Service is great. Food is great. This is only for my tea drink which is the strawberry lychee tea, something fruitie if that is your thing. Prices are also great with $4.5 plus toppings optional. They do have special drinks so see what you see is fitting for you. My fish n chip was also reasonable price with $8 plus toppings if you need extra sauce. I wanted extra so i added lemon pepper which is . 50 cents. My total came out as under $15 so good lunch under $20. Ambiance is nice since they got tv playing in the background plus radio also. My husband and I wanted boba after our drive to Morgan Hill. We wanted to try some place different and came across Pure Tea. What we ordered - Strawberry Yo Milk (yogurt, nondairy ice milk) with mango jelly and taro milk tea (creamy taro root, honey boba, and egg pudding) both 50% sweet. For a snack we got jalapeño poppers. Both drinks were really good and creamy. My husband is a big time taro fan and he drank his in like two gulps. Wild! He liked it that much. I liked my strawberry to drink but it was sweet. Not a bad sweet but I know to get it with less sweetness, lower than 50%. After having lunch in the same shopping center we stopped by for some fruit tea. This as our first time here. They are located in the Country Square center closest to Cottle Rd. I was greeted when I walked in. There was only one employee behind the counter. I checked the menu out and decided to try the strawberry sunrise tea and the honey lemon tea. They were $6 each. They also offer food items like egg rolls, fish and chips, potstickers and mozzarella sticks. My order was ready within 5 minutes. Tithe young man helping me was very nice. There are several booths and tables inside for seating. They had 3 screen tv's on the wall and a claw machine. We thought the teas were just okay. They were not as good as some of the other fruit tea places around town, but they did the job. They were refreshing. It is a nice spot to sit and chat for a bit, especially if you are looking for something casual and low key. The staff can be hit or miss. Pure Tea Bar has been one of my go-to places mostly because it's convenient, close to work, and more importantly, offers snacks as well. Boba is decently chewy. Snacks are okay. Drinks run on the sweeter side. The ambiance is small and cute. Lighting is a little bit on the dim side. There's a few TVs on one side of the wall playing music videos or a movie. I had the Milkway bubble tea with Carmel & a Honey pork Bahn Mi sandwich. Went with 25% sugar, but forgot to ask for light ice so the tea tasted a bit watered down for my taste. And there was VERY little Carmel in the tea at all. The Bahn mi was solid, would have liked it to be filled more ingredients, because there were a few dry bites through out the sandwich, but otherwise the flavor was good. This is the closest boba shop near me so I had my fingers crossed that it would be good! I was pleasantly surprised and overall found it to be good boba tea. The shop is cute and has outdoor and indoor seating options. Their milk is dairy free which is nice and sweetness levels can be adjusted. We ordered their matcha rose milk tea, strawberry jasmine milk tea, and a custom oolong rose milk tea. I got 25% sweetness on my strawberry jasmine and I am glad I did because it was still too sweet for me. The oolong and matcha rose were wayy too sweet at 50%. Both tasted more like 75-80%. The strawberry flavor is tart fyi which I liked because it didn't taste too artificial, but my boyfriend did not like it. Their boba has a nice chew and honey flavor. The matcha rose was good but lacked matcha flavor. All in all, flavors were good just be carefully with the sweetness levels. I've been here before several times for boba. The boba is good, and I keep coming back. Although, it's pretty much just typical and what I expect to get. Nothing outrageously special. But it is good. However, today I am upping my review to five stars. Because their bahn mi is absolutely to die for. I got the #17 honey pork bahn mi. It's made with a 10-in French bread loaf, grilled pork, cucumber, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapenos, mayo, and soy sauce. I took one bite and I literally closed my eyes because the flavor was so good and I wanted to savour that moment. I initially came in just to have half a sandwich and save the rest for later, but I just could not stop eating this sandwich. Because it was so good. This is absolutely my new spot for sandwiches. The red dragon is a great option for a caffeine-free tea (I add fresh fruit bits). Mango sunshine is a great green tea option! Service is always good here and the employees are helpful! Cannot overstate this: can't beat the value of what this Boba Bar offers. The prices are very competitive and remind me of the rise of the boba bars during the early 2010s. This place is also one of the few boba bars left that offer the coupon codes. The one drink that kept me coming back is the Genmaicha Milk Tea; the other boba shop that I frequent solely because of the Genmaicha is one in Morgan Hill and Pure Tea Bar does not disappoint. Another recommendation is the Honeydew Milk Tea: they add real honeydew into their blend which makes all the difference; also one of the few boba bars that I know that does this. If you do not like your drinks too sweet, try 50% sweet and the flavors of the ingredients will shine a little more. We came in 40 minutes before closing on a Tuesday night and were the only ones there. The only worked in the back was very polite and gave our food in a timely manner. This place is so close to my house, I don't know how I've missed this tea bar for so many years! They have a nice selection of boba teas, specialty drinks, and snacks. The most popular drink per the guy at the counter is #10 paradise splash- mango green tea, mango splash, and mango jelly. So we had an order of that and #12 honeydew it- honeydew, jasmine milk tea, and aloe vera. Both were awesome! Plenty of mango jelly and real pieces of honeydew. 50% mango sweetness was right on point for me. Arrived here with family who was visiting from LA! They wanted something sweet and closeby before they drove back to their hotel. Parking isn't an issue since the boba shop is part of a larger plaza. We got here around 3:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Love the vibe with the floral decorations, chill music, claw machine, board games, and interior. They also have outside seating with umbrella tables to get some shade. I highly am impressed with the 2 staff members and thankful because they got 12 orders of boba drinks correct!! I had been here once before the pandemic and just made another visit recently. We arrived and there was one customer picking up her large drink order. I checked out the menu and notice you can adjust the sweetness level (0%-100%). and decided on a Blue Butterfly at 50% sweetness. The cashier got started on my drink right away and my order was ready quickly. We took a seat inside in one of their booths and enjoyed my drink. I got the Honeydew It with light ice and 75% sugar. I could've gone with a 50% sugar as it seems to run sweeter. It comes with aloe vera but really hard to enjoy the drink as the topping stays floating. This drink had pretty strong Jasmine tea and good honeydew flavor as well. It is a really nice place for tea, I will definitely come again as the price is unbeatable! If you're like me, a cup of tea boost up your day, this is a must try location. The Curley fries is yummy, especially like it because it is not spicy with black pepper like some other places, so it is perfect for kids who cannot eat spicy fries like my boy. The deep fried chicken taste little different than the popcorn chicken in most store, it has a taste of Vietnam herbs, if you like food with herbs, give it a try. I've been here a couple times over the years and I dropped by again recently and thought to write a review. I really like their quality of tea, especially in their "1. Pure special". BUT I wouldn't recommend getting the boba added. It doesn't taste fresh and chewy. Pure tea bar also offers a variety of snacks and appetizers and I've liked their crispy chicken bites. I recently tried their honey pork/grilled chicken banh mi sandwiches and wasn't a huge fan. The banh mi has tomatoes in them (not sure why, but you can ask to remove them) and don't have any pickled veggies that you would normally find in a banh mi. If I come back, I may try their Korean bbq banh mi (if its not out of stock), an offering I haven't seen anywhere else! Btw they also have a few games (for all age groups including children toys) that customers can play with during their time here. read more

Pure Tea Bar is mid. It tastes okay, the boba is decently chewy. They're okay if you're in the area, but it's nothing to write home about at all. The tea sometimes tastes a bit artificial, which makes me a bit sad. The environment is pretty decent and it's fun to hang out on the outdoor patio and the service is always really nice. They are super timely and I have no complaints on anything except for the actual tea itself. The prices are pretty okay and the special teas are pretty fun. 50% sweetness feels like 100% sweetness so definitely be wary of your sugar levels. I don't think I'd come here to do any studying or work but definitely cool to go in and out. It's a local place, and it does just fine. I would recommend the fruit teas over their milk teas for sure, come if you're in the area but don't travel to visit here. read more

The jasmine milk tea was stronger on the tea taste and did not have much creaminess to it, had a strong floral aftertaste to it as well.
