This is a clean, small café with an excellent staff that I stumbled upon while driving down Hauser one day. The girls working when I went in for lunch were so friendly and helpful. I really think this place can do well if they make a few improvements to their food. The menu is huge -tons of options. You wouldn't think a place that small can bang out as many different entrees as they do, and the truth is maybe they can't. I wanted to like my chicken sausage breakfast Panini a lot more than I actually did. It was a bland sandwich that I had to douse with hot sauce to wake my taste buds up. And it really wasn't a Panini at all. The bread (sourdough, not ciabatta) wasn't pressed and the cheese was melty, but not melted. The side salad came with no dressing on top or on the side. It was like they were going out of their way to make sure the food was tasteless. Just not really what I was hoping for. There might have been some confusion with my order because it took almost 25 minutes for the plate to come out. My friend, who ordered two minutes before me, was basically done with her meal by the time mine came. I'll still come back and try again, though. Their menu is just too big to give up that easily. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have dinner, I then remembered I had bookmarked casa chocolate on yelp. Cute little restaurant, clean and with lots of seating.The food was to die for and their customers service was top of the line, very welcoming knowledgeable staff. We decided to have breakfast for dinner, I had the french toast breakfast which includes 4slices of French toast, two eggs and two sausage. My boyfriend had the Belgian waffle breakfast which included 4 waffle slices, two eggs and two bacon. We decided to split the breakfast everything was on point and very delicious! I was very impressed definitely recommending casa chocolate to my friends. Before leaving we picked up some of their dessert we got two coconut clusters one white chocolate and one dark, we also got one caramel peanut apple and the most creative and amazing caramel apple I have ever had in my life the pico de Gallo caramel apple a huge granny smith apple dipped in caramel, white chocolate with powdered pico de Gallo and lemon. It's a definite must try. Gaaah! My mouth is watering as I write about it lol if your around the are stop by you won't be disappointed and if you can't decide what to get ask Osbelia to give you some tips, she's great. The first time I came here I got okay service, nothing too friendly but it wasn't rude. I ordered a green juice with some mango. While my friend got a peach mango boba. The juice was really really not working for my taste buds so I had to throw it out. The boba on the other hand was good. The next time I came here I decided to please my sweet tooth and go for one of the candied apples. When we walked in, the lady at the front was busy talking to another woman. Twice we've ordered from them online and twice they've called us up immediately after to tell us they either didn't have or no longer provided one of the items we ordered. That's normally fine, but then when we asked for something else instead, they forced us to get something cheaper even though the difference in both cases was about a dollar. I know the profit-margins on these kinds of items (one was breakfast item and the other a dessert) and for the inconvenience of not having something that is actually still on their menu, the loss would have been minimal. I like the food here (though my eggs came scrambled even though I definitely ordered sunny-side up), but they're kinda shady with the money and wish they'd update their menu! Everytime I have ordered delivery from here they are always later then the estimated time and DO NOT FALLOW INSTRUCTIONS!! My household has food allergies and they delivered late and slathered in mayo.. Came across this place by pure accident. I was in the neighborhood, hadn't eaten, was starved, and had a nail appointment...drove around, hoping to find something good to eat, and saw their sign. I really like this place! I used to go to their other location before it closed down, but then realized that this location (the original) is actually closer! My girlfriend and I really like their coffee and mocha lattes, and they make great sandwiches too. All of the food I've had from this place has been awesome, but my absolute favorite is the breakfast burrito which has multiple kinds of meat in it. A few bites in and I started biting into long strands of onions.... When ours arrived it was the same issue - things we'd been charged extra for were omitted and things that should have been included were not served. They were good enough to resolve the errors for us (and the others) but it shouldn't happen as often as it. Eggs were yummy. Pancakes were amazing. Potatoes were undercooked. $30 for 2 people. Food was just good but not great. Doubt we'll return. UPDATE - SECOND VISIT (increase from 2 to 4 stars) We came back for another visit. They obviously just had a bad day on our previous visit coz this visit was much better. Here's what I ordered. The American Breakfast with a side plain Bagel with Cream Cheese. I also ordered an Americano coffee. The meal was OK. My eggs were not cooked to as requested. I ate them anyways, even though they were a bit raw. The potatoes were a bit undercooked as well. The bacon, 3 pieces, where thrown on the grill and left there and so all 3 pieces were stuck together. The pancakes were decent but had a bit of aftertaste. I'm giving them 5 stars because of the pico de gallo caramel apple. The best thing I've eaten in a while. Granny Smith apple dipped in caramel, then white chocolate and some chile con limon.
