This place is in a large shopping center, but it's not easily visible from the inside of the shopping center, but is just on the other side of Starbucks. Once we figured out where we were going, it was easy to park. Chocolate Bash is one of those places where there are almost too many choices! They have ice cream! They have crepes! You can customize a crepe, pancakes, or mini pancakes! It's a dessert-lover's dream. We opted for the mini pancakes with dark chocolate and cookie-butter cookie crumbs, which were delicious. Everything is made to order, as you want it, so I got to watch the employee making the tiny pancakes. We split an order which was about right for an after dinner treat, though I could see you could order something larger if you wanted to indulge. Definitely want to come back and try other combinations. I love how they had many choices available.

Fun spot to get your dessert on with a wide selection to choose from and they're open late. Easy to park in the shopping center and quick walk to the front of the main street Snell Avenue). Greeted by a friendly worker who was patient as we decided on what to order and our items came out quick. Hope to be back soon to enjoy a littler more time inside their very clean store.

We have been here quite a few times & our son chose our dessert today. We usually order the Dubai strawberries, today I ordered the fresas con "crema", I think it should be relabeled as fresas/strawberries with WHIPPED CREAM. Very disappointing, not worth the $14+ dollars for strawberries & whipped cream in a cup. Called & tried to ask/confirm it was made correctly & of course no answer. I even thought oh Maybe it's on the bottom......NOPE, just whip cream. Not actual CREMA.

I usually order from here through Uber Eats and I absolutely love it! My go-to is the Strawberry Dubai Cone with Kataif, and it never disappoints. The strawberries are always super fresh, which makes such a difference. It's a light, refreshing dessert that totally hits the spot every time. I ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberries at this spot when they opened at 12 on Sunday on a whim! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, the price does come in steep at around $18 but it's a nice once in a while sweet treat. I've never had Dubai chocolate on its own previously, but I think the strawberries add the perfect level of tartness to what would otherwise become a bit overwhelming in terms of sugar levels for me! The trick is to get the right ratio of chocolate to strawberry in each bite. I can definitely see why it has become a viral sensation online. The combination of a classically known sweet (milk chocolate) with less commonly used ingredients in the Western world (knafeh and tahini paste) definitely add to its intrigue. The texture is creamy, flaky, and fleshy due to the different components in this. I'd definitely come back to try more of their dishes and to order the same thing again.

I'm so glad Chocolate Bash has made its way to the South Bay! I stopped by recently and treated myself to their mini pancakes topped with strawberries, Nutella, and Oreos. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, the toppings were generous, and the combination of fresh fruit with rich chocolate and crunchy cookies was perfect. I also couldn't resist trying their popular Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. Each strawberry was coated in thick, decadent chocolate alongside the crunchy knafeh with pistachio cream -- the best combo wombo lol It was pretty busy when I came in so the service was a bit on the slower side (Saturday night). But the staff was super friendly and working hard to keep things moving. I really appreciated their positive attitude despite the rush. There's also plenty of seating, and they even have fun board games like Connect Four and Uno to pass the time while you wait. It's such a great spot to hang out with friends or satisfy your sweet tooth. If you're a dessert lover like me, Chocolate Bash is a must-visit. So happy they're now in the South Bay!!

I love pistachio and I wanted to try their Dubai Chocolates so I didn't mind driving 10+ miles to San Jose and wait 45 minutes for the food. They were out of Dubai Chocolate bars when I go to the front of the line. It took about 15 minutes to get to order the food in addition to the 45 minute wait to get the food. Got the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup. It was $17.99 for fresh strawberries drizzled with pistachio "icing" and chocolate. The pistachio icing tasted like pistachio flavored white chocolate. Very mild pistachio flavor. The strawberries were sweet. It was good but very pricey for $17.99. Got the Knafeh Cookie Butter chocolate bar be Dubai Chocolate was out. It was also good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The little bits of crunchy pieces filling made it interesting. Ice cream with brownies was good but nothing to note.

Service was friendly and patient. Our order was completed quickly. Their menu is extensive. We asked what a bash cup was and even after being given the answer we didn't really know what it was. Their Instagram marketing has gotten people in the door and seemingly every customer is trying the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. Where they lost points: 1) price. $18 is steep for what you get and $9 for a Twix milkshake about the size of grande cup. Neither were impressive enough to cost double what they seemed worth. With tip and tax our total was over $30. Eek! 2) the shop was in need of a cleaning. The floors, tables, and trash can were all very dirty which made dining there feel a bit gross. It was worth a try, but I'm not expecting to be back.

Nice to have a small business in the South Bay open a little later for a sweet treat, and a chocolate one at that! Next to Mr. Pickles is a nice location and getting a good hot made for you crepe is not easy, any crepe really. Pretty average place. My wife and I visited on a Sunday night and it didn't seem incredibly busy. We were immediately greeted upon walking in, but had to wait 3 minutes or so for our someone to take our order even though we were first in line. This place seemed to have an influx of orders. We then waited nearly 35 minutes for our order to be completed. This is completely unacceptable considering the fact that we ordered 1 crepe. The gentleman up front apologized for the wait, however, which was nice. The crepe wasn't all that great either, but the chocolate was good. We ordered an Oreo crumble crepe with milk chocolate. The crepe was paper thin and tasted a bit flat overall. Not a lot of flavor popping out of this. read more

Chocolate Bash hits, especially when I bring my nephews and friends! I usually get the sampler and mini pancakes, and everything is so good. The pancakes are delicious and topped with the perfect amount of chocolate and fresh strawberries. Went here today with 2 friends. Nice staff, spacious seating area, and clean! I came here to write about the Kinder milkshake. They have other flavors but this is the one I got. FIRE!! I'm not even a huge fan of milkshakes but this is easily one of the best ones I've ever had. I'm interested in trying their other flavors next time. I also really liked the mini pancakes from their sampler plate. It was covered in Nutella and some other topping. It was very good. Will be back again someday. read more

I was really disappointed with the new pistachio knafeh chocolate bar. the chocolate was very soft and mushy. It is supposed to be a tempered crisp chocolate bar with filling in it, and I got untempered soft chocolate. The chocolate bar was also very small for the $12 they charged for a chocolate bar that wasn't even tempered correctly. The filling tasted good but the untempered chocolate ruined the whole chocolate bar and it does not have a good texture. read more

I ordered this on Uber Eats and have never been more disappointed. I ordered the strawberries covered in pistachio and chocolate & the Dubai chocolate bar. I don't know how they managed to make a SOGGY chocolate bar, but it was so overpriced for how bad the quality is. Pro tip to the restaurant- if you do not completely cover the filling with chocolate (which you didn't), mold can develop within a week. you clearly do not know how to temper chocolate given how soggy it was / all the filling spilling out of it. Also the chocolate/pistachio strawberries were hard as a rock. I'm not sure if they used real chocolate or the chocolate melting wafers that harden, but it was inedible unless I microwaved it, which made for a horrible strawberry experience. read more

I was excited to try Dubai chocolate for the first time and came to this place with high expectations. When I walked in, I stood in front of the cashier, waiting to be helped. I understand they were busy, but not once did anyone acknowledge me or even say, "I'll be with you shortly." I waited for over 15 minutes while the staff walked past me without a word. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, no line, fast service, and lots of options to look at! I got the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and it was actually really good. Big strawberries, not too much chocolate compared to pistachio. It was thicker than I thought it would be, but still good. Personally, I think a little more kataifi would be nice since it's thick. It did cost $17.99, so this will just be a special sweet treat every once in a while when I'm craving it! read more

First time I was her was amazing. This time owner was a rude A$$hole. People warned us before we walked in service was terrible tonight. Should have listened. Owner seen me looking at the menu 2 feet from the register didn't say nothing walked to the back and had some other person tell me we aren't taking orders anymore. He could have told me himself. Checked out this new dessert shop in south San Jose last week and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth! I personally really enjoyed the sushi crepe, would definitely recommend y'all to try. The service is great, and they make your drinks very fast. The taste is very consistent, and they do have a large menu with lots of different items other than matcha. My only downside is the variety of matcha over the recent year. From last year and this year, the menu for matcha has not changed much, and it seems like I get the same taste every time I go. While the first time was enjoyable, after it just gets repetitive. I love Izumi, but I really wish there was a rotation between drinks.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Chocolate Bash. This place is extremely overpriced/overhyped for what they offer, and the quality doesn't justify the cost. We ordered the sampler platter, which was nearly $30, and the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, which was $18 for maybe 8 strawberries in a tiny cup. Total for only 2 items was $50. Definitely not worth the price. Service was slow, and the sampler platter was a letdown. The lady at the counter didn't explain the menu at all, leaving us confused. The sampler platter on display looked appealing, but ours looked like something I can easily make at home. She asked us to choose our toppings, but the menu said toppings were extra--so what exactly were we paying for? If we didn't pay for the toppings, would we have just gotten plain pancakes, waffles, and crepes? To make it worse, the crepe on the platter only had Kinder chocolate bar pieces inside--nothing special. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

I was really excited to try this place, especially since they offered delivery, which made it easy for my two boys to enjoy a treat after a long week. We ordered four items, totaling $60, which seemed reasonable for what we were expecting. However, when our order arrived, we only received a crepe and a candy bar, missing the cheesecake and lava cake we'd ordered. At no point were we informed that these items were unavailable, yet we were still charged the full amount. Had I known, I wouldn't have placed the order, as it left two of my kids without dessert. When I contacted the delivery driver, he mentioned that he was told the items were out of stock only when he arrived to pick up the order. Despite this, I still haven't received a refund for the missing items. The lack of communication and delay in resolving this has left me feeling taken advantage of, and unfortunately, it's deterred me from wanting to give this business another try. read more

I opted for the mini pancake to dine in and planned on taking the Dubai strawberry to go. However, the pancake was so disappointing that we decided to leave without the strawberry. We ordered the pancake with milk chocolate and crispy knafeh. The additional charge of 1.99 for the knafeh seemed excessive, especially considering the sparse amount that was actually provided. Only two pieces had an adequate serving, while the rest were lacking. Regrettably, we will not be revisiting this place. read more

Just what the bay needed! Going crazy viral right now, rightfully so. Sooo many options, makes me feel like a kid again. Real cool and friendly ambiance, all pink and brown. Milkshakes are riiiich, the crepes, waffles and pancakes are heavenly but the Dubai chocolate and other chocolate bites you can never say no to. Bestest Dubai Pistachio sauce we have had yet. All items are easy to take on the go, and really cute to-go boxes as well. This brand from So-cal is even in Dubai and Qatar, so I am glad we got it here before the rest of America. Chocolate Bash is awesome! I got their waffle with strawberries, crushed biscuits, and chocolate drizzle, and it was so good. The waffle was crispy and fluffy, the chocolate was rich, and the fresh strawberries tied it all together perfectly. Everything tasted amazing, and the presentation was on point. The vibe in the shop is super chill, and they even have games like Uno, which makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends while enjoying some great desserts.
