I've been to the crazy Mason in Myrtle Beach and it was amazing. The line here was no comparison to Myrtle Beach, there was pretty much no line here. I got the kids Cuppy Cake with a scoop of cookie dough which was an additional two dollars. I was expecting to get a small cup of ice cream but it was probably too big scoops of ice cream. The ice cream was all right I ate about half of it. I threw away all of the frosting and the fake whip topping and the cupcake. The cupcake was not good at all. This was at the top of our list of places we had to visit on our trip! Being spring break season we understood that there was a long line and it was our choice to wait. It would be nice if they crossed off items they were out of or made some sort of announcement especially when waits are so long. Once we ordered it was back to waiting. Another 30 minutes later we got our shake. It looked BEAUTIFUL! The flavor was good but nothing outstanding. But the consistency was terrible. It was like drinking regular milk it was so runny and melted. There was no frozen or ice-creamy thickness to it at all. Being a place where milkshakes are your claim to fame you expect it to be a good consistency at least and it missed the mark by a mile. Her's was a milkshake full of disgusting cookie chips cereal. So it ended up just tasting like a bowl of soggy and stale cookie cereal. I walked paste SugarBabies the next day and was upset we didn't go there instead. Yep, this is definitely over the top but you gotta love the audacity of it all. I got the No Oreo-dinary Cheesecake and these things are quite large so I shared it with my wife. Oreo cookies, vanilla ice cream, whipped icing, chocolate sauce and topped with a slice of cheesecake! Out of control lol. Their milkshakes have a LOT going on and they not only look great, they taste great. My kids were overwhelmed with joy as they made their selection and so was I! So many creative options to choose from. They both got the Salty But Sweet and neither one could finish it but best believe they tried. You get to keep the mason jar which is like a badge of honor. They were busy since they're located smack dab in the middle of tourist lane and there was about a 10 minute wait, but it was worth it. It was steady traffic but we were able to find seats. We were there for about 30 minutes and it gets busy but it would be nice if they offered a table cleaning station so customers can clean a table as things were very sticky. Something for them to consider, as they continue to grow! Overall, if you're okay with the tourist price and don't mind some stick, give them a try.
