing. The texture of these cookies stands out just as much as the alluring flavor combinations. They're perfectly firm and soft at the same time. The chips and other ingredients give a nice firm bite against the softer base. They truly are some of the best cookies I've had from this city. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what makes these cookies mouthwateringly delicious. It's probably a combination of all the little things (like top notch ingredients, baked not too chewy and not too hard, and unique flavors that rotate weekly). I tried the classic chocolate chip, funfetti, and chocolate and potato chip. Hands down funfetti was my fav simply b/c everything is better with sprinkles! Plus they were legit sprinkles, not the toxic-plastic-tasting-mouth-coating biohazard sprinkles. If I put my love of sprinkles aside, Id say all three were my fav. Each flavor is delicious and adds an interesting spin to a classic treat. Do yourself a favor and try all the flavors (like 3-4 a week.) The menu changes every week and some flavors don't come back or make a guest appearance in limited quantities. The owner is super nice, friendly, and quick to respond to questions. I'm glad I live kinda far from their pickup spots. Otherwise I'd get fat real fast! Give them a chance, you won't be disappointed! read more
