    Strawberry Nutella- Sliced Strawberries, Nutella.
    Eric H.

Tonight went to T-Swirl Japanese Crêpe 81-10 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 11373, Queens--and man, this spot blew me away. I'm a dessert guy through and through, and these crêpes hit different. First one: sliced strawberries, bananas, custard cream, whipped yogurt, chocolate pearls, and crushed pistachio--pure magic. Then I went for the Strawberry Nutella, and thank god I did. Prices might shift a bit from what's printed, but the cashier was super kind and explained everything clearly (so yeah, ask before you order). Bonus points--they make your crêpe right in front of you like a dessert performance. The place? Cozy lights, chill music, and good vibes all around. Even if you're a takeout-only type, sit down once--you'll leave smiling like a fool with powdered sugar on your shirt. #foodieinthebigapple2025

This is one of the many locations of this popular Japanese style crepes. I've never had their savory crepes but I've been to a few of the locations and I've had multiple of their sweet ones. The staff here are friendly enough and definitely friendlier than the St. Mark's location though that might be because of how crowded the other location. For this location, the inside is nice and clean. The price point is a bit odd as the regular size is not that much more than a mini and it's much bigger by comparison. My personal preference is the Crepe Brûlée which has a choice of fruits between banana, strawberry, raspberry, mango, or lychee. It of course has a layer of caramelized sugar on top and my preference is lychee though the mango one is also good. Below is a layer of custard cream which is semi-sweet and I think it pairs very nicely with the lychee in particular. In terms of mini versus regular, the regular is substantially bigger and not that much more expensive so you might as well get that one. For two people, I would recommend the Mango Deluxe with fresh mango, mango jelly, dry mango, mango compote, mascarpone, gelato, honey, whipped yogurt, and mango mascarpone cream. It is a bit of mango overload but it has a lot of fun textures with the mascarpone in particular being a fun touch with some much needed sourness and richness to pair with the sweet mango. For something less sweet, I would recommend the Lychee Romantic with lychees, raspberries, rose custard cream, whipped yogurt, crushed pistachio sauce, and crushed pistachios. The pairing is nice and it has good floral notes overall with some nuttiness and sweetness but not too much. This is not my favorite dessert chain but it gets the job done. The desserts outside of the crepes are just OK (such as the cakes) but it's a decent option for a snack or dessert.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall. Very close to my sister's apt. Food is good. Staff is friendly. Place is nice and clean. Was enough room to fit our group of 6. No rest rooms, though. Nice spot to fulfill your sweet tooth after a heavy dinner. Definitely worth checking out.

Had always wanted to go to T-Swirl Crepe, Saw them at Chinatown and then in Flushing. After dropping off mail at the post office I saw a T-Swirl Crepe across the street. Noticed their current promotion-Lunch Special posted on the window $13.99 for a savory crepe with tea. Walked in and it was empty saw two kiosk at the entrance area. Staff motion to come to the counter. Ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Crepe with a Passion Fruit Green Tea. As they prepared the order, I noticed at the Kiosk, the screen was showing video of how the crepes were bring made. Ambiance was warm and inviting with outlets where you can plug in your laptop or charge phone. Lighting really good that you can come for a meal and get some work done. The crepes were delicious. Got to enjoy the sliced chicken breast, baby spinach, corn, red onions, shredded carrots, crunchy shallots, sesame seeds, boiled eggs, and teriyaki dressing. Will definitely be back to try their other savory crepes.

There are tablets by the door to take orders and I think you can also order at the register if paying in cash. Plenty of seating so you can enjoy your crepes indoors instead of standing outside. I got their strawberry banana crepe and because there was an ongoing promo, I also got a free mango Yakult drink too! The crepe was made really quickly as they already have crepes ready to assemble behind the counter. I like how they packaged it in a way that made it easy to eat and not spill everywhere. The crepe had a good amount of filling and one is definitely enough for one person. Maybe I'll give one of their savory crepes a try one day.

I was in the neighborhood and the lunch special caught my eye. I ordered the spicy crabmeat crepe with Thai tea. The savory crepe was so big and delicious. It had Crabmeat sticks, Fresh Avocado, Mesclun Mix, Masago, Seaweed Salad, Cucumbers, Edamame (Soy Beans), Crunchy Shallots, Sesame Seed, Spicy Mayo, Sesame Dressing. The Thai tea was a little sweet for me. I will try a fruit tea and another savory crepe the next time.

I love that there is now a T swirl Crepe in my neighborhood! This new spot is clean, modern, and such a pleasant place to visit. They even have a promo where you can get a free drink with your crepe purchase, although it might have been only between 12-6PM. Order kiosks by the door allow you to peruse the menu at your own leisurely place. They have a number of savory and sweet options but that night we were craving sugar. We ordered a Lychee Pistachio crepe and watched them make it fresh. The crepe comes in a holder so you can eat it conveniently at one of the many tables inside. The crepe dough was soft and slightly sweet. The raspberries and lychees added a fruity sweetness complemented by the tart yogurt creme and pistachio sauce. This was the perfect dessert without being overindulgent or excessively sweet. A great spot to indulge without going crazy on sugar.

Ever since its opening, T-Swirl has had me inexplicably hooked! I probably come here at least once a week because the crepes are that addicting. My go to sweet order is Mango Raspberries and savory would be the Spicy Crabmeat. Both have the perfect balance of flavors and I love the texture of the crepe- nice and crisp at the edges but thin and chewy closer to the center. The crepes are assembled so well that with every bite, you're bound to get a mouthful of everything. Service is always quick and efficient. There are two kiosks by the door for those who don't want to order at the front, but there's also an app you can order from in advance. I absolutely love the efficient and intuitive packaging on the to-go orders, which make for a simple eating experience that is spill-free. The interior is very roomy and airy with plenty of seats as well.

Had a wonderful time here for the grand opening! Came from LI to help celebrate and enjoy delicious crepes. So happy we came! Definitely recommend!! This location is a little larger than others. With lots of seating to relax in. Limited menu for the grand opening but still so worth it.

Feeling very sorry for myself, I wandered over to a great looking restaurant at Laguardia featuring steak, steak, and more steak. Yum. I ordered a 12 oz New York Strip steak, medium rare, French fries, a beautiful melange of mushrooms, and a Ceasar salad. I also ordered a wonderful bottle of Pinot Noir. A bottle you say???!!!! Well, after all, I had 6 hours to kill. The Fries came long before the steak. This is a positive if you are starving. This is a negative if you are trying to balance your carbs with your protein. I also love fries with mayonnaise, not with ketchup. That is why I ordered mayonnaise and was very disappointed to find little plastic packets of mayonnaise delivered to me instead of something befitting the sixty dollar steak had just ordered. In all, my meal, without the wine, was $100 total. And yet, plastic packets. I digress. The steak arrived, and it was actually quite perfect.......perfectly cooked and juicy .....very flavorful. The mushrooms were plentiful and richly flavored. The steak came with a nice sized salad. So frankly, I never got to eat the small caesar that I ordered extra. So if I were you, I would skip any extra salad...go with the plate salad. The wine was decadent. Luscious and smooth...yum. the service was really quite good, but be prepared to order off your phone for the most part. So, if you are stuck at Laguardia, are hungry, have a $190 bucks to spare and don't mind small plastic packets of condiments....run...don't walk, to this Steakhouse.

The in-house strawberry syrup was fantastic and tasted fresh without being overly sweet or artificial. You can also tell they use quality matcha because the flavor really comes through. It had a strong matcha taste without crossing into bitterness, and the balance between the earthy matcha and sweet strawberry was super well done. Not too sweet, not too bitter! Just really smooth and balanced overall. Definitely understand why this place gets so much love on social media. Excited to come back and hopefully try the persimmon matcha next season.

I personally got to try the strawberry matcha. The matcha flavor was good. As for the strawberry bottom, it was more jam-y than I expected. It was the exact taste of strawberry jam that you would put on a toast than pure crushed strawberries. Although this particular one isn't my preferred strawberry matcha, I think some people would enjoy it. I did like the sweetness that came from it.
