This is a gem of a place. There was a period that this is all I wanted for breakfast. The bagel sandwich with ham, bacon, eggs, and avocado. This is actually my favorite bagel sandwich place. It's so flavorful and you can't beat the prices. I don't know what kind of cheese they use, but it blends so well with everything else. If you purchase donut(s), they'll give you some donut holes for free. What a steal! I have yet to try to their boba. They have a lot of flavors which is really impressive. I've noticed that they have a lot of regulars and the staff know them well. That goes to tell you customer service is great. I never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my order. I live yeast donuts! Sugar, glazed, twisted, donut holes, they're all good. As a general rule of thumb I always try to get donuts in the morning, cause they're normally the freshest. This time we just so happen to be swinging by at 4pm and they still tasted amazing. Each donut was only $1, the guys behind the counter was very nice, and they seem to have a large selection of goods including boba and lotto tickets? It was an overall good experience. My coworker was kind enough to bring in a box of these to the office as part of a grander plan to traverse local donut shops in search of greatness. These donuts were nice and crisp in the AM, but lost their charm into the afternoon. A quick blast in the microwave caused them to perspire unclean grease profusely--a clear indication of basic preparation which was seconded by the feeling of lethargy that set in afterward. I suppose that much is to be expected from a random donut shop, but, restrictively, Sepulveda's flavor selection is very limited, and they are not open late like many other donut shops are, instead closing at 7pm (earlier on weekends). Fine for a quick fix of greased up sugar, but inferior in quality to Randy's or even Winchell's, though you will wait and pay slightly less here. read more

My husband and I come here all the time. The owners are super friendly and nice. Their donuts are good. We usually get 10 donut holes ($1). Sometimes, we get the regular twist, chocolate twist or sugar twist. All donuts are really light, fluffy and golden brown. They reminds me of spudnut. This is our favorite place in town for donuts. The people here are always the nicest, for years. Love that it's locally owned small business. Every year we celebrate birthdays with donuts at school; I come by a couple of days ahead of time, place my order and it's ready exactly when I need them (2 dozen+) and the kids rave about them. Kids that don't usually eat donuts will get these donuts and ask for seconds. Now the important part: I'm what you would call a self-described old fashioned donut aficionado. Because old fashioned are essentially a cake donut, they can be too dense, taste too much like oil, etc. basically you can easily mess up an old fashioned. NOT HERE. BOBA. That's what this review is about. A few people have also stumbled onto the fact that some really good, underrated Boba is to be had at a... DONUT SHOP, of all places! Their donuts are okay, I guess, so incase anyone wants that opinion -- they have a decent selection, nothing out of the ordinary, so if you basically want a quick sugar fix, this place is okay. But back to the Boba -- I wouldn't say this is the best Boba, but it's very good, and for a donut shop there's a pretty decent selection of drinks you can mix Boba into. And as a Boba lover, the fact that I can come here at 7am and get something with Boba in it, well that's just too good to pass up. Some people on here have complained about the service -- that's baloney. They're nice people. I've been here, not often, but in times of weakness it's nice having a donut shop within walking distance. I pass a McDonald's on the way there, so walking the extra 30 feet to ingest my unhealthy food choice makes it a healthier option. There's not much to say other than they serve donuts, donut holes, twisty things and other pastries. It's a run of the mill donut joint with drip coffee and a soda fountain. They even have a fridge with canned sodas and juice if want to make it a healthy OJ/donut breakfast. The one thing that sucks is that it's cash only and there's not a ATM with in walking distance.... well you could walk to the gas station on Sepulveda and Washington, and if I'm going to the gas station, I might as well buy a microwave burrito. read more

I also really enjoy their donuts and the owners are always friendly and attentive.
