this place is called CHOCOLATE bash so of course I'm gonna try it. There were so many chocolate options- as a chocolate lover I was happily overwhelmed? I got the chocolate lava cake and it was as delicious as you'd imagine a lava cake to be. The service was quick and there was plenty of seating inside to enjoy the dessert.

First time at Chocolate Bash as I had been craving something sweet for days and knew I had come here after finding it on Yelp. First off, the sweet woman behind the counter (I believe her name was Mitra which was listed on my receipt) was so helpful and patient with me and my friend as we couldn't decide on what to get. Mitra answered all our annoying questions and gave us helpful suggestions on what the most popular treats were. We finally settled on the creppucini with cookie butter topping, strawberry spread, and fresh strawberries. This was very yummy and not overly sweet as I expected it to be and enough of a portion to share among 4 people I think. We ate as much as we could before I asked for a box to bring home and my family enjoyed it just as much as I did. I would definitely recommend Chocolate Bash and come back whenever I'm in the area.

Came here on a Saturday to grab some dessert. There was no line so I was helped right away. I ordered the bash burger and cream puffs. The bash burger is huge! It comes with 4 pancakes, 3 types of fruit, and drowned in Belgian chocolate. The chocolate is rich, but not to the point where it's too much. It goes well with the fruit and hot pancakes. The cream puffs are light and refreshing. It also comes with Belgian chocolate, but we were able to substitute it with cookie butter and apple fritter. Super tasty! I appreciate the server helping me out. He answered all my questions and was super easy to talk to. Definitely check out Chocolate Bash if you're in the area

The staff ARE the ones who make this place amazing. The beautiful woman and gentleman behind the counter made the experience super enjoyable. The location is in the middle of downtown and you can park in the structure if there isn't parking available elsewhere. As for the ambiance, loved the music and the sitting there was available. Food was too chocolaty for someone who has hormonal imbalance and insulin resistance, BUT I enjoyed a few bites! I had a strawberry which was delicious and the kinder crepe was yummy. The banana roll was pretty cool and also tasty. Hands down, if you're a chocolate fan, this place is a must go, and tell them I sent you!

The amount of sweetness that is used here can cause anyone in a diabetic coma to wake up and immediately run a marathon!!! Just from the smells and fragrance coming from this place, I probably added a good 2 inches to the waistline. They are one of the few establishments in downtown claremont that's actually open until 10 pm on a weekday. They have a pretty nice menu, though. From already made desserts and chocalate covered strawberries. To build your own desserts where you start with a base, such as a crepe, a waffle, mini pancakes. Then you add the type of drizzle or dressing you want (chocolate, honey, sugar, etc), then the type of topping on it. They make each one to order. I went with a crepe with a butter honey drizzle topped with cheese cake bites. Came out in about 5-10 minutes. It was a good amount of dessert for $12.62. It was really good. You can taste the butter and honey. The crepe was thin and soft. The cheese cake bites were just the right amount of decadence. I also had some of their cream puffs. They were pillowy and light with a lot of cream inside. Would go great with some coffee, which they also serve here. Only reason I gave them 4 stars is right after eating from here, I got an immediate stomachache. I don't know what it was from. Either the sweetness or the butter or what, but man, did my stomach hurt afterward!! But to satisfy my sweet tooth, I would come back and try their other menu items!!

The place is smaller than most stores, so I would not recommend staying here to sit and eat treats with a big group. However, the sweets and options you can get from here is great. I purchased chocolate strawberries, smoothie, fudge brownie, etc. and each item was delicious and nice for an after eating snack. The strawberries were especially fresh. The workers there were nice and efficient.

If you have a huge sweet tooth or a love for chocolate, this is the place to go! Quite expensive for what it is though. You have to pay for each additional add-on. We saw the Kinder Crepe on the window and decided to get that, but the worker told us that everything that was on the picture (strawberries, banana, kinder bar) had to be added on separately! It would have been like $15 for all of it, which for what it is, is super pricey. Also, some of the shakes are $10 w/ tax. We got the chocolate shake and it literally just tasted like blended ice with chocolate syrup. However, the Kinder Crepe was pretty tasty along with the chocolate covered strawberries. Would I come here again? No. But I am glad I tried it!

It was ok. Maybe I didn't order it right or know what I'm doing. I was in the area and decided to try them out. Don't take my 3 stars as a bad thing. It's simply because I wasn't wowed and this thing was $15 lol Maybe that's standard. Maybe I'm cheap. Idk. Back to the food. This is probably my second time having a crepe. Ever. So I might not be the right guy to rate this. But again, this is my experience. The chocolate and white chocolate were good. A bit thick. And messy. You're going to need napkins lol I only got bananas and strawberries as toppings. The crepe was soft. But that's about it. So I won't be back. Not in a bad way. But there's other crepe places to try. Service here was really good. The workers were very helpful and informative. So shout out to them. Thanks for the unique experience. Keep up the good work.

Delicious!! I got the crepe with cookie butter, cookie butter crumbs, cheesecake bites, and ice cream. I was honestly surprised just how delicious it was! It was around $18 for just the crepe, which is expensive for me, but it is a nice treat for when you can afford it! The employees were very nice and helpful. The inside was clean and enjoyable as well.

I was craving something sweet so I chose to get a crepe and this place opened recently near my work. It's all desserts, some european chocolate brands and some drinks. I chose a crepe ($4.99) with some nutella ($3.99) and mini marshmallows ($0.99) to put on top of it. My crepe was $8.97 in total, the price can vary depending on the toppings. It would be good treat once in a while. I got a first time visitor discount (10% off). They are running an online order only deal too on their site. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

Calling all chocolate lovers...We had the crepe sushi with milk chocolate drizzle and it was so good. It is very rich so it's definitely shareable. The service was great and store was nice and clean.

Not that great! Very over priced food and lackluster taste. I went 2 times. The first time I got a crepe with cookie butter. This ended up costing me $11. A crepe with just 1 topping for $11!! No thanks. The crepe wasn't even that good. The second time I went I got a Nutella milkshake. It didn't even taste like a milkshake. It tasted more like a Frappuccino from Starbucks. It had a icy texture not a milky one. I didn't care for it. It was also like $8! This place is overrated. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is the staff is nice. read more

This place is a tasty little gem in the downtown area of Claremont village. This place is great if You have a sweet tooth and particularly if you love CHOCOLATE!!!! I came once or twice before to indulge in the delicious chocolate strawberries and every time i would go in I would see their pics of custom strawberry orders. They do wedding design strawberries, they do bumble bee strawberries, they had one decorated in cute baby designed strawberries. So I knew my mom's 65th birthday was coming up and we were having a nice dinner for her and these strawberries would be a perfect surprise for dessert!!!! Chocolate covered strawberries are her favorite!!! I called in advance to place my order and got the assorted chocolate strawberries with the mini chocolate chips and toffee chips. The staff was so friendly when I placed my order and were very patient with me because I was indecisive about picking out which design I wanted. It was her big 65th so I just wanted everything perfect. Day of my order the strawberries were made fresh for me that day and were a hitttt at the birthday dinner. My family kept asking me where I ordered them from? Where was this location? Even saying " I rather have these than a cake for my birthday". Ultimately, if you're a chocolate lover and are in the Claremont area you definitely need to visit this spot and place your orders. read more

A dessert place called Chocolate Bash in Claremont on Indian Hill Blvd. in the village is the absolute bomb! Just park across from the train tracks. I have been there 5 times since I discovered it 3 weeks ago. I am from Belgium and their chocolate is as good as in Belgium. I swear to God maybe even better. Their fruit platter with melted chocolate is phenomenal. Their fruit cups with melted chocolate and their chocolate covered strawberries are fantastic. Don't get me started on their hot cocoa! They also have waffles, crepes and pancakes. My kids and I agree theirs is the best chocolate we have had in our lives and I am a gourmet who has traveled all over Europe. You have got to try it out! I have told my kids we will go there once a week if they do their homework without giving me a hard time. Chocolate Bash is worth it! read more

I've been to the one in LA, and when I saw they were opening in Claremont I got so excited! The nutella is a classic, and the pistachio is the perfect amount of sweet. & I loved the mini pancakes because they were so fluffy. the staff is so sweet and it's so interesting to watch them make it!! read more

Oh boy first time ever experiencing a dessert place. I was so thrilled over how you can build your own. I had the waffle with pistachio & Nutella along with the scoop of ice cream . It is quite expensive but it's enough quantity to feed 2 maybe 3. I was very happy with the cashiers' patience being we were there for the first time not knowing or familiar how our choices were to be. I will be returning again and sharing the establishment with other family members. You can even sit in and enjoy your treat. I did notice it was a bit warm in there though they could use a little cooler air. The service was friendly and welcoming she was very sweet. We even got a 10% discount cause it was our first time that was very nice of her. read more

This place just opened a couple of weeks ago in our neighborhood. My sister and I decided to stop in, and was NOT disappointed! With a lot of help and recommendations from the staff, we ordered the mini pancakes topped with apple cinnamon sauce and cookie butter. The desserts here all looked delicious, and our pancakes were amazing! What was even better than the pancakes was the kindness of the staff. They felt like friends that I haven't seen in a while. Highly highly recommend this place. The best customer service, delicious treats and overall good prices. Ali the store manager is very welcoming and has the best employees. The Pumpkin Pie Crepe tasted exactly like a pumpkin pie, as expected. However, it wasn't too sweet and had more of a real pumpkin flavor that pair very nicely with the pecans and caramel drizzle. The crepe was cooked perfectly and held together nicely with all the other ingredients. The portion size was large and could be shared between two people. The Turkish Coffee was okay in my opinion, but it could be because I'm not used to it. Creamer and sugar packets are provided. The coffee alone was very bold and almost had a burnt taste, but not in a bad way; bringing out the flavor of the coffee beans more. I think if flavors of the coffee were offered then it would definitely be a favorite. My partner tried the frozen yogurt and she enjoyed it very much. The serving size was large as well, enough for two-three people. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. To my knowledge, no military nor first responder discount offered.

A month later …read more... Officially a regular at Grafted Cellars. Obsessed with every edible item on their menu so I'm here on a weekly basis. Omar the bartender is still as wonderful as Day One. I was finally able to figure out his last name. (It wasn't given out willingly and he made me guess after dropping a single hint). Will be on my way to collect my free bottle of wine for the month of June. Grafted Cellars is such a lovely place. I've met new friends as well as reunited with old ones. So glad I've found a place to be able to call "my hangout".
