We stopped in because we were looking for some good ice cream. We sampled some of the fudge. It was amazing and creamy. We also were able to sample ice cream flavors. Unfortunately their coolers didn't seem to be keeping up with the temp because the ice cream was fairly soft for hard serve. The woman helping us was incredibly pushy. That was a turn off for me. We are here vacationing and I wanted to try this place out however it appear we went to the wrong location. My husband and children waited 5 minutes for other customers. One lady walked in after us she ordered ice cream while we waited to give our order, however she was check out ahead of us. Finally we order two candied apples. She proceeded to check us out then a group of 6-8 people came in had drinks she proceeds to check them out tells me she will ring them up first. Not only did they want drinks but they were ordering other items. I don't know what this clerk was doing but she seemed to find fault in my family. She doesn't know us I am military and will be blasting this location because she either bias or lacks customer skills. All my chocolate lovers please be advised: this location is dangerous! For the simple fact that it's DELICIOUS! The chocolate monkey offers a huge variety of chocolate coated items. They also offer fudge, praline pecans & almonds, & ice cream. The staff at this location were incredibly friendly & helpful. They allowed me to taste test different flavors & items. This place had the biggest apples I've seen! I tried one that had Oreos and white chocolate on it and fell in love! The woman that greeted us when we entered had the cutest accent and was extremely helpful with us picking out what to purchase. Chocolate heaven! We first discovered this place when we were walking around Gatlinburg and saw the Blue Bell ice cream signs. It is our favorite ice cream. My husband is always in search of the banana pudding ice cream. I've had the chocolate and the chocolate mint ice cream. There is also a very large variety of fudge and candy. I've had the truffles. Everything I've ever had here has been extremely yummy. This will be one of our regular stops on all our Gatlinburg trips. read more

I stopped by this chocolate shop on vacation with my family, we hadn't planned on stopping but as we were walking along the stretch of shops, the beautifully crafted chocolate and caramel dipped apples drew our attention. The entire front window cleverly displays a large array of these deliciously inviting apples. The inside of the shop is very small and seemed even smaller since there was a line of 5+ people waiting to check out. Since the apples were at the front of the store it was difficult to make a selection until you worked your way to the front of the line. We selected a milk chocolate dipped green apple drizzled with white chocolate and my parents grabbed a caramel dipped apple with nuts. The clerk offered to cut the apple, but advised that if we were not going to eat them in the next half hour that it wasn't a good idea! We saved them for the next day and they were AMAZING, the chocolate was rich but not to much and the apples were very fresh. With such a large crowd in the shop I was pleasently surprise that the whole experience (including glazing at the apples) only took several minutes. If you are on your honeymoon or getting married, they had the cutest bride and groom apples in the center of the display case as well. read more

Love, love, love this place! Soo many apples to choose from and they'll add stuff to it if u ask, plus they cut up for you if you want. I love my covered apples. They have a bunch of yummy fudge too...buy 2 slices get 1 free. There are tons of other goodies too, even if you're craving a sucker with scorpion in the middle - lol. They are a little expensive but well worth it. Chocolate is one of the things I couldn't live without and this place could supply it! Staff is always super friendly every time we have been and go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. They offer a discount to veterans and I think that's wonderful for people to do (just another reason to take my gpaw and have him but me goodies! ha!). The best part of my girl trip was finding this store and meeting Tommy (at the location in Pigeon Forge)...he's the textbook example of what good customer service is all about! There were sooo many different types of fudge. Some that I've never even seen before! Plus a huge selection of different caramel apples and different chocolate covered treats. Plus they have blue bell ice cream. And a ton of stuffed monkeys haha. But overall, just a basic regular chocolate place. Worth going to though if you're craving some treats! read more

Got a friendly greeting upon walking in the door. We were able to sample the ice cream before we chose. I got a single scoop of bearclaws on a waffle cone and my boyfriend got a single scoop of ultimate peanut butter brownie in a waffle cone. $5 for a single scoop seemed like a lot at first but it is very worth it. This has got to be the best fudge on the Parkway. I didn't even look at their other offerings but they are probably just as good. Real cream and butter in the fudge puts this closer to homemade than any others being sold in Gatlinburg. Customer service was great too. Three squares for the price of two, on par with the others, but of course that always ensures you spend twice as much than you intended because you went in just for chocolate and they have lots of other unique flavors you will want to try. read more

The best fudge and hot chocolate in Gatlinburg.I was there 3 days in a row. It's amazing
