    Breakfast Burrito, Chicken Pesto Sandwich
    Francesca C.

What a hidden gem in West Adams! Casual neighborhood spot with a small parking lot in front. Staff was outstandingly kind and helpful. Order first at the register then you are welcome to seat yourself inside. Excited to see that the breakfast menu is served all day. We ordered the breakfast burrito with chicken sausage and the chicken pesto sandwich. Very quick service, nice plating, and we were overall very impressed with how good and fresh everything tasted! We also tried a hot matcha latte and an iced coconut matcha latte. Both so good! Strong matcha flavor and balanced level of sweetness. + the latte art was adorable! Will definitely be back!

This has been on my "want to try list" for a while, I am glad I did. I was genuinely impressed. The restaurant is in a strip mall, if I hadn't read about it on Yelp, I probably would have passed it without thinking twice. I went on a Thursday morning and parking in the parking lot wasn't an issue. We entered, there was nothing fancy about it, the vibe was relaxed, the place felt clean. We were warmly greeted. I ordered a breakfast burrito and coffee; my partner ordered a latte and a waffle. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. You couldn't help but notice that they made effort with how the food looked. The latte was nicely crafted and had the design of a bird, the waffle looked gorgeous and so did my burrito. I was pleased to see that although the portions were generous, I was getting an oversized burrito that I couldn't finish. I would go back to have that breakfast burrito but there were other things like the breakfast sandwich that also looked good. I am fan!

The food was delicious. Ambiance is great. The cashier that helped us was very nice. We will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu. Definitely recommend.

May 3, 2025 | Downtown: I discovered LA Prime Caffe via YELP! What a fantastic find while in the area! Both delicious food & hot drinks, as well as excellent customer service with a smile! Breakfast Burrito: Yum! It's now my go to every time I visit! The burrito is incredibly filling, as well as insanely flavorful! I love both sauces that the burrito comes with, each with its own unique flavor and adds that extra bite to the burrito, though the burrito is great on its own! I highly recommend! I can usually eat half and eat the rest later, as it's a huge burrito! Extreme Waffle: Delicious & easily shareable! The waffle is so soft & fluffy and with the added fruit toppings, even more flavorful! Plus, there's vanilla ice cream in the middle, drizzled with Nutella... yummy! I also highly recommend this waffle! Matcha Latte: Yum!! Full of flavor, and I was so excited when the cup arrived to the table with a cute little bear design on the surface, super creative Latte Art!! Definitely made me smile big, it's the simple things in life! Haha!! Customer Service: On both visits, so friendly, and I love it! One of the guys at the register even remembered me and the distance away that I traveled to get to this restaurant! Conversation flows easily here! This place gets really busy, as it's super popular & the guys here just keep smiling! Great vibes all around! Menu: Diverse, vegan options as well! Seating: Plentiful & there are cute colorful flowers on the tables! Parking: A few spaces, free parking & shared with other stores nearby! Overall: Yes, please! Great customer service, incredibly memorable burritos, waffles & the creative & cute latte art...let's go!!

Good place to grab food. I also got the horchata matcha. That was way too sweet in my opinion.

I used to live in West Adams 10 years ago, but puzzled as to why I never stopped by here for breakfast. I found myself again in this neck of the woods after dropping off my sister at the airport when somehow my frantic yelp maps search for a waffle lead me to this quaint spot. The facade is very unassuming and you're unsure which door to enter unless you're close enough to catch the sign directing customers to enter through the left most door. Once you enter them, you're welcomed with the sweetest staff of dudes who are very helpful. The menu lists the usual breakfast fare but I came for a waffle. I ordered a basic Belgian waffle, and it was absolutely delectable. I need to come back and take some friends here.

The always delicious breakfast burrito. Try it with the chicken sausage.

2 years later and this place is still one of our favorite breakfast spots. Staff is still amazing - friendly and helpful. Prices are still really reasonable, and the food is still wonderful. We always get the breakfast burrito. It's super tasty with crispy tater tots, nice guacamole and fantastic dipping sauces. I finally got around to trying the waffle and it did not disappoint. Literally, the best waffle I've ever had in my life. It was so crispy and light, with wonderfully fresh fruit beautifully presented. I can't say enough good things - just try it. 5 stars still.

I came here around noon on a Friday with a friend. We ordered at the counter and then picked our own seats - it wasn't very busy so we had no issue finding a table. I ordered the Rooibos Tea Latte and the Breakfast Burrito. I LOVE tea art and was so pleasantly surprised when they place the mug in front of me with such a beautiful bird on it! It tasted amazingggg, kept me feeling so warm. The breakfast burrito was DELICIOUS, it came with a side of chipotle mayo and spicy salsa which both proved to be great sauces for this burrito. The entire tortilla was soft, the insides melty and gooey, that's exactly how I like my burritos. For 2 meals (breakfast burritos and drinks), it was around ~$35 and I was sufficiently STUFFED afterwards. There was a small parking lot and street parking (free). I'll definitely be back for breakfast time again!

Cozy, clean, and full of flavor. The hot Matcha Latte with oatmilk was smooth and soothing. The Prime House Breakfast (chicken sausage + over-easy eggs) was simple, saucy, and satisfying. Afro house music and a laid-back vibe make this café a local gem. Order when you walk in. The service is prompt and hospitable.

This spot is unassuming but the quality of food is incredible and the prices are more than reasonable esp given quantity. The coffee latte was good, the spicy scramble, the French toast and the prime breakfast. We also got the matcha coconut blended and it's perfect for this day. You order at counter then sit down. Service is friendly love the latte art. Will def be back

Very delicious sandwiches & waffles. I got the churro waffle i definitely recommend. The matcha had a great flavor and it was extra frothy. Quick and friendly service.

French toast combo add fruit. Delicious.

I find this to be a simplistic place to grab an enjoyable meal. The food is always fresh and flavorful and their latte's give it a special kind of oomph. The servers are all very nice. Today the avocado toast was tasty. I like that it was served on crostini's that were both crispy and also not too crisp to make them hard to eat. The chicken sausage was just ok. It was flavored well but it was a texture thing for me. Reminded me too much of a hot dog texture. My dolce latte was delicious. The vibe of the wait staff was friendly and helpful. It was crowded today so the noise levels were a little high but there was soft music playing in the background to counter the inside noise nicely. I'll be back to try something new!

For dessert we ordered the blackberries & butter cake. It was served with a frozen blackberry basil jam which had the consistency of a sorbet and basil whipped cream. My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I had many questions, and both he and his team addressed every single one with patience, care, and attention to detail. It's clear that Dave was born to host events! That level of guidance makes all the difference when you're nervours... that patience and guidance it's exactly what you want in a venue partner. Prank was an excellent choice for our event. The location is fantastic, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the drinks and food were outstanding. Thank you so much. We will absolutely recommend Prank and keep it on our radar for future events in LA.

The open patio, the bar area and how it wraps around the corner where there is a smaller intimate section. The music was awesome, the bartender has a great pour and the people seemed to be really having a great time. As I look around I see there is an open upstairs area that looks down onto the first level. So cool right? I had a conversation with two regulars and they swear by the menu. Plans are made to come back and I must try the food when I do. Cheers!!

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

The food had a perfect balance of flavors. The tacos de papa is topped off with salsa macha but the spice was not overpowering. My favorite was the ribeye taco. The owners and waiter were very welcoming, hospitable and kind. 100000/10!

It's located within Hauser & Wirth which I discovered is an art gallery. When you walk through the building and enter the restaurant, it's such a big open space and doesn't feel cramped at all. Such a nice ambiance with lovely greenery and decor. Perfect for celebrations or a nice date out! Great for photos too. Across the way from the restaurant, there's even an area with fresh herbs being grown and you can even see a bunch of chickens! So if you come with little ones, they'll be super entertained and will have a great time here. We ordered a whole bunch of food and split everything. Upon seeing so many reviews for the cornbread, we had to get that and wow wow wow it is so worth the hype. Unreal. We had to order 2 because it was that good. Smoked albacore dip, ocean trout tartare, and louisiane shrimp aguachile were all good. The cara cara salad was diviiiiiine, so unique, it's a salad of oranges but it had such a unique flavor and had a slight kick to it. It's one of a kind! Both the grilled yellowtail and hangar steak were delicious, the steak comes with two eggs. Both cooked to perfection. Got a side of grilled asparagus, this one had an interesting twist with seaweed. Tasty but other dishes shined more. We ordered so much food and everything had such a beautiful presentation and was really delicious! I would come back here again in a heartbeat. One of my fave restaurants in LA, by far. Service was great too!
