10/10 the deserts, drinks, coffee and atmosphere is perfect. Service is quick given everything is made to order ( no day old pancakes or waffles!) Must try is the small pancakes and my favorite shake is the cookie butter.

I am not on the Dubai chocolate wagon, but I do love chocolate, so we stopped by here before going to dinner and wanted to comment that the store was bright and clean and the service was amazing. Ronnie ordered a Bash Shake: peanut butter and I ordered a Bash Special - the brownie ice-cream cup (sundae). We waited less than 3 min. I did not try the shake, but my brownie ice-cream cup was so rich and decadent. This is definitely not for a non-chocolate lover. I enjoyed it and cannot wait to go back to try their other items.

I usually order from here through Uber Eats and I absolutely love it! My go-to is the Strawberry Dubai Cone with Kataif, and it never disappoints. The strawberries are always super fresh, which makes such a difference. It's a light, refreshing dessert that totally hits the spot every time. This place is in a large shopping center, but it's not easily visible from the inside of the shopping center, but is just on the other side of Starbucks. Once we figured out where we were going, it was easy to park. Chocolate Bash is one of those places where there are almost too many choices! They have ice cream! They have crepes! You can customize a crepe, pancakes, or mini pancakes! It's a dessert-lover's dream. We opted for the mini pancakes with dark chocolate and cookie-butter cookie crumbs, which were delicious. Everything is made to order, as you want it, so I got to watch the employee making the tiny pancakes. We split an order which was about right for an after dinner treat, though I could see you could order something larger if you wanted to indulge. Definitely want to come back and try other combinations. I love how they had many choices available.

Fun spot to get your dessert on with a wide selection to choose from and they're open late. Easy to park in the shopping center and quick walk to the front of the main street Snell Avenue). Greeted by a friendly worker who was patient as we decided on what to order and our items came out quick. Hope to be back soon to enjoy a littler more time inside their very clean store.

We have been here quite a few times & our son chose our dessert today. We usually order the Dubai strawberries, today I ordered the fresas con "crema", I think it should be relabeled as fresas/strawberries with WHIPPED CREAM. Very disappointing, not worth the $14+ dollars for strawberries & whipped cream in a cup. Called & tried to ask/confirm it was made correctly & of course no answer. I even thought oh Maybe it's on the bottom......NOPE, just whip cream. Not actual CREMA.

I ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberries at this spot when they opened at 12 on Sunday on a whim! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, the price does come in steep at around $18 but it's a nice once in a while sweet treat. I've never had Dubai chocolate on its own previously, but I think the strawberries add the perfect level of tartness to what would otherwise become a bit overwhelming in terms of sugar levels for me! The trick is to get the right ratio of chocolate to strawberry in each bite. I can definitely see why it has become a viral sensation online. The combination of a classically known sweet (milk chocolate) with less commonly used ingredients in the Western world (knafeh and tahini paste) definitely add to its intrigue. The texture is creamy, flaky, and fleshy due to the different components in this. I'd definitely come back to try more of their dishes and to order the same thing again.

I'm so glad Chocolate Bash has made its way to the South Bay! I stopped by recently and treated myself to their mini pancakes topped with strawberries, Nutella, and Oreos. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, the toppings were generous, and the combination of fresh fruit with rich chocolate and crunchy cookies was perfect. I also couldn't resist trying their popular Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. Each strawberry was coated in thick, decadent chocolate alongside the crunchy knafeh with pistachio cream -- the best combo wombo lol It was pretty busy when I came in so the service was a bit on the slower side (Saturday night). But the staff was super friendly and working hard to keep things moving. I really appreciated their positive attitude despite the rush. There's also plenty of seating, and they even have fun board games like Connect Four and Uno to pass the time while you wait. It's such a great spot to hang out with friends or satisfy your sweet tooth. If you're a dessert lover like me, Chocolate Bash is a must-visit. So happy they're now in the South Bay!!

I love pistachio and I wanted to try their Dubai Chocolates so I didn't mind driving 10+ miles to San Jose and wait 45 minutes for the food. They were out of Dubai Chocolate bars when I go to the front of the line. It took about 15 minutes to get to order the food in addition to the 45 minute wait to get the food. Got the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup. It was $17.99 for fresh strawberries drizzled with pistachio "icing" and chocolate. The pistachio icing tasted like pistachio flavored white chocolate. Very mild pistachio flavor. The strawberries were sweet. It was good but very pricey for $17.99. Got the Knafeh Cookie Butter chocolate bar be Dubai Chocolate was out. It was also good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The little bits of crunchy pieces filling made it interesting. Ice cream with brownies was good but nothing to note.

Service was friendly and patient. Our order was completed quickly. Their menu is extensive. We asked what a bash cup was and even after being given the answer we didn't really know what it was. Their Instagram marketing has gotten people in the door and seemingly every customer is trying the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. Where they lost points: 1) price. $18 is steep for what you get and $9 for a Twix milkshake about the size of grande cup. Neither were impressive enough to cost double what they seemed worth. With tip and tax our total was over $30. Eek! 2) the shop was in need of a cleaning. The floors, tables, and trash can were all very dirty which made dining there feel a bit gross. It was worth a try, but I'm not expecting to be back.

$10 for Dubai Chocolate Bar Average price market wise. Not tempered, just frozen chocolate. Has all the ingredients, but the knafeh is in smaller bits (so it looks like a dog chow texture). Great additional DAWN DISH SOAP flavor that coats the bar. Don't know if it's safe to eat, so we didn't finish the bar. read more

Love this place. I've tried a few of the Dubai chocolates and associated sweets in San Jose, this is by far the best. The ratio of chocolate to pistachio is perfect to me. I've had the chocolate bar and the Dubai strawberry cup. The cup had plenty of melted chocolate pistachio cream that I saved the leftover to eat with more strawberries at home. I appreciate that, as the price point is high. That being said, I don't mind paying for the occasional treat that keeps on giving. They also have international chocolate and candy bars. You can also get any of the fruit they sell as a Dubai fruit cup! Be sure to eat it right away because the sauce does harden. The staff is friendly. I go early in the day when it's quieter. read more

I usually don't write reviews if it's negative but this one really didn't meet my expectations. First off, it was really over hyped on social media to the point I had to take my son here. We had the Dubai Chocolate bar and it def was not close to being good, this is me comparing it to the actual ones that I've tried from Dubai while traveling there. Second, their prices are just insane. Any item on their menu is the price of an entree at a restaurant. Third, and most important one. Their cashier was wearing gloves and handled transactions. Soon as she was done with my order she went straight to the back to handle packaging and touching the desserts. This is unacceptable. Will not be coming back. read more

What stuck out to me the most was that the service was great! Everyone was super friendly and attentive. We got the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries and they honestly live in my head rent free. The strawberries were pricey especially because the cup is kinda small, but honestly still worth trying at least once because it was so tasty! read more

You're doing to have to wait a while for the order is because the place is killing it, and it gets really busy. My wife and I love the Belgian Chocolate fondue and it's a regular treat for us. Also, the Dubai Chocolate bar is fantastic. The strawberry cup wasn't my favorite. People have been complaining about the cost. Great chocolate costs $$ and I'm willing to pay for quality, and I'm willing to wait for it too. Love it. Give yourself a treat and go. read more

I'm writing to share an extremely disappointing experience I had at Chocolate Bash today with my children. We stopped by around 3:16 PM after school, and my kids ordered nearly $83 worth of items -- primarily the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries, which they were excited for. At the time of our order, it was not busy. Only one customer had ordered before us. The first item to come out was a crepe for my daughter, followed by two of the three Dubai Cups we ordered. We waited patiently, but the third cup was nowhere to be found even by 3:40 PM -- nearly 25 minutes after we ordered. During this time, we watched multiple other customers come in, order the same Dubai Cups, and leave with their orders while ours was still incomplete. When I finally asked the older woman working there about the delay, her response was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She said, "I don't know why people think they can order here and get their order fast." I was shocked by her attitude, especially considering we had been waiting patiently for over 30 minutes and had spent a considerable amount of money. She tried to justify the delay by saying that because we ordered pastries, it took longer -- but that made no sense since the pastry was the first item we received. By the time we finally got the third cup, the two cups that were made earlier had become soggy and unappetizing. Chocolate-covered strawberries should never be sitting out for 20+ minutes waiting on the rest of the order to be completed. Not once did anyone apologize or acknowledge the delay. There was no offer to correct the issue, no offer of a refund, and no accountability. For a premium-priced dessert shop, this kind of service is unacceptable. The lack of organization, poor customer service, and rude behavior from staff completely ruined what should have been a simple treat for my children. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I'll be sharing this experience with others as well. I sincerely hope that your team takes this feedback seriously and retrains your staff on how to treat paying customers with basic respect and courtesy. read more

This place is so cute! Came here for the viral Dubai Chocolate Bar, but will be returning for all the other options they have. I got a cookie butter latte, mini pancakes with condensed milk drizzle and a waffle. The service was amazing. There was one guy working and he made my order fresh and even added some chocolate drizzle to my pancakes (after asking if course). Late was delicious and the kids loved the food. Next time I come here I'll be getting a jar of their arabic coffee! read more

I was really excited to visit and try everything on the menu, especially with all the hype around the Dubai chocolate and strawberries. But my experience was ruined the moment I walked in. No greeting, no acknowledgment--I just patiently waited in line. Then, a "pretty girl" walks up, and the young employee (who seemed new) immediately greets her. She asks about the Dubai chocolate, and while he initially says they're out, he suddenly decides to "check the back" and conveniently finds the last bar for her--completely skipping over me in line. This kind of service is unacceptable. If favoritism is how they operate, I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

Loved it!!!! We found our dessert place! What a charming place for great desserts. We went there on a whim since the kids were looking for an after-dinner dessert. We walked in and tried a couple of items along with Hot Chocolate and teas(pink and karak tea). The good thing is that the desserts were not overly sweet and were thoroughly enjoyed. Plus, the kids liked playing the numerous board games while we the parents got a few minutes for ourselves. You get your tea and hot chocolates piping hot, so be careful as the lids dont secure properly, melting/deforming over the cups. Could be a great breakfast spot if they open early. read more

We came in today specifically for the Dubai Cup, but unfortunately, they were out. The staff recommended the strawberry cup with cookie butter instead. The strawberry cup starts at $12.99, which is already steep for about 6 strawberries and a little chocolate drizzle. Adding cookie butter drizzle tacked on another $3, and Knafeh cost an extra $2, bringing the total close to $18. Honestly, I couldn't help but feel completely ripped off! There is absolutely no reason this should cost anywhere near that much. The portion and ingredients just don't justify the price. Not sure how long this place will last.... read more

Great place to satisfy my sweet tooth! Choices of crepes, mini pancakes, waffles or regular pancakes covered in lots of delicious choices. The mini pancakes were made fresh and were delicious covered in chocolate and mini m&ms. Hubby got an ice cream cup where the chocolate made a nice hard crust. Delicious. SCAM !!! SCAM!!! SCAM !!!! These guys are running a bait and switch operation with deceptive online marketing. Came across them on IG advertising a Dubai strawberry cup. picture on the left is what they advertise picture on the right is what they gave me. Absolutely ridiculous! Not only was it 18 + tax but look at the difference. The cup they advertise is larger, more strawberries, more chocolate, more pistachio. The cup they served us on the right was smaller and empty of toppings. I'm gonna put a stop on my credit card and report them to the BBB for deceptive advertising and I have proof read more

This store was one of my favorite dessert shops in Southern California over the past few years and I thought it’d be a great idea to bring it to the Bay Area! Years later, here we are with chocolate bash located in San Jose :).

I was really disappointed with my experience at Chocolate Bash. This place is extremely overpriced/overhyped for what they offer, and the quality doesn't justify the cost. We ordered the sampler platter, which was nearly $30, and the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, which was $18 for maybe 8 strawberries in a tiny cup. Total for only 2 items was $50. Definitely not worth the price. Service was slow, and the sampler platter was a letdown. The lady at the counter didn't explain the menu at all, leaving us confused. The sampler platter on display looked appealing, but ours looked like something I can easily make at home. She asked us to choose our toppings, but the menu said toppings were extra--so what exactly were we paying for? If we didn't pay for the toppings, would we have just gotten plain pancakes, waffles, and crepes? To make it worse, the crepe on the platter only had Kinder chocolate bar pieces inside--nothing special. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

I was really excited to try this place, especially since they offered delivery, which made it easy for my two boys to enjoy a treat after a long week. We ordered four items, totaling $60, which seemed reasonable for what we were expecting. However, when our order arrived, we only received a crepe and a candy bar, missing the cheesecake and lava cake we'd ordered. At no point were we informed that these items were unavailable, yet we were still charged the full amount. Had I known, I wouldn't have placed the order, as it left two of my kids without dessert. When I contacted the delivery driver, he mentioned that he was told the items were out of stock only when he arrived to pick up the order. Despite this, I still haven't received a refund for the missing items. The lack of communication and delay in resolving this has left me feeling taken advantage of, and unfortunately, it's deterred me from wanting to give this business another try. read more

I opted for the mini pancake to dine in and planned on taking the Dubai strawberry to go. However, the pancake was so disappointing that we decided to leave without the strawberry. We ordered the pancake with milk chocolate and crispy knafeh. The additional charge of 1.99 for the knafeh seemed excessive, especially considering the sparse amount that was actually provided. Just what the bay needed! Going crazy viral right now, rightfully so. Sooo many options, makes me feel like a kid again. Real cool and friendly ambiance, all pink and brown. Milkshakes are riiiich, the crepes, waffles and pancakes are heavenly but the Dubai chocolate and other chocolate bites you can never say no to. Bestest Dubai Pistachio sauce we have had yet. All items are easy to take on the go, and really cute to-go boxes as well. This brand from So-cal is even in Dubai and Qatar, so I am glad we got it here before the rest of America. Chocolate Bash is awesome! I got their waffle with strawberries, crushed biscuits, and chocolate drizzle, and it was so good. The waffle was crispy and fluffy, the chocolate was rich, and the fresh strawberries tied it all together perfectly. Everything tasted amazing, and the presentation was on point. The vibe in the shop is super chill, and they even have games like Uno, which makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends while enjoying some great desserts. They were not as good as some of the other fruit tea places around town, but they did the job. They were refreshing. I didn't think they were worth $6 each, but I'm glad I stoped by to try them.

Unlike most places, you order from a person not a tablet. The person I ordered from was a little brusque, but my drink came out quickly. I got the red moonshine with only 50% sweetness, and it was very refreshing and not sweet at all. They have some foosball tables and nice couches inside. The decor looks comfortable.

I asked the cashier if I could get plain apple juice, which wasn't on the menu, and she offered to make a fresh squeezed drink or one from store bought apple juice. I went with store bought and it tasted great. My sister had The Incredibowl, which is organic açaí, different kinds of fruit, granola, almond butter and milk, and honey. She seemed to enjoy it at first and then pushed it away when she got about halfway through. Not sure what happened. The cafe is small and cozy with just a few tables inside and a few more outside. Our food was brought out to us in a bag, which I thought was weird since we were dining in. My sandwich was hot and very delicious. The chicken was very tender and not dry at all. My green tea was iced cold and refreshing. My husband enjoyed his salad but thought the beef texture was off and tasted old. He said he wouldn't order it again. But the salad part was very good and fresh. He enjoyed his kombucha. He thought the nutty açaí bowl was just okay and didn't taste any peanut butter. We think they forgot to add it. I didn't like the nutty açaí bowl. I didn't care for the flavor. I prefer the açaí bowls at Palmetto Superfoods. I'd probably come back for the sandwich but nothing else.
