    Cute Decorations.

Very good desserts. I have also ate the Chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple. The crepes are very good. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed all of the things we got. Good music and a very nice atmosphere. And staff are very nice. It's a cute little date spot.

I am fairly impressed with this crowd pleaser of a dessert place - if you come with a small group odds are someone is going to find something to enjoy and share. For us, we all agreed that Pistachio Kup was the thing to get (3 of us ordered it) - I was pretty happy with the layer of pistachio cream topping chopped pistachios with plenty of vanilla ice cream and a bottom layer that repeats the chopped pistachio and cream. It is a very filling dessert, but I found the texture of the ice cream to be a little cool whip like. This spot is brightly lit and has a good amount of seats - it made me feel like I was in Europe on vacation. I would return without hesitation.

If you love chocolate, this place is pretty much heaven. From the drinks to the desserts, everything feels indulgent. We tried a few of their Dubai chocolate options in the past, and while it was very good, it is just a tad bit expensive. It's definitely a reasonable though due to the price of pistachio and the good quality of chocolate they use. You really can't go wrong with any of the strawberry options either. They do play a lot of good music, which millennials will appreciate. This is the kind of place you go when you want to treat yourself, and the presentation makes it feel special!

The service and the selection is next level!!!! There's so much competition on Steinway but it's really the staff that make this spot standout. Tried their new tiramisu shake which legit had a piece of tiramisu ON IT and a lady finger. Cup was loaded up with chocolate and shake itself was coffee flavored. The birthday cake crepe is PACKED with strawberries, cake, chocolate, sprinkles--you gotta eat it right there though otherwise the crepe itself gets weird. I also had the s'mores crepe but added cheesecake and that was not AS good as the birthday cake but fantastic nonetheless. I always worry about these fillings and toppings being stale (especially cheesecake) but it was fresh and GOOD. If they make a tiramisu crepe I'd be there in a flash.

My girlfriend and I were in the mood for something sweet! We heard about this place via Tik Tok and decided to try it! Upon entering, you immediately smell the sweetness! The aroma was divine! We ordered the pistachio mini pancakes with strawberries and dark chocolate with powdered sugar and the cannoli crepes with strawberries and chocolate chips! Both tasted amazing and the toppings were rich! Definitely needed water after because of the sugar overload! It is worth coming back again though!

Astoria doesn't have any shortage of amazing desserts but Chocolate House brings a wide variety of virtually any dessert to satisfy one's sweet tooth. It's super spacious, clean, staff is kind, and the desserts are great- what's not to love? Some of my favorites include the spiced chai latte (my parents loved this too) and the lotus biscoff sundae (something I always end up getting) albeit I don't think this place could do any wrong and everything on the menu would be good. All in all, whenever I'm in Astoria I know I'll inevitably end up at the Chocolate House.

What can I say other than DELICIOUS. Everything is so great but not overwhelming. The crepes are perfect, NY cheesecake shake is liquid heaven. The KUPs are bomb and great on the go treats. The cheesecakes are small but powerful in flavor. It's a cute and clean indoor vibe with the service to match. You won't wait more than a few minutes unless you ordered something crazy. So worth a save!

Ordered: Lotus Waffle Stick (~$10): waffle stick drizzled with Lotus butter and white chocolate, topped with crushed Lotus Biscoff cookies Aya's take: New dessert spot on Steinway and we decided to come by for a quick dessert. Let me cut to the chase - get the Lotus Waffle Stick. They're freshly made and I absolutely love the taste of Lotus butter, so I knew this would be good. It's sweet, rich, and delicately creamy. Some ice cream would've been great with it but overall, it's good for sharing and will definitely curb your sweet tooth cravings!

The food at the Chocolate House was absolutely amazing. The staff were kind and helpful at going through the menu and making alterations. Space felt cozy and low key. Ordered the Chocolate Dubai, strawberry cheesecake and Nutella crepes. Everything was fresh and good amount of food.

Chocolate House was giving away free chocolate covered strawberries dessert in a cup for the 1st 50 people in line. This was first time going there. This was a nice way to sample what they have. The restaurant was spacious. The chocolate covered strawberries were delicious and they gave a syringe of chocolate which you can squeeze and cover the strawberries more with chocolate which was an interesting concept.

Needed a quick fix and got the lotus milkshake. It was tasty and more home made like just milk and ice cream which was perfect. I want to come back for the pistachio crepe!

It's an amazing place for chocolate treats, Middle Eastern style. Chocolate House replaced an ice cream parlor which had been at that very same location during the COVID epidemic. I thoroughly recommend the chocolate-covered tree and its hot beverages, particularly hot chocolate. Will I be back? Of course! I highly recommend this place -they got everything right!!

Got the banana mango pineapple smoothie which was perfect, not too sweet. It was the perfect balance of fruits.

What an excellent find on the lower east side…read more Mrs. E. is a sweet crepe aficionado. If it's not honey and butter she would've ordered the apple, caramel and walnut crepe. She reports an excellent experience! I tried the more savory Smoked Turkey with shrooms and Swiss Cheese. As big as they are, it was so good I was still thinking of getting seconds. They also have vegetarian, fruit and chocolate crepes. They are open until 2am. Not that we'd ever need it, it's nice to know. We stopped at a good time mid-morning, not too long a line and it moved pretty fast. The place is a bit small but there's seating outside. If there wasn't so much NYC to see, we would definitely be back. 10/24

Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

Strawberry Nutella $10.83 Sliced fresh strawberries and Nutella are my favorite combination. It is the only crepe that I have a desideratum as nothing else on the menu entice my interest. It was certainly delicious and fresh served on a cardboard holder in a small custom metal stanchion as I decided to dine-in. I would never made it home in one cohesive piece of my long-haul MTA NYC Transit bus ride to southwestern Queens, NYC. The crepe was also messy with the Nutella spewing out when biting and holding the crepe. The Nutella was very delicious and chocolatey. It was prepared in a open-kitchen. Price is standard as expected in 2026 stagflation era. French crepes reminisce me of a past visit to Paris, France of once idyllic times with my former love. Customer service is attentive. There is sufficient indoor seating with tables. This T-Swirl Crepe is located on a second floor small shopping complex. I did receive a sale receipt as proof and authority in support of my patronized visit.

These crepes were thin and crispy on the edges. The strawberry, chocolate truffles, and matcha paired so well together, and the crepes were stuffed. The taste was somewhat nostalgic and reminded me of the sandwiches I used to get at a Chinese bakery. I tried the Strawberry Cucumber Iced Tea with lychee jelly, which was very refreshing and reminded me of a spa. There is a bit of a wait for your food and drinks after you place your order, but it's not an unreasonable wait. This was my first time trying T-Swirl, and I was really surprised and impressed. This creperie is located in a corner and is pretty dim, but there's a few tables and chairs inside.

The vibrant storefront immediately caught our eye with its colorful display of donuts, and once inside, we were surprised to see not just donuts, but also crêpes, ice cream, and more. Food: 3/5 I ordered their donut ice cream sandwich, which came with three scoops of ice cream and toppings inside a donut of my choice. My friend went for two scoops of ice cream on a cone. While it all sounded amazing, the execution didn't quite land. My donut felt a bit stale, probably because they toasted it to hold the ice cream, but I prefer a softer, fluffier donut. The ice cream flavors also didn't wow me, so I ended up eating just a few bites. My friend's cone was fine, but the scoops were piled high in a way that made it impossible not to drip everywhere. For what it was, $30+ for both of us felt steep. Service: 4/5 It looked like maybe one or two people were running the whole show, which meant long waits. My friend's cone took about 15-20 minutes, and my donut sandwich another 10 after that. If you're ordering something simple, it's faster, but the more "fun" menu items definitely take time. Ambiance: 4/5 The space itself is really fun -- lots of bright colors, seating areas, and even a wall you can write on. It clearly appeals to a younger crowd or those looking for an Instagrammable late-night stop. All in all, it was fun to try, but I can't say I'd rush back. The concept is great, but between the long wait, steep price, and underwhelming flavors, it didn't live up to the hype. I'd only stop by again if I happened to be in the area and really wanted something different.

Place is spotless clean, tidy, and organized. The sweet & savory crepes do look like the exact replicas from the display window ~ so no false advertising at all. The ambiance wise is a cute little shop. The savory crepes make a pretty good breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a quick snack on the go. As for the sweet crepes, it's a sweet little treat once in a while (two to three times in a month). The crepes are made with 100% rice flour. Additionally, they can be made gluten-free upon request to the staff from customers when paying with cash or card in the front counter. Every individual crepe is freshly made when customers have placed an order. Now, they've mini crepes on the menu if you don't wanna bite into a regular-sized version. You can choose to add a scoop of ice cream on the sweet crepe for an additional cost as well. My favorite sweet crepe is the Matcha Chocolate Truffles. It contains sliced strawberries + diced chocolate truffles + matcha custard cream + whipped yogurt + chocolate sauce + crushed pistachio. Has the right amount of sweetness and textures. Better eat really fast because the chocolate sauce & custard cream might start melting/leaking onto your hands. The crepe will become soggy too after 10-15 minutes or so. I think there's hand sanitizer or wipes if your hands do end up being sticky though. My favorite savory crepe is the Chicken Teriyaki. Definitely healthier and a bit more on the drier side compared to the sweet crepes with the chocolate sauce. The ingredients are chicken breast stripes + baby spinach leaves + diced carrots + corn pieces + red onions, sliced boiled eggs + sesame seeds + crunchy shallots. Sesame dressing & teriyaki sauce are drizzled on top to finish it off. Less messy to eat too because nothing is melting. Surprisingly, the crepe shell is still crispy even after 30 minutes if you're a slow eater like me! I enjoy stopping by once in a while for a sweet treat or a quick snack since it's the closest spot to my home.
