Wow were they top notch. Huge cookies. Several options to choose from along with cookies of the week. My entire family agreed that we just found our newest favorite cookie shop. They have a wide variety of Babcock ice creams to choose from for cones and dishes and there are unique flavors of shakes, floats, and sundaes. We ended up ordering the cold brew coffee float which features Let It Ride cold brew coffee and the hot honey mango shake. Both were quite tasty, but the shake was a standout. It's a flavor we haven't seen around Madison before and it's wonderfully balanced between the sweetness of the mango and the slight spicing of the hot honey to make a delightful shake. Staff was very friendly and we were able to try some samples of the ice creams to decide what we wanted. There is also a nice patio setup off of the bike path in the back. As it was opening day, they are still working out some kinks and working on some fun other options for the menu. We spoke to the owner and it sounds like there will be some vegan options coming in the very near future in some sorbets.

The menu pictures don't look like a smash burger, but that is exactly what we were given, overcooked, all the way through. I am not sure why people claim the Mooyah sauce is great, as there was barely any sauce on it, and you could barely taste it. The lettuce was wilted, and was scant. Where's the tomato? It was very thinly sliced. The shareable fries were like a party for four, we should have ordered the personal fries, as we brought over half of them home. Hopefully with a minimum of fuss, line waiting, and conversation. We all know the drill by now. It is what it is. If you're giving it less than five stars for being anything other that what it is, that's a you-problem, because this is just what Kwik Trip does. Doesn't matter which one you go to. They're all the same. --However, when you find one of their frosted Persian doughnuts, and some kind soul has over-frosted that beast--there may not be anything finer on this planet. I am trying to avoid sugar as best I can, but if I see one of those Persians, and it's HEAPED with frosting, I will always, ALWAYS buy it. Those are my true Kwik Trip weakness.
